Mabel sat there swirling her french fry in ketchup. She couldn't believe that any of this was happening still. First young friends, now no home. Great. That's when Mabel thought of something. Earlier Randy and Grendon had said she was the richest person in Gravity Falls. Rich meant she had a huge house. Maybe they weren't doomed for long! "You guys!" Mabel said loudly. "What's up ham bone?" Soos asked. "I know a place where we can stay! I'm rich here so I must have a manor of some sort." Mabel replied.

"Mabel you're a genius!" Stan complemented. "Why thanks friend!" Mabel winked. She turned to where Dipper was still sitting shocked. "Bro Bro! Let's go go. You too Bill." She called. Mabel then walked up to the counter of the diner. "Um Hi! I was wondering if you knew the way to my Mansion."

"Wow! Ain't she a beauty." Wendy said in awe as they came up to the fancy gates of The Pines Manor. "I clean up nicely." Mabel smiled. The huge gates locked behind them. "This place is uhhh gonna take me awhile to get used to it." Dipper said. "Relax Pinetree. Anything can happen at The Pines Manor." Bill smiled. "That's what I'm afraid of." Dipper answered. Mabel led them to the big double doors that opened up to reveal a nice open area that branched off to a nice dining room. There was even a staircase leading upwards. "Where to begin?" Stan asked. "With this." Dipper replied pulling out Journal #3. "Good thing this is still here. Maybe we can get some answers."

Everyone sat down and began flipping through the journal. "Let's see, ghosts, mirrors, spells, aha! Portals." Dipper smiled finding a page on portals. After a moment of reading Soos said, "Dudes this is intense." Finally the silence broke. "Ugh. Nothing. It says the only way to open a portal is to conjure up one which none of us did." "This sucks." Wendy sighed. "This is depressing really. I'm going out for a walk." Bill said standing up.

"Get hit by a bus." Stan mumbled. "I'll try." Bill answered smiling. "BE nice to each other." Mabel scolded. After a few more minutes of thinking Soos spoke up. "Why don't we try to think of where in this world that ray gun came from."

"That's actually a good Idea Soos." Dipper replied. "Maybe it came from the author's bunker. Or even that time traveler guy! Who knows." Mabel said. Dipper shrugged. "Look kids, it's getting late and we've been looking for answers all day. Let's just start fresh tomorrow." Stan said. "Sounds good." Mabel stretched. Everyone split up to go explore the manor. It was pretty sweet that this mansion was theirs.

Dipper wandered around for a bit when he saw Wendy sitting on a couch in the living area. He went and sat next to her. "How's it hanging?" Dipper asked. "Meh. This house is cool though." Wendy replied. "Heh yeah. So, what did you do when you were 12?" He replied.

"I mostly did outdoors things. Plus those Lumberjack competitions." Wendy laughed. "You can add this to your year book." Dipper laughed. "Yeah. Although it was pretty weird to see Robbie. I mean what if he tries to ask me out? It'd be weird since we're here ya know." Wendy said. "I won't let that happen. As long as I'm here, I will get us out of here." Dipper replied determinedly. Wendy looked at him.

"Wow. You're willing to do so much for us. That's really sweet Dipper." She said. "Oh r-really?" Dipper blushed. "Yeah. Now I don't know about you but I'm beat. Goodnight Dip." Wendy smiled and flipped his hat a little. Dipper smiled and watched her go. As soon as she went Mabel came around the corner. "Hey! I saw that. Nice." She smiled. Dipper waved her off and smiled. He was pretty happy he got to have a moment. Anything could happen in The Pines Manor.
