A few weeks passed since the funeral, and Alex was more than depressed. He didn't feel anything but sadness and guilt. Izuku tried multiple times to comfort him, as well as Barry and Iris, who Alex still didn't have the courage to call 'dad' and 'mom', but nothing worked. He was more distant towards everyone, thinking that the less people he bonded with, the less people would've suffered because of him. Alex didn't tell them much about those 10 months he spent traveling from a place to another, the time he spent with his father, his intense training, nor how he felt. He just couldn't risk to hurt them, nor he was willing to be seen as weak by others, he couldn't help it, it was one of his father's teachings: 'Never show any weakness, or your enemy will take advantage of that'.

What pissed Alex the most is that every single teaching he recieved from Eobard is damn useful and vital for surviving. In that moment he felt guilty also because the one who taught him all these things was the Flash's arch-nemesis, a villain and a murderer, and that it wasn't Barry, the one who adopted him, raised him, and supported him no matter what, how could he have done all this to him?

Suddently Alex heard the doorbell ring, so he went out of his room, crossed Nora's room, walked down the stairs and then he saw Barry open the door. There were All Might and Eraserhead, they greeted us and got inside

All Might: "First of all, we all are very sorry for your loss, Nora was an extraordinary person, I could see her become a true hero."

Eraserhead: "She was an excellent student, you did a great job with her. In a certain way we lost her too."

Barry: "Thank you, I mean that. What can I do for you today?"

All Might: "Actually, we came here to speak with your son, if we may."

Barry: "Yes, of course."

Alex POV

(Why do they want to speak with me? Maybe they want to arrest me for joining in the League operation...yeah, it must be this, and I wouldn't mind...every criminal has to pay for their actions, so it's only fair this way...)

Once we were alone in the living room, All Might spoke

All Might: "As we know you were also there, at the USJ."

(There, I knew it...well, I won't resist when they arrest me.)

"At first we thought you were just one of the villains there, but we all saw how desperately you tried to save Nora, showing the attitude of a true hero."

(Wait a second...what?)

"And because of this we would like to offer you a place in U.A. and in the new dorms. What do say, young man? Do you want to become a hero?"

(A hero, me? I always wanted to become one, I wanted it so desperately, but...)

Alex: "...I am no hero. I was one of those who attacked the USJ, the one who planned everything, it's my fault if you were hurt and if the students were in danger. It's my fault if... *tearing* ...if she died..."

Eraserhead: "You elaborated a plan to ensure that neither the teachers or the student could escape or warn U.A.?"

Alex: *nods* "I shouldn't have trusted that man, if I wouldn't now Nora would be here... *starts crying* just arrest me and get this over with..."

All Might: *pats Alex's shoulder* "We're not arresting you, young man"

Alex: *shocked, raises head* "What? But I've hurt so many people that day, I harmed those who cared for me, as well as you...why aren't you gonna arrest me?"

Eraserhead: "Do you want to become a hero?"

Alex: I...I don't deserve it..."

Eraserhead: "Answer me."

Alex: *nods* "It's the only thing I ever wanted to be...but it's too late now."

All Might: "No, young Allen, it isn't."

Eraserhead: "Even if the things you did were despicable, everyone could tell you were manipulated in some kind of way by that man. Plus, a boy like you who can elaborate such a strategic and intricate plan against his opponents has all the chances to become a great hero someday."

Alex: "Y-You really b-believe that...?"

All Might: "Yes, young Allen, so let me ask you officially... *stands up and puts his hands on his hips in a heroic pose* ...Do you want to become a hero?"

(This is it, isn't it? The moment I've been waiting for all my life...but...)

Alex: "I'll accept on one condition."

Eraserhead: "Which is?"

Alex: "I'll attend classes, as anyone else, but I won't use my powers, nor will I be forced to use them. I caused enough problems..."

All Might: "Conditions accepted, but for the record no one blames you for what happened."

Alex: "I do."

All Might: "All right...be ready for tomorrow to move to the U.A. dorms, pack everything you'll need."

Alex: "Okay."

I was confused

(how could someone trust me after all I've done? It's not like I deserve it, and I'm sure everyone will hate me...)

The next day

I packed everything I would've needed in the dorms along with: my videogames, a few of my favourite books, my sketch book and my guitar, it was too much since I played. Then I brought everything in the living room to get to dress up. I wore black shoes, black jeans, black t-shirt and a black leather jacket, yeah, all black. Then I went to Barry and Iris and hugged them

Iris: "Do you have everything you need? You sure you took it all?"

Alex: "Yeah, Iris, I've got everything."

(She seems to be taken aback by me calling her 'Iris' and not 'mom', but after what happened...I don't know, I don't think I have the right to call them 'mom' and 'dad')

Barry: "It was good to finally have you home, just...don't be a stranger, ok? Come visit us when you can."

Alex: "I will. It was good for me too, I...I missed all of this, and now I'm leaving you again..."

Iris: "Oh no, honey, you're not leaving us. You're making us proud, believe me."

Alex: "But..."

