A/n this is probably going to be a long ass chapter TBH.

Squidlox's Pov

I stared at my 'host's' reflection, "if this isnt me- then who am I?" His once brown hair now had black at the roots, amd his eyes were now almost as dark as coal, not to mention the skin on his hands and past his wrists was now a dark navy blue. "I- what am I?" I asked, this wasn't me but at the same time- it was? My entire existence was being questioned, "I want answers. And I'll get them," I growled.

"Everything alright my son?" I jumped at my father's voice, "fine- everything is fine, I was just nervous since this'll be the first time I'll be shown as the prince, I guess I'm a bit nervous," "haha! There's no need to be nervous! The  people will love you and if not they can be killed," I gulped, the thought of killing wasnt exactly pleasant to me. "Father, what'll happen after my coronation?" "Simple, we shall have a feast, then discuss our plans to destroy those leaders," "destroying them?" "Of course! They shall burn and hang for how many of our kind have suffered!" "Oh, right," I agreed, albeit a bit hesitantly, the voice hadn't been talking recently, I was on my own. "Now finish gettiing ready, your coronation is in an hour," he boomed, then left the room, leaving me to my thoughts, "I know you're in there, please say something," I asked.

'Since when do you want to talk to me? I mean you have my body, what else could you want from me?'

I sighed, at least he wasn't gone completely, "who are you?"

'You know exactly who I am. I'm Deadloxx but my friends call me Ty,'

I nodded, though I admit I hadn't known he went by that, "well Ty-"

'I said my friends, not idiotic squids who steal bodies!'

Steal...? "I assure you, I had no knowledge that this wasn't my body, I have been tricked just as much as you,"

'As much as me?! You hurt my friends! You raped my best friend! You are making my friends want me dead! I have had my good name dragged through the mud thanks to you!'

"Your best friend? So you knew my queen before I possessed you, that could explain why I enjoy her company so much, but for me to be as infatuatted with her as I am, there must have been something else there," I stated, fixing my suit and hair, I'm still going through with the coronation, just getting some answers from my host first.

'Excuse me? Are you forgetting we- unfourtunately- share a body, if you want answers from me you're shit out of luck, I am not going to tell you anything about my friends, I know exactly what you're planning, and I admit that I know weaknesses that would help you win, but I will never tell you, and I swear if you hurt Nat again, I will kill you.'

I chuckled darkly, "we share a body you idiot, you can't kill me without killing yourself," I snapped.

'If it comes to me or my friends and family, I will put a sword through my own heart.'

"You idiot! You can't kill yourself! If your so called 'friends' miss you now, they'll be devastated if you kill yourself!" I shouted, but got no reply, "what? Nothing to say?" Still nothing, "answer me dammit!" He continued to ignore me. I growled angrily, "my prince?" I heard a squid say from the door, "shouldn't you be in the dungeon?" I growled, he twitched but said nothing, "what did you disturb me for?" He sighed, "I thought you might like to see your bride, who the king so gractiously allowed me to guard," he stated, then opened thedoor to reveal the one my host called 'Nat'. 

She looked stunning in the dress that I had picked out, though it was very tight on her, showing off every delicious curve of hers, "you look beautiful my queen," I purred, she said nothing, "is something wrong dearest? You didn't speak when I spoke to you earlier," she sighed, "it's nothing, I just find this dress very... Revealing.." She admitted. She was right, the dress perfectly outlined her her chest and lower assets, "Is that a problem?" "Well I'm used to wearing clothes that don't show off my body," "well I want to show off my bride," I stated, she stopped talking. "Are you ready my son?" I heard my father ask, "yes father, we're ready," I smiled.

