Third Person's P.O.V :-

Taehyung picked up his backpack that he's been preparing and looked up at the smiling picture of Taeri with a conflicted face

"Noona...." Taehyung whispered and exhaled a deep breath

"You understand, right?" He looked down and flung the backpack over his shoulder as he walked out of his sister's bedroom

Downstairs, Jimin was playing with a paperweight at the dinning table as he waited for Taehyung to show up with his stuffs

"Jimin"

Jimin looked up and saw Taehyung standing on the base of the stairs

He slowly got up from his seat and stared at Taehyung's tight leather pants and denim jacket that he wore over a simple white t-shirt, he smiled at Taehyung,"Ready to head out?"

Taehyung kept on giving him an uneasy look,"Are we really doing this?" He asked

"Yes, Tae, we are" Jimin walked towards him and held him by the shoulders,"Both of us can be together now" Saying that Jimin rested his forehead against Taehyung's forehead and exhaled a breath

"But where are we gonna go?" Taehyung asked while frowning

Jimin leaned away and looked at Taehyung's eyes,"Are you worried, Tae?" He asked as he caressed his cheeks

Taehyung looked at the floor and softly nodded his head,"I'm just worried about our future...." He trailed off

Jimin made Taehyung face him by the chin as he gazed fondly at him,"It's only natural to be worried, Tae, I understand how you might be feeling but I want you to believe that everything's gonna work out"

"H-how...?" Taehyung asked as he searched Jimin's eyes for answers

"I've been offered a scholarship from Camberwell College of Arts" Jimin stated

Taehyung's eyes widened,"Tha-That's in-"

"Europe" Jimin smiled,"I have some money and credit cards with me, just enough to afford plane tickets and reach the university dorms, I can get a part-time job there and then everything's gonna be okay"

Taehyung bit his lips,"I don't know...it sounds like too much risk" He whispered as he refused to meet Jimin's eyes

"Hey" Jimin asked as he hugged Taehyung tightly,"You trust me, right?"

Taehyung leaned into the hug and closed his eyes,"Yes" He took a deep breath,"I trust you" He said again

"Then just come with me, Tae, I'll take care of everything" Came Jimin's muffed voice as he nuzzled Taehyung's neck

Taehyung's hands went and entangled themselves into Jimin's hair

"Ok" He whispered out

Taehyung gave one last look at the fridge where he'd secretly stuck his goodbye note and stepped out of the house

He walked down the stairs as he heard Jimin's car engine coming to life

Reaching the car he dumped his backpack in the backseat and took his seat beside Jimin

Taehyung sat motionlessly while looking out through the car window as he watched the surroundings of his house fading behind

Jimin looked at Taehyung from the corner of his eyes and caught the growing frown on his face

Jimin carefully reached out his left hand while not moving his eyes from the road as he grabbed Taehyung's right hand which was resting over his lap

Startled, Taehyung looked at Jimin only to see him smile as he drove

"Jimin.." Taehyung whispered

"I can tell something's bothering you" Jimin stated and gave a quick glance at him,"I can understand that you never intended for me to find out like this but we can't predict the future right?" He smiled and looked back at the road

"And I understand, Tae...Jungkook can be unpredictable sometimes...I..." Jimin's smile faltered a bit,"I was a bit sad at first but I can understand what could have led to what" He whispered and pulled over to the side

Taehyung was looking at Jimin with wide eyes,"Wha-what....?"

Jimin turned towards Taehyung,"I'm not upset anymore" Jimin said again,"I've been with Jungkook for a lot of years now, he has this weird habit of blackmailing people into doing something that they normally wouldn't do, I understand" He stated and caressed his hand

"We love each other, Tae, I'm not willing to break our relationship up because of Jungkook" Jimin said with a determined face,"You did something bad but your entire being screams that you regret it, so I'm willing to stay with you and this time nobody will interrupt us"

Jimin leaned in and gave Taehyung a kiss on the forehead,"Because I love you" He smiled and started the engine again

Taehyung sat in his seat, frozen to the core as he analyzed what Jimin just said

Taehyung looked down at his lap as his bangs covered his eyes

There was only one thing going on inside his head....

