"earth to kwon soonyoung, your ice cream is melting."

soonyoung lets out a deep sigh and moves his cone closer to jihoon, "just eat it if you want it." the younger furrows his brows and instantly frowns. "hey no fair," he says, "stop talking fast when you know i can't hear you very well."

soonyoung turns to take a look once more before showing jihoon his signature pout. then he looks away the moment he feels the ice cream slowly drip down his fingers as it melted. now he's left with no choice but to eat it as fast as he can while jihoon laughs at him.

"that's what you get for not eating it sooner," jihoon mumbles then wipes his fingers with his handkerchief, "ew! i forgot you used this!"

soonyoung didn't expect to laugh so hard that he almost choked on his food. he quickly moves away when jihoon attempts to wipe his fingers on his jacket so they end up running around that small parking space in front of the convenience store. jihoon enjoys feeling the cold air brush against his skin as he tries to chase soonyoung (while complaining about how unfair it is that his legs are short)

their laughter is the only thing they could hear as they run in circles, not until soonyoung stops to avoid bumping another person. but jihoon ends up crashing onto him, causing the ice cream cone to fall off the older's hand.

"oh...hey jun," soonyoung awkwardly greets the boy he almost bumped. the student raises his sharp brows and instantly flashes a smile, "oh hey it's you!" he says in a cheerful tone, "funny running into you here...and i see you're with someone, hm?"

"what?" soonyoung asks, then remembers jihoon who is just standing beside him. "oh right uh, this is jihoon," he introduces. junhui smiles at the smaller boy and extends his arm for a handshake, "hello, i'm wen junhui and like soonyoung, i'm from the music club too. i'm the pianist, in case you're wondering," he proudly says.

jihoon shakes the boy's hand with a small smile on his face then immediately stares at his friend because he didn't understand a single thing. he stays clueless about the whole conversation, even when junhui asks if he's soonyoung's boyfriend, which he still didn't get right away so soonyoung decides to answer.

"yes," soonyoung says, "jihoon is my boyfriend."

"i knew it! congratulations on that, bro," junhui cheers as he gives soonyoung a bunch of playful punches, "i'll be going now then. i don't wanna ruin your sweet time."

jihoon waves goodbye at the boy as he walks off then cranes his head to soonyoung's direction.

"so," he mumbles, "what did you two talk about?"

"that's not important," soonyoung speaks along with a few hand signals, "what's important is that my ice cream fell and i have nothing to eat anymore." jihoon looks down on the ice cream cone and shrugs, "let's just buy another one. come on!" he grabs the boy's hand to drag him to the store but at the same time, soonyoung's arm makes its way around jihoon's waist to pull him back.

"no, it's cold anyway. just keep me warm."

jihoon chuckles at the taller's hand signals for it's obvious that it makes him have an excuse to act cute. the younger couldn't resist it though, so he leans forward for a hug and hums a sweet tune. soonyoung couldn't help but hold jihoon closer and plant a kiss on top of his head. and a few more minutes, he pulls away from the hug then links his fingers into the boy's hand as they dance under the dim streetlight.

"hey, i think i love you," soonyoung whispers. of course, jihoon didn't hear.
