Mabel Goes Psycho
Gideon had been waiting with anticipation for the good news that Pacifica was supposed to bring him. He had sat on the couch counting the seconds by while Ducktective was playing. Finally, at around seven-thirty Pacifica strolled through the front door. Gideon was off the couch and in front of her before she could even take her shoes off.
"How'd it go?" Asked an anxious Gideon. He held his breath while waiting for a somewhat overwhelmed Pacifica to answer. She rolled her eyes at him, as she slipped off her laser lime converses.
"She took it very well, you never had anything to worry about anyways" Pacifica responded, as Gideon exhaled with relief. The pair then walked into the messy living room where they plopped on the couch to finish the episode of Ducktective. As they were watching the show something plagued Gideon's self consciousness. The devil on his shoulder told him he did the right thing, but his angel counter part was unimpressed with Gideon. Should he have been the one to break it off with Mabel?
Mabel slammed the front door with enough force to shake the mansion which of course caught her younger twin's attention.
"What happened?" Dipper asked irritatedly. Mabel didn't answer at first because she was too busy destroying everything in sight. Mabel's fits were never good, they always resulted in catastrophe, so Dipper usually tried to avoid his sister when this happened. Tonight was an exception because he knew that her anger had something to do with Gideon.
"That stupid girl got in the way of me and my sweet Gideon" Mabel shrieked. It was then that Dipper notice her eyes were stained with tears. Mabel often through fits and tantrums, but she never cried. It was enough to soften Dipper's ice cold expression, if only for a moment. "I'm going to slaughter her" Mabel said. Rage was eminating from her like smoke from a fire.
"Mabel you need to think this through. We need the journal first, then we can kill whoever we want because we will be gods among humans" Dipper tried to reason with her. His words fell on deaf ears.
"It's always about the journal with you!" Mabel exclaimed angrily. "You don't get it, Pacifica ruined the only real relationship I've ever had" Mabel told Dipper. Her words hit him in the heart, if he had one. He was Mabel's brother! Did their relationship not matter to her.
"Fine do whatever you want. See if I care!" Dipper shouted at her. He stormed up to his room, and Mabel did the same. While Dipper stressed about his strained relationship with his sister, Mabel plotted her revenge on an unsuspecting Pacifica.
It was Robbie's day off which meant that someone had to watch the gift shop, and that someone was Pacifica. After flipping a coin that did not end up in Pacifica's favor Gideon got the day off, and he went to study his journal somewhere in the forest. It was in the afternoon and not a single guest had visited the entire day which left Pacifica with nothing to do. She was so overjoyed when the phone started to ring, that she knocked over the phone trying to answer it. Finally she got the phone in her grasp.
"Hello?" She asked. It was the first human interaction she had had all day.
"Hey Pacifica" came the reply. It was a feminine voice that left Pacifica confused. Who could possibly know that she had answered the phone? You would have to be psychic. Oh wait... "It's Mabel I was wondering if you would like to hang out later today?" Mabel asked in a sweet tone. Pacifica literally had nothing better to do, plus she liked making new friends. Who knows? Maybe her and Mabel will be bffs.
"I'd love to hang out. When and where?" Pacifica asked unable to keep her excitement in. Mabel seemed happy too because Pacifica could hear her laughter over the phone. It was a psychotic blood crazed laugh that would put fear into any sane person's heart, but Pacifica knew everyone had their fair share of quirks.
"How about we meet at my family's warehouse, where we can do makeovers" Mabel suggests. Pacifica's heart skipped a beat. She loved makeovers!
"That's a great idea! Where's your warehouse?" Pacifica asked while grabbing a notepad to write down the address. Mabel gave her the address, and they agreed to meet around four. Pacifica decided to close the gift shop early, so she could get ready. It's not like they were getting any customers anyways. Finally at around three Pacifica left to meet up with Mabel.
Gideon had moved from the forest to the library to learn about a new monster that he had read about in the journal. The problem was that the author had put very little information about the monster in his journal. All Gideon really knew was that it was called a hide behind, and it was extremely hard to find. Gideon perked up as he heard the bell ring behind him. Robbie had entered the library, looking as nerdy as ever. Usually Gideon would be too focused on his journal to notice, but today something was bothering him.
"Pssst, Robbie! Can I ask you for advice?" Gideon whisper shouted. Robbie sat down next to him and, gave him a concerned look.
"Sure Gideon you can always come to me" Robbie replied seriously. Gideon nodded, ready to relieve his mind and conscience of the weight that had burdened him all day. Gideon explained his situation about Mabel, and the further he got into the story the more horrified Robbie's face became. By the time Gideon was done telling his story Robbie just shook his head in dismay.
"Did I do the right thing?" Gideon asked even though he already knew the answer just by looking at Robbie's expression.
"Gideon, I can honestly say that I've never had a girlfriend, and even I know that you should have broke up with her yourself" Gideon winced at the painful truth Robbie had delivered him. Gideon realized he had made a mistake. With new found resolve Gideon decided he would go to the Gleeful manor to apologize for not breaking up with Mabel in person.
"Thanks Robbie, you're right I have to fix things with Mabel" Gideon said, getting up to leave.