Barry: "No buts, we're happy for you and we're happy that you came back. We love you very much."

Alex: "I love you too."

We hugged again, but I couldn't help but think that I don't deserve any of this. Soon we heard a honk outside, so we understood it was Eraserhead, who promised to come and pick me up today. I said 'bye' to Barry and Iris and went inside the car.

The ride was quiet, I just looked outside the car window, until Eraserhead spoke

Eraserhead: "Now listen, when we are in class, call me 'mr. Aizawa', okay?"

Alex: "Okay."

Aizawa: "My class is a bit loud, but they are good people, they'll make you feel welcomed."

Alex: "Aizawa?"

Aizawa: "Yes?"

Alex: "Why do you believe I can be a hero?"

Aizawa: "Because you never killed anyone, because you desire to be one, because you tried to save Nora, you tried to save someone. Plus, you have a natural talent in creating strategies and fighting, you'll make a good hero."

Alex: "I see...but until I won't believe it myself I won't use my powers, at least not in public."

Aizawa: *smirks* "I like you, kid."

Alex: *laughs a bit*

(Okay, he may seem like a strange guy, but he's nice deep inside...

I'm sorry Nora, I wish things went differently, but I'll change, I'll become who you wanted me to be, a hero. I'll do it...for you)

Finally we arrived in front of the U.A. dorms

(Damn that's a huge building...)

We had already got out of the car and started to head inside. Once there we saw a lot of people standing there and talking, of course I already knew all of them, since at the time I took every info about 1-A

Momo: "So, you heard the news that we're getting a new classmate? I'm really curious to meet him, or her."

Sato: "I wonder if he likes cakes."

Ochaco: "Everyone likes cakes, Sato. I'm curious too, I wonder what quirk does he/her have."

Mina: "I hope it's a guy, and that he's hot! I could use a boyfriend."

Hagakure: "You can say that, Mina!"

Iida: *doing robot gestures* "Let's welcome our new classmate properly when he/her comes!"

Mineta: "I HOPE IT'S A NICE ASS CHIC-"

Asui: *slaps him with tongue* "I also wander what interests he/she might have."

Mina: "What do you say, Kyouka?"

Kyouka: "I dunno, I mean yeah I'm curious but, as far as we know, we could end up with an idiot like Kaminari."

Kaminari: "Hey!"

(Ahahaha...okay, she's funny, I guess it's time to announce my presence.)

Alex: "Don't worry, I'm no idiot. And I'm sorry, grape guy, no chic for you today."

Everyone: *turns around, shocked*

Girls: *blushes* (OMG HE'S HOOOOTT!!!)

Boys: (F********CK THE GIRLS FIND HIM HOOOT!)

Izuku: "Alex!" *rushes to hug him*

Alex: "Hey, Izuku! *hugs him back* everything good?"

Izuku: "Yeah."

Aizawa: "Good morning class, this is your new classmate, make him feel welcomed, bye."

Alex: "Hi everyone, I'm Alexander Allen (I hate to lie about my name, but it's safer this way), but you can call me Alex."

Everyone: "Hi, Alex!"

Alex: "So, is anyone gonna help me find my room or I'm supposed to stand here?"

Girls: "I'll help you!" (OMG HE'S HOT!)

(These girls...)

Alex: "Let's go, Izuku."

Izuku: "Huh, oh yeah."

(It's gonna be a loooong year)

Izuku: "Here's your room. Take your time to settle in, this is a day off for all of us, as well as tomorrow. Do you need help?"

Alex: "No, thanks, I'll finish in a minute. Hey man, is...everything alright between us?"

Izuku: "Yes, Alex. I know you were not yourself."

Alex: "I don't understand: I've threatened your mother and forced you to avoid Nora, how can you forgive me, when not even I can?"

Izuku: "Because I know you, Alex, and we're friends." *smiles*

Alex: *slightly laughs* "You're a dork, but I'm glad to be your friend."

Izuku: "Same here, Alex." *hugs him*

Alex: *hugs back*

Izuku: *gets outside the room, closing the door, gets in the common room*

Girls (except Ochaco): "MIDORIYAAAAA!" *rush to him*

Izuku: "AAAHHH!! Oh it's you girls, what do you need?"

Mina: "Who's that hot bomb of a guy?????"

Izuku: "You mean Alex?"

Girls: "YES!!!"

Izuku: "He's a childhood friend of mine, he's very nice."

Hagakure: "What does he like??"

Alex: *appears behind Izuku* "Books, videogames, music and silence, why?"

Girls: "AAHHHH!"

Alex: "Did I mention silence?"

Girls: "SORRY!"

Alex: "It's nothing."

Kyouka: (wait, did he say he's into music? Does he play an instrument too?)

Momo: (he said books, I wonder what genre he's into...)

Mina: (wait, videogames? I'm not used to them...but maybe he can teach me???)

Alex: "Am I the only one who finds this situation awkward?"

Asui: (he speaks his mind like me...)

Alex: "So, do you have any questions?"

(I'm soooo going to regret asking...)