                        *small time skip to an hour later*

I smiled without emotion, obviously trying to convey confidence, while looking on at the many squids that made up the kingdom. "Good Squids of the Squid Kingdom! It has been a very long time since the creation of our good home, and since the beginning my family has ruled over this incredible kingdom-" he paused and let a cheer erupt from the crowd of squids. "-but, you also know that- simply because I am such a devoted leader- I have not had the time to create a family or heir of my own, but I have done somthing better! As most of you know, we have kidnapped many recruits from our enemies, and have been experimenting with squid DNA. Many of the recruits we have tested it on have died, but not all have, so we took a chance and used my DNA on the leader Deadloxx, it could have killed him or made him my heir, it was a win-win,  thankfully he bonded well with the serum and now I present to you- not the leader Deadloxx- but rather your new prince Squidlox!" An appaluse and cheer erupted from the crowd, I waved and bowed to my people. "And he has claimed his queen, the protector and shield of the Gold Kingdom!" No one did anything but glared at my queen, who stood next to me with an emotionless stare.

"I would hope you would show respect to my future successor, he has tamed one of the ellusive sorcery users of that useless kingdom, and shall make a future king with her! This shall give us a better, stronger leader in the future!" Another cheer erupted, and I noticed 'Nat' blush and grit her teeth, all while muttering to herself. "With this crown I complete your induction as our newest prince!" He shouted, taking a crown off a pillow and placing it atop my head, "Now, let the festivities begin!" He shouted, beginning the 'festival-like' festivities.

I looked back at my queen, noticing that squid staring at her, "do you have a staring problem?" I growled at him, " I'm just doing my duty, my prince," he stated. I watched as the squids began their merry festivities, joking, watching small plays- most of which depicted our killing the leaders or of how my father came to power- and began dancing to a beat-less song. "Come my son!join in the festivities!" My father said, I smiled once again, "I would father but I-I'm not feeling the best right now, I think I'll go rest," I said politely, "suit yourself, but you better be rested and present when we make our plans for their destruction," he stated, he had casual tone, but underneath that was a warning and threat of what might happen should I slip up, I nodded to my father and made sure that Squid was still watching my bride, then left to my room.

Upon entering my room I growled, "okay, I don't know what you're doing to block out that voice but stop it!"

'Why?'

I could hear his smirk through my thoughts, he was teasing me, and I don't take kindly to being teased. "Now listen here you pathedic excuse for a leader, I am in control, not you! So you have to listen to what I say understand?!" 

'Heh, I haven't listened to anyone since I was a child, what makes you think I'll listen to you?'

I growled lowly, "I am you, the better you, I know who to kill just by how my body reacts to seeing them! And it'd be a shame if your friends saw you murder someone who was just trying to help," I smirked.

'You aren't me. You don't exist, "Squidlox" isn't a real person, the only reason you're around is because Derpolis is losing this fight and thinks that by adding our recruits to his army, he'll win. Which he won't, one way or another he will lose, wheather it's because of him underestimating them, or because he thinks that you are a vaulable asset, he will lose.' 

I tried to come up with some comeback, but found myself at a loss for words. 'I don't exist' what the hell does that mean?!

'It means exactly what you think. You are the product of a potion and a mind control spell, you aren't me. And that "voice" that helps you "act correctly" is simply Derpolis telling you how to be the perfect weapon, and I'm not blocking him out, he simply hasn't given you any orders to follow. And if you slip up, he delivers a massive amount of pain to your body, like it or not you're his puppet, and if you were to live long enough to take the throne, you'd have his words echoed in your mind, you'd still be a puppet. You're not a human, not a squid prince, you're simply his puppet, as you always will be,'

I stared ahead in shock, this can't be true, my father woul- wait.. He admitted at the coronation, I'm not his son, I'm simply the result of an experiment, I don't exist. "No, you're lying! I do exist, this is just one of your ploys to get control over your body! Like it or no, I will take the throne, I will dispose of those leaders, and I will bear a son with my queen!"

'I swear if you touch her, I will never stop fighting, you will die.'

I smirked, "seems I touched a nerve, like it or not, I am using your body to rape her, so technically you're raping her," I didn't hear him speak anymore, "this is my body, amd soon enough you and everyone you ever cared for will be dead!" I cracked my knuckles and walked out of the room, "time for a little visit to the dungeon," I smirked.

Hope you guys enjoyed this... interesting chapter, and for those who haven't guessed, I update every Wednesday, but I might be a little slow for the next little while, I recently got a job, so I can only work on these when I'm in first period (we do absolutely nothing and are allowed on the Ipads which is where I work on this), or when I'm off.