Pacifica followed Mabel's instructions until she found what looked like an old beaten down warehouse. She heaved the double doors open. When she stepped into the building she was greeted by the warm dry air that had been stored in the stuffy warehouse. The stench of blood tickled her nose as she noticed how dark it was in the warehouse. Then the doors behind her slammed shut. She was completely surrounded by the pitch black darkness, that is until three cyan colored lights flashed into existence. That's when she felt the sharp pain scrape across her cheek while a warm liquid trickled down her skin. Horror struck Pacifica like lightning.
"Hello Pacifica" greeted a feminine voice. Pacifica recognized it instantaneously.
"Mabel? What's going on here?" Pacifica asked confused by the pain stinging her cheek.
"How long have you been here Pacifica Southeast?" It was a rhetorical question asked by a wicked witch. "One week, two weeks?" Mabel continued. "Maybe you don't understand how this works. I. Always. Get. What. I. Want." With every word Mabel inched forward, until Pacifica could see the murderous intent in her eyes. Pacifica was trembling on the inside, but she refused to let Mabel see her fear.
"Is this about Gideon?" Pacifica asked trying to sound as fearless as she could. Rage glowed in Mabel's blue eyes.
"HE LOVED ME UNTIL YOU GOT IN THE WAY!" Mabel wailed. She slapped Pacifica and sent her flying across the room. For Pacifica the pain was only beginning.
The doorbell is what woke Dipper up. He lazily dragged himself down the stairs to the door. Slowly he opened the door to find Gideon Pines standing in the doorway. His expression darkened, yet neither smile nor frown crossed his lips.
"I came to see Mabel" Gideon said firmly. At that moment Dipper realized Mabel's absence from the mansion. His face immediately paled. She could only be in a couple places, and one of them would not be good for Dipper's plans.
"She is probably at our warehouse, the address is 412 Gopher road, and I would hurry if I were you" Dipper stated expressionless. Gideon nodded and left in a dead sprint. Dipper closed the door and went up to his bedroom to get ready. Today was going to be a long day.
More screeching pain. More blood. Pacifica was getting weaker, cut after cut. She felt like she was going to pass out, but she wanted to hold on because if she passed she might never wake up. Pacifica's screams of pain were music to Mabel's ears. Mabel grinned a wicked grin as she slashed up Pacifica's body. One on the arm, one on the leg, one on the face. Mabel kept hacking away at Pacifica's damaged body. Mabel was about to thrust the blade into Pacifica's eye when they were interrupted by Gideon's arrival.
"Mabel stop!" He shouted. Horror resided in his eyes as he saw Pacifica's bloody figure. It was a scene taken from a horror movie, and Gideon had no idea what to do. Pacifica looked somewhat relieved to see him, but she was still clearly in pain.
"Gideon! It's not what it looks like!" Mabel shouted deliriously. Gideon froze at the sound of her voice. What was he supposed to do? Mabel was clearly unstable. If he said anything wrong she could kill them both.
"Mabel I came to apologize for not breaking up with you in person because I thought you deserved that at least" Gideon said firmly. Mabel collapsed as if the whole weight of the world had just been forced on her.
"Why?" She asked no one in particular. Gideon sighed, he knew what he had to do.
"We can still be friends right?" Gideon asked trying to sound as genuine as he could. It worked because color immediately returned to Mabel's face.
"Really?" She asked rushing over to him. Gideon used this as an opportunity to rip the knife from Mabel's hands.
"No, not really!" Gideon shouted, scowling at Mabel. "You tried to kill my best friend! What's wrong with you!?" He continued angrily. Realization hit Mabel's face, quicker than a bullet hitting it's target.
"She came between us!" Mabel shouted, trying to defend herself. Gideon shook his head.
"No Mabel, you came between us" Gideon said. Mabel pushed Gideon aside, and grabbed the knife off the floor. Mabel charged towards Pacifica ready to kill. She raised the knife above her head, aiming for Pacifica's heart. As she plunged the knife downwards something happened. A loud noise echoed through the warehouse. Then all at once the knife flew out of Mabel's hand and Pacifica's cuts were completely healed.
"Mabel stop!" The voice came from behind them. Gideon, Pacifica, and Mabel turned to see who it was. Dipper Gleeful. A scowl formed on his face.
"Brother! It's there faults!" Mabel said, but Dipper looked completely, and totally unimpressed. His piercing blue eyes bored into Mabel.
"We're leaving. Now" venom leaked from his voice. Mabel turned to take one last look at Gideon and Pacifica before leaving. After she left the warehouse Dipper remained. "Gideon Pines, there are secrets in this town that you cannot possibly comprehend, so I suggest you stay away from us" Dipper said. Before Gideon could respond he was already gone.

"Why won't you let me kill them!" Mabel screamed at Dipper. They were back in the mansion. Stan was already asleep.
"Patience sister, we will kill them, but not until we have the journal" Dipper said calmly. He walked away at a brisk pace, and Mabel followed him. He walked down to their basement. As they descended the creaky stairs Mabel wondered what they were doing down there. Then she heard the rattle of chains. A smile formed across her face. Dipper reached the bottom of the stairway. "William your time has come"
