Revenge Of Alias
Alias stood on the bridge of his ship, claws behind his back. He stared out the viewport, tail whipping side to side, close to tapping the spikes on his back. Alias called himself a Stagomorph, he was a cross between a Xenomorph and a Sangheili, he was nine feet tall, very muscular, and extremely dangerous.
Alias focused on a ship called Superior and growled. Seth was the commander of it. Seth, just thinking of his name made his blood boil and his mandibles twitch. He hated Seth more than anything; he killed his Queen, his mother, and Alias wanted to make sure he paid for it. Seth had a reason, Alias knew, Xenomorphs were bred to kill, made to spread like a plague, and had control of over one hundred planets. Alias was different, he knew what was wrong, he knew it’s wrong to kill, he knew his species was aggressive, violent, but they were smart, to smart. The Humans tried to kill them but the Xenomorphs backed off, until now. Ever since Seth killed the Queen Alias was more than furious, he released the Xenomorphs, allowing them to take over everything they saw. Now Alias had found Seth and eagerly whipped his tail faster.
“Board Superior.” Alias said to a Xenomorph, his cat-like lime green eyes not leaving the viewport.
The Xenomorph screeched its reply and moved the ship toward Superior.
Alias snarled lowly, walked out of the bridge, and toward the hanger bay. He screeched at all the Xenomorphs near him, telling them to come with him. Alias dropped to all fours and ran down to the hanger, the Xenomorphs hot on his heels.
Once there, Alias jumped back onto two legs and grabbed an Energy Sword from the weapons supply. He stood patiently; tail whipping, waiting for his ship to connect to Superiors. He was growling, but only slightly, his diamond–like teeth were bared, and he was clutching his sword tightly.
He felt the ship shudder. They were now connected with Superiors hanger. With a convulsive snarl Alias stormed into its hanger bay.
He felt the cool air hit his face as he past the barrier, he was used to the hot heat in his ship, not the cool air, and Xenomorphs loved the heat. The Xenomorph’s normally lived in a hive that was extremely hot but Alias was able to take over a Human ship, they had set there ship to be at the Hives temperature, he wasn’t going to like the coolness of Superior.
Alias immediately aimed toward the bridge. Seth was a commander so he knew where he would be. The Xenomorphs were behind him, tearing through anything in their path. Alias did his best to avoid the humans, he was only focused on Seth.
Suddenly several Human marines jumped out from a hallway right in front of him. Alias stopped in his run and glared at the Marines. They noticed his Sword, though not ignited; they knew what it was and raised their weapons. Alias paced side to side, glaring and hissing. The Xenomorphs stopped behind him; they stared at Alias intently, wondering what he wanted them to do.
Alias looked for any other way to go, in his peripheral view he could see a vent shaft, Alias clicked in amusement. The Humans stared at him focused on the Energy Sword in his claws. One Human was extremely twitchy like he wanted to throw a grenade at them and run.
Alias stopped in his pacing and grinned at the twitchy Human, he took a risk and stepped forward, mainly to get closer to the vent but to put the twitchy Human on hyper alert too. Slowly, Alias stepped closer and closer until he was next to the vent, now Alias could see the Humans shaking and grinding their teeth together, they were eager to shoot at them. Alias knew why they wanted to shoot but he wondered why they aren’t? Did Seth tell them not to?
He just whipped his tail and screeched, he was too fast for the humans, he jumped right into the vent shaft. It was much smaller than him but thanks to the Xenomorph side of him he was able to fit in very small places.
The Xenomorphs then attacked the Humans. Alias ignored the sound of gunfire and screeches. He crawled slowly, making sure that he would not pass the bridge and hoping that the vent wouldn’t collapse because of his weight. He was able to crawl past four hallways then the Humans noticed and shot the vents he was in.
The vent collapsed under him, he screeched as he hit the ground, dropping his sword a few feet away from him. He got up slowly, shaking his head. He looked up to see the barrel of a Human Rifle in his face. Alias growled with disapproval and stared at the Humans face. The human looked relieved as if he thought they had caught him.
Alias tilted his head and began to think of how to get out of this, he could easily grab his Energy Sword but he knew that the Human would shoot. ‘The bridge’ he thought ‘they can take me to the bridge as a prisoner.’ Alias then slowly raised his claws in the air to surrender.
The Human looked surprised and lowered his weapon a bit then he jerked it to the side telling Alias to follow him. Alias hissed softly as the other marines came running to escort him. He moved his tail and picked up his Energy Sword secretly, he twirled his tail around it to hide it.
He walked silently behind the Human, following him toward the bridge. Alias could smell Seth now, he could smell the scent of stress and maybe a bit of anxiety. When Alias knew he was at the bridge door he halted to a stop. The marines behind him poked his back with the muzzle of their weapons. The Human in front of him turned and looked puzzled. Alias cocked his head to the side, opened his mouth and screeched, he began to whip his tail side to side to get his sword to his right claw.
