All For One POV

AFO: "So I presume we have a deal, mr. Chisaki..."

Chisaki: "Yes, we have it."

AFO: "Do what you must do and we'll both get what we want."

Chisaki: "Don't worry, everything will go smoothly and when the heroes'll discover our plan, it'll be to late to stop us."

AFO: "Good. Now go, we must be prepared when the time comes."

Meanwhile

Alex POV

I woke up thinking, fearing, that it was all a beautiful dream...but thank God it wasn't. I saw her laying beside me, still sleeping peacefully and embracing me. I can hardly tell another time I felt so...complete...so happy...so loved. It's a beautiful sensation: you think for all your life that you'll be alone forever, but suddently there's that person, that special, unique person you wish to be with 'till the end, but you're unsure if she feels the same...then you discover that the one you have been dreaming day and night long to be with, has been doing the same, thinking about you, and before you notice, you two end up kissing and starting a completely new chapter of your lifes...it's beautiful to feel yourself loved...to actually be important to someone...to hear those three words, 'I love you'.

I started to softly smile at the sight of her, thinking that she was the most stunningly beautiful thing I ever saw or had in my miserable life, also wondering how could someone like her love someone like me...I started caressing her hair, her soft, black and beautiful hair and she, subconciously started smiling at the touch, and I thought it was one of the cutest and prettiest things I've ever seen in my life. I intensely looked at her as the angel she was, admiring also how well she smelled. I both wanted that moment to never end, and that she woke up so that I could also see her stunning eyes locking with mine...those moments when we looked at eachother in the eyes were a few of my favourite ones with her: you could see her true soul in her eyes, her gorgeous and truthful eyes.

She slowly started to open her eyes, that she locked with mine, and slowly said

Nora: "Morning Handsome."

Alex: "Morning Beautiful."

Nora: "Thanks for yesterday, it was the best day of my life, and also the best night ever."

Alex: "You're right, they were the best day and night ever. You know, you're cute when you sleep."

Nora: "I wish I woke up earlier to see you first, at least I could've fixed my hair a bit."

Alex: "No need: you're more beautiful right now than any other time. You being here with me, it's all I could ever dream of...I love you, Nora West-Allen."

Nora: "I love you, Alex Thawne."

We shared a long kiss, that turned into a make out session. It's incredible how mesmerizing her lips are, it's like touching the Heaven with every kiss. But we were soon interrupted by a knock on the door

???: *knock knock* "Alex, are you in there?"

Alex: (oh shit) "Hey, Antony, just wait a second, we're not presentable at the moment!"

Antony: "Alright, anyway I wanted to ask you something!"

Alex: "Okay, when we get out you can ask me, just wait there okay?"

Anthony: "Okay, sure."

Nora: "Who's Antony?"

Alex: "The owner of the place."

Nora: "I didn't know you were friends."

Alex: "Yeah, we get along well. Anyways, it might be good to fix this room up, we kinda let ourselves go last night..."

Nora: *looks at the room, blushes* "Y-Yeah, maybe..." *laughs nervously*

Do you wanna know another bless of being a speedster? Something that could take hours to be done, like fixing the huge mess in that bedroom, takes only one minute maximum, even less with two speedsters.

As soon as we stepped out of the house we were met with Anthony, the owner of the house. He was a man on his 30s, a very clever and kind man, also a happy family father.

Antony: "Hey, Alex, how are you two doing?"

Alex: "Hey, Tony, everything's all right. Thank you for letting us borrow the place."

Antony: "Anytime Alex, I just hope you didn't break too many things~"

Alex: *laughs nervously* "Ehm, not too many...we put everything back together, sorry."

Antony: "Hey, don't worry: I wish I was that energetic again *laughs*. Anyway, shouldn't you be at U.A. by now? I mean, with all the festival thing, you know?"

Alex: "The sports festival, yeah. Don't worry, we'll be there maximum in a couple of minutes. Hey, honey, you ready?"

Nora came out of the house all ready for departure. We exchanged a loving look, smiled at eachother and Nora just couldn't look at me straight in the eyes: after last night she was still flustered just by looking at me, how am I this lucky to have her?

Antony: "Ahh...young love..."

Alex: *chuckles a bit* "Shut up! Anyway, man, we should really go now."

Nora: "Thanks a lot, Antony." *shakes his hand*

Antony: *shakes back* "Hey, don't mention it: I owed him a favour."