'He still doesn't know who I am..'

It had been two hours since Taehyung and Jimin had that conversation.

The sky was starting to get darker and they still hadn't reached Seoul

Taehyung was having a conflict inside his head

'Should I tell him...?' He asked himself mentally and looked over at Jimin

He was in such a good mood while he jammed to the songs on the radio

'Or should I just let it be like how it is now...?' Taehyung sighed quietly and looked out

'I don't want to keep him in the dark but at the same time I don't want to tell him the truth too...I..' Taehyung kept on looking out with strained eyes

'I'm so afraid of the possibility of him leaving me...' Taehyung bit his lips

"Are you okay?"

Taehyung turned towards Jimin only to see he was looking at him worriedly

"Ye-yeah... I'm fine" Taehyung whispered with a somewhat forced voice

Jimin's concern didn't go away,"Are you hungry? Do you wanna grab some food?" He asked

Taehyung only gulped and nodded,"I'd like some food"

Jimin laughed,"You should have told me sooner, Tae, how would I know if you don't tell me!" He chuckled and started to search for some restaurant

Least to say, Jimin's last sentence didn't make Taehyung feel any good.

"Here" Jimin said handing Taehyung a takeout package and getting inside the car again

Taehyung sat quietly with the package in his lap as Jimin rounded the car and got into the driver's seat

Jimin looked at Taehyung's still form and frowned again,"Tae?" He asked as he held Taehyung's right shoulder

Taehyung looked at Jimin and tried his best to smile,"I'm perfectly fine if you're worried"

That statement did nothing to seize Jimin concern,"But you're not eating, I thought you were hungry...." He trailed off before scooting closer and cupping Taehyung's face in his palms

"If something's bothering you, just tell me" Jimin whispered sincerely

Taehyung looked at him with an hesitant face

"Then why don't you tell him everything and see how he reacts?"

Taehyung's eyes scanned Jimin's face closely before he finally sighed,"Can we go somewhere quiet and stop a bit there?" He asked,"I want to tell you something" He added

To which Jimin just nodded and started the car.

Both Jimin and Taehyung got down from the car and stepped into, what it seemed like was, sand.

The amount of traveling that they had done that day, Taehyung guessed that they were somewhere near the beach areas of Gangneung.

Taehyung looked ahead and sure enough he could spot a small glimpse of the sea in the distance

However, from the corner of his eye, he could feel that Jimin was watching him intently throughout the whole time

He started to sweat slightly as he turned and gave Jimin a cheerful smile,"Isn't the view beautiful? I've been wanting to visit a beach for sometime now" Taehyung tried to make the conversation light-hearted but Jimin's intense gaze did not weaver

Jimin took some steps forward and grabbed Taehyung by the elbow as he spun him around to face him.

"Enough, Taehyung" Jimin finally said,"Just tell me what it is" He demanded

Taehyung looked down sadly concluding for the last time if telling Jimin the truth was even worth it..

'He's bound to find out someday....so why waste time? I....I know that's he's going to understand, it's better to just tell him the truth, I love him after all...' Taehyung thought and pressed his lips tight together

"Jimin-ah....remember I once told you that I wanted to tell you something about my family?" Taehyung asked nervously

Jimin's frowning face started to get curious,"Yeah.." He answered

"I..." Taehyung started and turned away from Jimin as he faced the direction of the sea

"I used to have a sister..." He looked down at the beach,"Her name was Taeri"

Thud!

Taehyung's eyes widened as he heard the sound of something colliding with the ground and turned towards Jimin...