When he was able to grab it he swiftly turned and lunged at the marines, his energy sword sparking to life. It glowed bright white and had electronic sparks and plasma that generated enough heat to slice through metal. He sliced the sword through the two marines. The Human that was in front of him opened fire, bad idea, Alias turned and sunk his teeth into the Humans neck, he felt it’s blood drip down his mandibles and throat, it was so warm and to Alias is was the tastiest thing in the universe, it was tanging, sour, and sweet all at the same time. He reluctantly dropped the lifeless body to the ground and stared at the bridge door.
‘Time for revenge’ Alias thought as he rammed into the door, he dented it but only slightly, he hit it again, dented it some more, the third time he smashed right through it as if it was paper. Seth and his bridge crew were right there holding their weapons; all of them were aimed square at Alias’s head. Alias growled at them.
“Alias,” Seth said “I know why you’re here.”
“You will pay for what you have done.” Alias bared his teeth and hissed loudly.
“You know I had to kill her Alias. You’re an extremely dangerous creature that must not survive or at least be controlled.”
“I know, I know we’re deadly but we left the Humans alone!” Alias snarled “We attacked you when you killed our Queen! We may be vicious but we have feelings too!” Alias lunged slicing his sword at Seth. Seth dodged and fired his weapon, the bullets bounced harmlessly off of Alias’s black body armour. The other marines jumped in the way to try and slow Alias down, they didn’t last long, Alias sliced down three of them, stabbed his tail through two and bit down on the last marine’s neck.
Seth hopped over a Control Console just as Alias leapt at him, Alias smashed the wall as Seth ducked behind the console. The wall was now dented but Seth didn’t worry about it.
Seth leaned up against the console with his weapon aimed directly at the Stagomorph, he stared at Alias trying to catch his breath, he panted and stumbled to his feet. He risked a glace around the bridge to see if anyone else had survived, he took note that he was now the only Human left, he quickly looked back at Alias.
Alias looked up at Seth, teeth bared, and growling. He hissed, whipped his tail side to side and then he pounced at Seth, fast and swift, he bit down onto Seth’s right arm, causing him to drop his weapon.
Seth screamed in pain and agony, he frantically tried to get his arm out of Alias’s mouth. He smacked at his head and tried to stomp on his feet then he dug his nails into the Stagomorph’s gums causing him to let go.
Alias screeched in pain, his green acid blood began to drip out of his mouth he was surprised, Seth was able to dig his nails deep enough to cause blood and move his hand away before the blood touched him. Alias never hated the Xenomorph side of him, his skin was resistant to acid which came in handy a lot.
Seth tried to run and grab his weapon but before he could get away Alias grabbed him by the throat, he breathed heavily and stared into Seth’s hazel eyes. He could see the bite mark he had left on his arm, he had ripped through the fabric of his uniform and broken through his skin, he noticed that his arm was soaked red with blood.
“Dammit Alias!” Seth yelled, he grabbed Alias’s wrist probably to hold himself up.
Alias snarled “You know what you did! You must pay for it! What’s the Human saying? ‘An eye for an eye, a life for a life?’ well you ended my Queens life and now I’m taking yours!”
“Alias please! You know I had no choice its part of my job, I’m sorry; I never wanted to kill her, please Alias! I knew the Xenomorphs cared for her but I had to, I had to kill her! You know and the Humans know that you’re dangerous and that’s why they told me to kill her!”
‘He’s right, it’s just his job’ Alias thought ‘but he killed her, he could’ve just not listened to his orders’ Alias growled trying to focus on the fact Seth killed his Queen. ‘We deserve to die, we’re dangerous, we’ll kill everything, everyone. It’s just his job even I couldn’t disobey my orders if the Queen told me to do something, he couldn’t disobey his orders either.’
Seth stared up at Alias, Alias could tell from his eyes that he really was sorry, that he really didn’t want to kill the Queen. “You killed her…” Alias whispered, he spit his acid blood on the floor, and then looked back at Seth “You didn’t even think did you? You just killed her and now the Xenomorphs are loose because of me but because of you I did it… I’m not sure whose fault this is.”
Seth was holding back tears “I’d say it was mine Alias, I’m sorry, I really am I didn’t want it to end like this, I didn’t want to kill her, you know that.” His hands were still gripping Alias’s wrist, which was now covered in Seth’s red blood.
Alias hissed softly, he clutched his sword and activated it. ‘What do I do…?’ Alias shook his head, hissing, growling, and screeching, trying to decide what to do. Outside of the door he could hear the other Xenomorphs holding the marines back, he wondered how many people they had killed and how many Xenormorphs the Humans had killed.
Now Seth was panicking he was shivering and struggling to get out of Alias’s grip, his legs kicked helplessly against the floor. “Please Alias! Please! I’m so sorry!” He was scared and Alias didn’t think a commander could ever get scared. He probably had a family too, Alias knew if he was to kill Seth his wife and his kids wouldn’t have a father, but Alias doesn’t have his mother either.
‘I can just end it, right now. But… he didn’t want to do it. Why did he do it? He knew what would happen so why? Why did he tell the marines not to shoot me? Does he really care? Does he want me to forgive him? What do I do?’
Alias leaned closer to Seth, they were almost nose to nose, he stared into his frightened eyes trying to look for an answer. Alias raised his Energy sword in the air for the killing blow as he asked “Why?”
