Third Person's P.O.V :-

Taehyung was fiddling with his fingers while sitting on a bench, seemingly in deep thoughts when Yoongi came up to him

"Look, whatever strategy you had planned, it's clearly not working....." He stated with a poker face

"I know!" Taehyung snapped up but then he realized whom he was talking to....

"Sorry for that....." He apologized looking downwards

Yoongi sighed and sat beside him as he drank some glucose water

"I know the frustration you are feeling now.....I hate to say this but Jungkook is really good at this game..." He confessed looking at the red bottle in his hand

"Isn't there anyway to win? Just for once?" Taehyung asked desperately looking at the empty field

"There is...."

Taehyung looked at Yoongi

"Jungkook got the ball in the first half, so we'll be getting the ball this time, I can easily make one basket if I get the ball but that'll be it, I don't know what to do after that to score three other points....." Yoongi said and took a sip from the bottle

"I'll bring you the ball"

Taehyung said looking at Yoongi,"But you have to promise that you'll score everytime"

Yoongi looked at him for a bit before slowly nodding,"I promise..."

Beep!

Yoongi caught the ball and immediately ran towards the basket, ditching every attack with smooth footwork and flexible turns

He jumped and at once the ball went inside the basket

"Yes!" Taehyung jostled in excitement

"It's too early to celebrate"

Taehyung turned to see Jungkook smirking at him

He simply turned back and walked to where Jimin stood helplessly watching

"Hey..."

Jimin looked at him,"Taehyung?"

He walked closer and whispered in his ear,"I need your help, at most we can score other two points so it'll be a tie, can you tell me any of his weaknesses to use on him during the tiebreaker? Anything? Just to distract him?" He leaned back only to see a thoughtful expression on his face

"There is only one thing that can distract him but I'd need a little time for that....." He said looking a bit doubtful

Taehyung nodded,"Please try your best, if we win we'll making a history" and with a light pat on Jimin's shoulder, he was gone....

The teacher whistled and a member of Black Panthers, who was standing under the basket started to bounce the ball and the triangle strategy once again began.....

'I think I got it! Maybe I can break it now!' Taehyung thought realizing the flaw in that strategy

The member kept on running while bouncing the ball, going towards someone he'd pass the ball to.

"You three!" Taehyung called the three members of his team

"Create a barrier around him!" He commanded

And now that sole member of the Black Panthers was surrounded by the three members of Yellow Tigers

"What are they trying to pull off?" Some random boy standing beside Jungkook asked while frowning

Jungkook gave him a single glance and looked back at center again, equally confused.....

"Hoshi! Keep following the strategy!" Another boy yelled from Jungkook's team

The boy with red hair looked back at them and nodded, he bounced the ball a few times before ducking it between his legs and sending it out of the barrier, towards his team mate who was standing behind him

"Not so soon!"

And before anyone could understand it Taehyung was already running away with the ball bouncing up and down with him

"Yoongi!" He yelled and passed him the ball

Yoongi smirked and took the ball from his hold, same pattern, same moves and same secured basket

Beep!

"Yellow Tigers 1 point"

Taehyung looked up at the score board

Black Panthers : 3
Yellow Tigers : 2

'I just need one more point and I'll earn my team a tiebreaker but the question is how? Jungkook surely won't let his team mates make the same mistake again.....' Taehyung harshly bit down on his bottom lip

"Hey!"

Taehyung looked sideways only to see Jackson jogging up towards his direction

"It's you....." He whispered as Jackson stopped in front of him

"Yeah, I just wanna say that you and Yoongi did an amazing job!" He smiled

Taehyung was silently looking at him when a thought came to his mind

"You said you were a part of gymnastic club in childhood, right?" He suddenly asked

Jackson's smile faltered a bit,"Yeah....why do you ask?"

"Can you flip over a person?"

"Jungkook....."

Jungkook turned around to see Hoshi coming up to stand beside him

"The new student broke our triangle strategy, what should we do now?" He asked fairly worried

Jungkook gritted his teeth,"We can not afford another basket, change of plan Hoshi, surround Yoongi and that new kid, don't even miss a single gap....." He said glaring heatedly at the back of Taehyung's skull

"Understood, Jungkook"

"Are you sure of this?" Yoongi asked eyeing Jackson warily

"We don't have any other choice left, I'm pretty sure Jungkook will block us now so we need a backup striker to score a basket in the little time we have left..." Taehyung said

"Do you think you can do it?" Yoongi asked Jackson this time

"I can try my best, that's the least I can do for the team....." He said with determination

Yoongi smiled while Taehyung patted his shoulder

"That's all I needed to hear, do your best"

Jackson smiled

Beep!