Nora: "What did Alex help you with?"

Alex: "Oh, just some rude dudes, nothing too fancy."

Antony: "He's being too modest, Nora: a couple of guys were constantly harassing me, saying that for the 'protection' they were willing to give me, they deserved my money. Alex saw it, jumped in and kicked their asses, that's how we've met for the first time."

Nora: "My hero~"

Alex: "Ooookay, though I'm enjoying this conversation it's late, and we really have to go. Bye Antony, thanks again."

Antony: "Hey, I owed you that, no need to say thanks. Good luck to the both of you!"

Nora: "Thanks, bye!"

After that we speeded back home and changed. As we went down the stares both Barry and Iris were watching us with arms crossed, and Iris had a small knowing smirk.

(Oh shit...)

I think it was the same for Nora, judging by her expression

Barry: "Do you know how worried we were? Where have you been for an entire day?"

Nora: "Ehm...well, we...ehm..."

Alex: "We sleeped over at a friend's place."

Barry: "And why didn't you call to tell us?"

Alex: "We had no connection."

Barry: "And how is that possible exactly? Where were you?"

Alex: "Hawaii."

Barry: "You...what?! Hawaii?"

Nora: *chuckles nervously, scratching the back of her neck* "Y-Yeah...it was fun."

Barry: "Well, an entire day at Hawaii must have been pretty good..."

Nora: "Well, Hawaii was actually the final stop on our trip-"

Iris: "Is that so~? And where have you two been?"

Nora: "Well, he first brought me to that nice cafè in Paris I always wanted to go to, it was very romantic and...and special *looks at Alex*, then we had a long walk. *looks back at her parents* The next stop was Venice, we had a quiet ride on a boat, just looking at each other's eyes...*realizes what she said, blushes* a-and finally we went to Hawaii, that's all! Nothing more!"

Iris' smirk growed even more, while Barry eyed us suspiciously, mostly me

(F***)

Barry: "Please, tell me you only slept..."

Nora: "..."

Barry: "Nora? Don't tell me you..."

Alex: "It's ok, dad, we used protection."

Nora deadpanned herself, while Iris was desperately trying to hold back her laugh, and Barry just had this shocked expression on his face. I guess being called 'dad' would usually cheer him up, but now it only sounded strange, and not so cheerful I think. But still, who cares? I mean, this thing had to happen sooner or later, it's not like we're in the 80s or something, and we're not even blood related, we're basically them.

Nora: "Dad, don't just stand there with that look, please..."

Iris: "Don't worry, honey, your dad is just a bit surprised, that's all. You two go now, you have an important event to go to."

Alex: "Okay, bye mom, bye dad!"

I took Nora's hand and quickly dragged her out

Nora: "Bye!"

After we closed the door we looked at eachother for a moment, then we started laughing so hard we thought we would die. Then we kissed tenderly and ran to U.A. to participate properly to the sports festival with our friends. As we got inside our class everyone looked at us, pointless to say we were late, and Aizawa didn't like that at all

Aizawa: "Give me a valid reason why you were late and I might give you permission to participate to the festival regardless."

Nora: "We didn't...sleep well..."

Aizawa: "And why is that?"

I thought hard, and I realized there was only one way not to get exonerated

Alex: "We had sex in Hawaii."

Everyone was like "WHAAAAATTT????!!!!" and Nora was a blushing mess, she was very cute

Aizawa: (I don't get paid enough for this) "Ok. Put the gym clothes on everyone, we're going now."

In the locker there were multiple reactions to the news: Kirishima and Kaminari were patting my back and smiling proudly at me, Mineta said, and I quote, ahem "YOU F***ING PIECE OF SHIT! HOW COME YOU GET ALL THE ATTENTION OF THE GIRLS AND I GET NONE???!!!" poor guy...Todoroki was cold and uninterested as usual, Bakugou had this constant angry glare towards me, but he's always angry, so nothing too different from his usual self, and Midoriya...he had an upset look on his face, one of those looks you try desperately not to let people notice, but you fail to hide. Well, he did confess to Nora he liked her. I felt bad for him. Everytime I asked him about what was bothering him - acting like I didn't know to respect him - he would always say it was nothing, and he was the worst when it was about lying, but I didn't insist too much, it wasn't my business, I just hoped that the situation we were in wouldn't ruin our friendship. I just hoped that Nora was having more luck...

