These titles sound way to similar.. Oh well! This part will be completely in Natalie's Pov, I wanted to show what she went through. Also this part takes place over the weeks before Ty was captured and corrupted also it starts pretty slow. Enjoy!

Natalie's Pov

I smiled as I walked down the halls of the kingdom, waving to the maids and guards I passed. "Okay let's see what do I need to do today?" I asked myself, walking into my brother and I's shared brewing room, "hm~ I guess I could use some more ingredients, oh! And while I'm in the market I can pick up a gift for Seto!" I smiled, "why would you get me a gift?" I jumped and turned to see Seto standing in the doorway of his bedroom, his pet dragon curled up in his arms.

"Simple, I want to!" I smiled, "Nat, you know I hate people buying me things," he said, rubbing his eyes sleepily, "did you just wake up?" I asked, "I'm sorry I wanted to take a nap after all the studying I was doing last night," he yawned, "wait, you were up all night?" I asked, "well not exactly, I think I went to sleep a bit after midnight," "Seto! That's not healthy at all!" I scolded. He shrugged, I sat my stuff down and stomped up to him, "Seto, go to bed now. I will talk to Ty and tell him to let the others know to leave you be for the day, you need your rest, now go lay down," I ordered, he nodded and turned around then ended up flopping onto his bed.

I sighed as I grabbed my stuff, wrote down a few ingredient/brewing items that I'd need and headed out the door. I began down the halls but soon got pulled around a corner, "he-mpfh!" I blushed as a pair of lips cut me off, I looked up to see Ty, then quickly melted into the kiss, "morning gorgeous~" he smiled, my world was a little hazy, "m-morning," I blushed deeply. "Where you off to this early?" He asked, twirling my hair in his fingers, "I have to head to the market to get some supplies," I smiled, he laid his head in the crook of my neck, "that's too bad, I was hoping we could have a little fun today~" he kissed my neck in a very sensitive spot, "T-Ty~ I actually need to get w-work done," I whined, he chuckled and pulled back.

"Fine, but later your mine," he smiled flirtatiously, "o-okay," I blushed deeply, "oh! I meant to tell you, Seto's sleeping in his room, he hasn't slept well recently, he must keep having that nightmare..." his smile dropped immediately, "the one where I'm- I'm holding a sword to his throat?" He asked. "Yes, that one, so please keep everyone from bothering him, okay?" I asked, he nodded and hugged me, "Hehe, bye Ty, love you," I pecked his cheek, he smiled and kissed me, "bye Nat, see you later love~" he smiled and I waved to him as I left.

A little over half an hour later, I finally reached the market place, people from everywhere were shouting about their goods. I saw a person who had very little business even though the rest of the market was bustling, "huh, that's pretty weird," I muttered, then walked over to the person. "Excuse me," I said politely, "what are you selling, if I may ask," the person simply stared at me, "We have this necklace," the person had a monotone voice which made me suddenly understand why everyone avoided them.

"Um, sorry, I don't need any jewelry I just need ingredients for potion brewing so I'm just gonna go," I said awkwardly, then left the stand. "Notch up above that was weird, no wonder everyone was avoiding that place," I muttered, a smile bloomed on my face as the usual shop that Seto and I went to, came into view. I walked into the small store, "Hello and welcome to brewer's corner how may I- oh! Natalie, welcome back!" The young woman behind the counter smiled brightly, her name was Gina, she had began working here soon after marrying the shop owner and quickly became friends with Seto and I.

"You sure are back sooner than usual, are you and Seto doing something special?" She asked then looked around, "where is that cutie anyway?" She asked. "Seto's staying home today, he hasn't slept well recently," I said, "Aw the poor dear, I'll make him some of my famous chamomile tea!" She smiled, "just get what you need and then wait here, I'll be back with the brew," she then disappeared into the back. I swear she treated me and Seto like she'd know us since we were little, I smiled then looked through her supplies, grabbing some Spider eyes, gunpowder, glowstone dust, and of course ghast tears.

You see most ingredients for potion brewing are easy to come by, but unfortunately so of them can only be found in the Nether, and I'd rather not practically risk my life when I can simply buy them here. I pulled out some of my coins and waited for her to get back, "okay, here we go!" She smiled, then handed me a small pouch, "that's free of charge, except you still have to pay for the brewing items," she giggled, "well I figured that," I chuckled and handed her the coins, "have a great day!" She called after me, "you too!" I smiled and waved.

I sighed as I saw all the recruits that were gathered in the market place, "I gotta get back quickly, after all I have a lot planned today," I muttered under my breath, "crap, I meant to get Seto a gift," I face palmed, "guess I'll have to get him one later," I sighed. I looked for a small opening in the group of people, but then I felt a rustle in my bag, I looked down to see a kids hand which I quickly grabbed, "what do you think your doing?" I asked, the little child had a hood on their head and seemed not to be scared by me noticing them, "well? What do you have to-ouch!" I yelped as the kid bit me then took off holding something from my bag.

