"Listen. Here's the plan. I'll go out and look around. I'll say the coast is clear through our crystals, and you guys can come. Got it?"

They all nod a little nervously.

"I'll be fine, guys."

"You always say that." Ashes puts in.

I roll my eyes, and walk out the door. I peek around a corner.

'Jason? Anything?'

'Nop-" someone grabs my crystal and tips it off my neck, and drags me down the hall.

-Later-

I wake up in a dark room, and look around.

'Where am I?' I think to myself.

"Ah, the prince is finally awake, I see."

Angel.

"Mmm!"

"What was that honey?" She grabs a book off a table, and starts flipping through the pages. "Here it is."

She walks over to me, and lifts my chin so that I'm staring straight into her eyes.

"With a handful of fog, and a sprinkle of dark, look into my eyes, and you will be mine!"

At that, something changes in me.