Taehyung easily snatched away the ball from the hand of his opponent but what happened next shocked him

There were six boys surrounding him, blocking his every way out.....

He looked to the side, Yoongi was in the same condition or even worse, Jungkook himself was blocking him.....

Taehyung was standing right across the basket

But the distance was too much....

Could he score one point by throwing the ball from that distance?

Taehyung had only seen Jungkook being able to do it....

Was he able to do that as well?

He quickly looked at Yoongi to ask permission

Yoongi caught his graze and concluded what he meant...

His eyes widened as he thought twice

'Will he be able to do it?' Yoongi was paranoid but non the less he screamed

"DO IT!!"

Instantly Jungkook whipped his head around and froze on his spot as he witnessed Taehyung jumping up in the air and shooting the ball towards the basket...

The entire field froze, anticipating the next move....

Everything was happening in slow motion for Jimin as he witnessed the entire event

Taehyung was still in the air while the ball hit the wall of the pole and reflected back.....

A miss shot...

The members of Black Panthers had only started cheering when Taehyung suddenly screamed

"JACKSON, NOW!!!"

Out of no where someone flipped from over one boy and caught the ball in middle air

That was Jackson, Jimin recognized....

He started running towards the basket in full speed before anyone could recover from the sudden change of events

Jimin looked at the timer

10 seconds left...

Jackson was still two yards away from the basket

'Will he make it?!' Jimin took two anxious steps forward

5 seconds...

He was one yard away...

3 seconds....

He had jumped towards the basket mid way, shooting the ball towards it...

2 seconds....

The ball is only one hand away from the basket...

1 second....

The ball went inside.

Time's up.

Beeeeeeeeeeep!!!!!

"It's a tie between Black Panthers and Yellow Tigers we will have a tiebreaker"

Black Panthers : 3
Yellow Tigers : 3

Jackson grinned so hard as he saw the score board

"I DID IT, YESSSS!!!!!" He squealed

Suddenly all of his team mates jumped on him and cheered, even Taehyung and Yoongi

Jackson was having the time of his life

"Jungkook...."

"Shut up! We'll win in the tiebreaker, stop whining" Jungkook snapped and walked away

"Yo Chim! Did you guys win this time?!"

Jimin turned to see Lisa standing behind the steel fence

"Lisa!" He ran up to her

"Why are the Yellow Tigers cheering? Did your team won this time?!" Lisa asked in glee

"No but we had a tiebreaker so there is a fifty fifty chance that we'll win" Jimin said

"Wow!! A tiebreaker?!" She asked bewildered but then she caught Taehyung in Yellow Tigers jersey

"Omo! Taehyung Oppa is in your team?! No wonder you came so far!!!"

And that statement alone was enough to make Jimin's eyebrow twich violently

"Yah!!! Stop calling Taehyung Oppa-......."

"What?" Lisa asked looking at Jimin weirdly

"Um, can you do me a favor, Lisa?"

"Sure, what's that?"

"In this tiebreaker, Each member of either team will shoot the ball inside the basket from two yards away, the one team who will be able to make a basket in the shortest time will win" The teacher announced and the match started

"First up Min Yoongi from Yellow Tigers"

Yoongi came forward and shoot the ball within the basket in the least time possible

7 seconds....

Beep!

"Next up Jeon Jungkook from Black Panthers"

Taehyung ran towards Jimin,"I told you to-"

"Done" Jimin grinned as he looked up at him

Taehyung frowned,"What did you do?"

"Oh I didn't do anything but you'll see what happens" Jimin gave a toothy smile and looked ahead as Taehyung followed his graze

Jungkook bounced the ball on the floor a few times and jumped.

Just as he was about to shoot, an ear piecing shout was heard

"JUNGKOOK OPPA DO YOUR BEST!!!!"

Jungkook's eyes widened as he immediately looked at the direction of that yell

His shooting angle faltered.

The ball missed the basket.

The field went in pin drop silence....

Jeon Jungkook, the King of Basketball, missed a shot

Beeeeeep!!!

"Yellow Tigers won the match!!!"
