3rd Person POV

The gang had finally flown their way to the very corner of the Farlands where it was known that Ivor kept his secret laboratory. Landing just outside of the entrance lit up by sea lanterns, everyone's wings dissipated into thin air and were brushing themselves off when they heard a deep rumbling noise coming from inside the Farlands.

"Ok, what was that?" Sadie asked as she pulled out her sword.

"Let's just hope we can handle it quickly and as mess-free, as we can, we have to find Ivor before this whole Madegno situation gets any worse." Dreamer announced as he and Sadie led the group through the entrance.

"Keep your guards up, I can sense something up ahead." Lily told everyone as she swung her sword in her hand.

"Do you have powers too?!" Stone whisper yelled.

"No." Lily looked at him weirdly as Lily Rose asserted,

"Only people with powers here are Dreamer and Addie, that's it."

"Ok just checking..." Stone mumbled as he pulled out his sword too as they all carefully crept down the long hallway into the Farlands.

When they got through the hallway to the end, they saw the infamous large maze that had to be completed in order to get to the laboratory.

"Ok, since we don't have time for the super hard and super spooky maze, what're we going to do?" Aspen asked as she poked the mossy stones nonchalantly.

"Nothing..." An eerie whisper came at them from all directions.

"What was that?!"

"Ahh!" Addie fell down to her knees, pulling the scarf off her arm quickly. Even from the outside, the others could see that her bracelet started to crack even more, making purple light come out from the cracks.

"Addie!" Everyone yelled and tried to get to her, but a forcefield had been created around her.

"Addie, take this down now!" Sadie tried to order her worriedly.

"It's not me doing this! It's an Oreck." Addie looked up fearfully making the others do the same and they saw a version of Madegno. It had pitch colored, webbed bat wings and long fangs protruding from a longer snout.

"What's an 'Oreck'?" Dreamer questioned urgently.

"It's an incarnation of a demon's rage, meant to do whatever it's commanded it to do towards the person their anger is directed to." Aspen responded

Spreading its wings out from the stalagmite it was hanging upside down from over their heads it opened its mouth and Madegno's raspy voice came out,

"You have brought the accursed to me..."

Then, he crawled down the stalagmites slowly, his claws scraping against the stone as it's red eyes glowed even brighter.

"Addie..." Lily Rose realized with a gasp.

"No!" Stone beat on the forcefield with his sword yelling, "Leave her alone, she wants nothing to do with her family's past!"

"She will have no choice!" The Oreck lept down and pierced its claws into the forcefield, smoke entering and surrounding Addie inside.

"Get her out of there!" Lily shouted to her as she, Aspen, and Sadie went to attack the Oreck, knocking it off the top of the forcefield, and stopping the smoke from dispersing inside, but it still hung around inside, leaving Addie unseen.

"Get away from us!" Aspen yelled to the Oreck and tried to strike it in the back, but it knocked her off with its wings before sweeping them to hit back Sadie and Lily, leaving them unconscious on the ground.

"Girls!" Dreamer ran to help them, leaving Stone and Lily Rose by the forcefield.

"Why don't you help him?" Stone asked Lily Rose as they tried to find a way into the forefield.

"I don't have a weapon..." She looked away to avoid eye contact as she tried to pound on the field again, but to no avail.

"Here." Stone handed Lily Rose his stick and she just looked at it in disbelief.

"This is a stick." She stated obviously.

"It's a powerful weapon, just go." Stone motioned for her to help Dreamer as his arm was injured by the Oreck clawing it and sending his sword skidding on the ground.

"Go!" Stone told Lily Rose urgently and she nodded once before charging over to hit the Oreck as it stalked closer to Dreamer on the ground. 

Carving a scratch deep in its face, Lily Rose managed to deflect the Oreck's attack toward Dreamer as she twirled the stick in her hand.

"Ok, I admit this is a pretty powerful weapon."

"Then, you'll looove this weapon." A new voice sounded from the top of the maze, when the rest of the gang looked, they saw Harper holding a giant weapon that looked new.

"You're not gonna like it though!" Harper yelled at the Oreck right before she blasted it.

When she shot the weapon, a yellow ray of light came out and blasted a hole right in the middle of the Oreck. Letting out a monstrous shriek, it made a last attempt at saving itself by flying toward Harper, but a bottle smashed against it, covering it with green slime and making it stick to the wall right before it disappeared into an ashy cloud.

"Ha! I told you that would work." Ivor was seen standing next to Harper with a bottle of green in his hand.

"Yeah yeah, don't you go patting yourself on the back too much now." Harper smirked.

"Ivor!" Stone exclaimed with relief.

"Yes yes you must be very happy to see us, but we should tend to your friends' injuries before they worsen." Ivor pointed out that the girls were still unconscious and Dreamer's arm was getting worse by the second.

"And maybe figure out what's going on with that." Harper pointed to the forefield as it collapsed and the smoke inside finally vented out, revealing Addie on the ground, unmoving.

"Addie!" Stone ran over to her and tried to shake her awake.

"Quickly, get everyone onto the barge!" Ivor helped Dreamer up as Harper woke the girls up and helped them to stand.

"Barge?" Dreamer asked until he saw a slime barge on the edge of the maze.

"Where have you been for the past year?" Sadie asked Ivor as she had come to and was limping toward the barge.

"All will be explained as soon as we get to the safety of the lab." Ivor assured them.

"Then let's go." Stone told them determined as he hoisted Addie onto his back and boarded the barge.

Chugging with Redstone, the pistons moving the slime started off toward the lab as more shrieks were heard coming from behind them.

AN- Happy 4th Anniversary MCSM! And sorry I haven't updated in three weeks, but I've been having writer's block when working on this story while I'm trying to revise my Ninjago and Marvel stories. Until the next chapter, Bye!