"Hey!" I shouted then took off after the kid, following them through a back alleyway, I smirked as I saw a dead end coming up. The kid stopped once the wall was in front of them, "okay, now give back what you stole," I said sternly, the kid didn't move, "come on kid, I'd rather not have to arrest you for stealing, so just give it back and I'll never mention that this ever happened," the kid started to laugh. "I hardly see anything funny about this situation," I glared, the child pointed behind me, but before I could turn around I felt a sting in my neck and then lost all feeling in my legs and collapsed to the ground, "Nice job kid, here's your money, now to take you to your new home," I soon felt darkness envelope me.

I groaned in pain as I opened my eyes to see a dampened cell covered in moss and dirt. "W-what tha-" "different from your usual room isn't it?" I jumped at a deep voice, a chain rattling as I did so. I now noticed the chain hooked to my ankle, "not so high and mighty now, are we?" He sneered, I growled and tried to throw a fire blast at him, only to have it fizzle out, "huh?" I looked at my hand. "Oh I wouldn't waste your time with that, we sapped your magic easily, you'll be lucky to even be able to levitate a simple pebble," I starred in shock at the- "what are you?!" I shouted, "oh, how rude, my name is pitch, I am the King's number 1 confidant," "king? What king?" "Why Derpolis of course," the world around me shattered.

I was in the squid kingdom, our number one enemy had me in their jail. "His majesty wishes to speak with you, but you can't expect him to come to these dark and dreary cells can you?" He smiled maliciously at me, then opened the door and hooked chains to my wrists and unhooked my ankle. He then dragged me down a damp, disgusting hallway, that led to a large door, which he opened, "my king, I present to you the infamous sorcery user of the Gold Kingdom," he said bowing to the large squid.

'Hang on, they think I'm the one who everyone knows in the kingdom? If they figured out otherwise, what would happen to Seto? No I won't let them figure this out.' I thought to myself, I couldn't help but feel small in this guy's presence, "you, my dear, are going to make one of two people very happy~" I moved my head back as the king tried to grab my chin with one of his tentacles. "Excuse me?" I snapped, "well I'm going to give you a choice, you can either bear a prince for me-" "Absolutely not!" I shouted angrily, "oh? Do you not want to marry a king?" He boomed, I growled lowly, "are you kidding, it's every girls dream to marry a king, but I wouldn't be caught dead marrying a disgusting squid like you!" I growled in a bittersweet voice. I cringed as he slapped me, "How dare you speak to royalty that way, you no good brat!" He boomed at me, I growled back at him, "then you choose the second choice, to simply bear a child of someone who carries my blood," he smirked, I gulped silently, "take her back to the chambers, make her see how she should act towards her future husband," he commanded, then Pitch grabbed me and dragged me down a separate hallway to a dark room.

Upon entering, the squid gave me a malicious look, "now I'll ask nicely at first, how do you speak to your prince," he asked, "I speak however I wish," I stated, earning a dark chuckle from him, "my dear you have much to learn about respecting royalty," he smirked, then chained me to the wall. "There's something very special about this room, if I press a certain button then a voice will play over and over again until you know it word for word, then it'll play even more, and if I press another button, it'll deliver a painful shock to your body, I plan to deliver one of those every time you move, just to put you in your place," he smirked and walked out. Then a voice began to speak, 'I mean nothing without my prince,' 'I am only to serve my prince,' I groaned at these words, there's zero way I'd ever let a guy treat me like I mean nothing! I know my worth, I know that I am more than just some woman who will have someone's children and let them do whatever they wish, and these stupid squids are not going to take that freedom from me.

==== Time Skip ====

I sighed solemnly, I had been here for what felt like months! But probably wasn't more than a week, and I was constantly brought to that room. But they never broke me, I was strong, even when they'd shock me, I just pushed through the pain, my eyes began to droop as sleep started to wrap it's tender arms around me.

Then a masculine scream echoed through the halls, which made me jump, Pitch walked past me, "hey! Who was that?" I asked, Pitch ignored me, "hmph," I huffed. Then a smirk found its way to my lips, as an idea to get him to talk to me came to mind, "Pitch! Pitch please tell me! Pitch! Pitchy! Pit! Pitchy! Pitchy! Pitch! Pit-" "Shut up!" He shouted angrily, then grabbed the ends of my chains and pulled me to the bars of the cell, "you wanna know who's screams are echoing through these halls?" He asked maliciously, "duh!" I sassed, "those are the screams of that stupid leader Deadlox, we plan to make him our future prince, and your future husband, now shut your damn mouth and leave me alone," he pushed me to the ground. I tried to process what he just told me, Ty was here? And is gonna be my- I blushed at the simple thought of marrying Ty, I admit I feel something special between us, but we were simply messing around, nothing serious was ever gonna come out of our 'relationship' at least I don't think anything would.

Tears raced down my face, chasing each other in a loop, each trying to beat the other to the floor. There's no way Ty would give in to their tricks but with my magic they could corrupt his mind easily, and make him into something that isn't him, and it'll be all my fault... I allowed myself to fall for that kids trick, I was the owner of that magic, he'll be corrupted by my magic... why? What'd we do to deserve this?