Only to see a frightened look on his face and the package of the takeout lying on the ground

Seeing that look on Jimin's face, Taehyung's eyes started widening

"Tae-Taeri..." Jimin whispered that name in absolute horror as he started to shake slightly

He took a step towards Jimin to touch him, to calm him down but in response Jimin jumped two steps back

"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" He yelled as he got into his fighting stance

'Oh no...' Taehyung bit his lips in frustration as he witnessed the scene unfolding in front of him

"I-it all makes sense now..." Jimin whispered as he stared at him with a judging gaze

Taehyung's stilled in his spot,"Wha-what...?" He asked dreadfully

Jimin looked at his fists and started to speak the loose ties his mind just connected

"Staying behind that hill where Taeri's house used to be, resembling her so much in appearance, transfering into our school in the middle of the year..." He whispered and looked up at Taehyung with unbelievable eyes

"Affair with Jungkook and a relationship with me..." He whispered the last part as his eyes grew more wide,"It was a plan all along wasn't it?!" He yelled

Taehyung flinched at Jimin's harsh tone and whimpered,"Ji-Jimin listen to m-"

"You're here to finish what your sister left off!" Jimin yelled again as he stepped back,"You're a traitor!" He yelled out in disgust

Tears started to gather in the corners of Taehyung's eyes,"Do-don't say tha-that" He stuttered,"I-I...I love you, Ji-Jimin" He confessed, near tears.

"LOVE?!" Jimin exclaimed in sarcasm,"You're a traitor!" He screamed at Taehyung angrily

Tears rolled down Taehyung's cheeks,"Do-don't say tha-that..." He whimpered

Jimin fell down on his knees and knelt over the sand as his shoulders shook violently, indicating the heart wrenching sobs

"I-I can't believe I-" He hiccuped,"Fell for someone like you!" He yelled out the last part and looked up at a crying Taehyung

"I was planning my future life with you! That's how much I loved you! I was willing to leave my entire world behind for you and you!" Jimin looked at Taehyung with pure disgust

"Turns out you were planning on destroying my life..." Jimin laughed bitterly,"So ironic" He whispered in lamentation

Taehyung was crying in his hands as he covered his face

Jimin got up from his kneeling position and gave Taehyung a hard glare,"I should hand you to the police" Jimin stated

Taehyung heart stopped for a moment as he looked at Jimin's emotionless face

His Jimin, the person he loved so much, was considering handing him off to the police...?

'Is this really happening...?' Taehyung asked mentally but Jimin's cold gaze cleared all his doubts making his heart heavy...

'Namjoon Hyung was right....it was stupid of me to think that this relationship can last...' Taehyung thought sadly as he watched Jimin's face

'He hates me now...'

Taehyung's dropped from his face and to his side as he stood in front of Jimin in a defeated stance

"If you think I-...I betrayed you then ple-please hand me to the police...." Taehyung stammered out

Jimin took a sharp breath before pulling his phone out from his pocket.

Taehyung eyes widened as he witnessed the scene...

It was really happening...Jimin was calling the cops on him...

Now he'd be tortured and probably spill out Namjoon and Jin's names...

He just ruined everything for everyone...

'I deserve it...' He thought sadly

Jimin looked at him with an angry expression before opening his phone

"Not so fast"

BAM!

Taehyung watched with wide eyes as Jimin's unconscious body fell down on the sand floor....

His heartbeat was buzzing in his ears

'Wha-what...?!'

"Guess I made it in time then"

Taehyung looked towards the right only to see Namjoon standing there with a metal pipe in his hands.

"I-is h-he de-dead...?" Taehyung stuttered out in shock as he looked at Namjoon

Namjoon smiled,"No, I just knocked him out" He stated before meeting Taehyung's eyes again, this time, very serious.

"So tell me Taehyung, can you see the entire picture here? Now do you understand who is in your team?" He asked

Taehyung bit his lips before running to Namjoon who willingly spread his arms to engulf Taehyung into a tight hug

"I'm so sorry, Hyung" He sobbed,"I'm so sorry for misunderstanding you guys" He hiccuped and continued to hug Namjoon  tightly

Namjoon smiled at Taehyung's gesture and looked at Jimin's unconscious body lying on the sand...

'It's time to put the actual plan into action' Namjoon thought and started to rub comforting circles on Taehyung's back as he kissed him on the head

"It's ok, Taehyungie, Hyung is here now, everything's going to work out"