Nora POV

While I was getting changed I noticed something in everyone's gazes, something like...a light upset, but in Kyouka's there was something more: sadness. I wondered what was the reason...the only one with a normal expression was Ochaco, so I went near her and asked

Nora: "Hey, Ochaco, do you know why Kyouka seems so sad?"

Ochaco: *embarassed* "Ehm, well...I wouldn't pay too much attention to that Nora..."

Nora: "But I wanna help her."

Ochaco: "Don't worry, she'll be okay in time, now let's move on before Aizawa punishes us."

I couldn't argue with that, but I couldn't understand what Ochaco meant with 'she'll be okay in time'...I hoped it wasn't something I did...

Alex POV

We all were in our uniforms: our costumes weren't allowed due to the fact that they could include enhancers or other things that would give us an unfair advantage against the other opponents. In my case they made an ecception and the tech department made me a heat-resistant uniform that would allow me to run freely without the risk of turning naked in front of all Japan, obviously it had the same colours of the other's uniforms. Everyone of us was gathered in the waiting room, a few of us were talking, others like Midoriya were thinking of possible strategies, while Todoroki was all by himself, as well as Bakugou, but if I knew him he was probably thinking about some creative ways to kill Izuku...or even me, so it wasn't too out of the ordinary to see him like this.

Suddently Todoroki broke the silence

Todoroki: "Alex, Midoriya, I wanna talk to you."

Both confused, we went near him to see what he wanted

Izuku: "What's up, Todoroki? Is everything okay?"

Todoroki: "It's obvious that in this class, we are the strongest ones, so I called you to say this...I challenge you."

Alex: "What?"

Todoroki: "You heard me just fine. I won't be beaten by none of you, I won't let that happen."

Then Kirishima put a hand on his shoulder

Kirishima: "Hey, man, c'mon: no need to create such a rivalry, we're all friends here."

But Todoroki shook off his hand from his shoulder and stared coldly at us

Todoroki: "No, we're not. Today, we are enemies, and I won't hesitate one second to wipe the floor with you. I wanna win this competition, and I will."

After a few tense moments, Izuku spoke with a grin and a look of determination

Izuku: "I too wanna win this competition, and I will do everything in my power to ensure my victory!"

Then the entire room's attention was on me, I firstly looked down, thinking

(This is my chance...my only possibility to prove to myself that I can be a hero. If I win this competition maybe...just maybe...I will become one, and maybe...the nightmares will end)

My nightmares never ended: I kept seeing every single night the exact moment Nora died, sometimes even when I was awake. This event had a deeper meaning to me...it meant more to me than what anybody could ever think, and I wouldn't have lost my only chance of redemption. So I looked at the both of them and said

Alex: "I won't lose."

(Oh no...the worst possible candidate for a moral starting speech...)

Bakugou got on the podium and, after a few moments of silence

Bakugou: "I promise to all of you...that I'll be number one."

(I F***ING KNEW IT!)

Now practically everyone was yelling at us thanks to Bakugou, and I couldn't blame them: I would've done the same if a pumpous arrogant such as him said something like that to me, if I was in another class of course.

Midnight: "Well, good...ahem, now that we have it settled, the great event can commence...let The Sports Festival to finally begi-"

Suddently a loud interference noise interrupted Midnight, and on the biggest screen appeared a strange guy with a huge glass-like purple mask, covering all his face and also working as a respirator from what I could tell

???: "I apologise for the interruption, but I'm afraid this event won't be happening. Let me introduce myself..."

While he talked I could feel a cold chill running down on my spine

AFO: "...I am All For One, and I'm here to do one thing..."

Nora, who was beside me, was trembling in fear, that was the first time I saw her like this

Nora: "Alex, w-what's going on?"

AFO: "...I'm here to say to each one of you pros, and you too, little heroes: we will kill all of you and destroy your school. You better be ready, because we're coming..."

After that the transmission ended, and everyone was staring blankly at the screen

Nora: "Alex..."

I turned my head down on the left, where she was, and looked at her with the same look of fear she wore

Nora: "...what's going on?"

After a few moments, I looked forward, then said

Alex: "The villains declared war to U.A...."

A/N Hi guys! Man a hell of a time passed since the last time I published a new chapter, and I apologise for that: between university and other problems, besides a lack of will, I just couldn't do it. I worked on this chapter for months and finally I'm able to write the final arc of this book, but don't worry: I have plans 😉.
