It was night time when Taehyung was sitting near the edge of bed and gazing lovingly at the cute fluffball. He didn't know if all babies were this quiet or Aera is the only one of that kind. He continued looking at his baby girl lying almost lifeless on the bed.It was scaring him.

Aera was now two months old. He was still living with Jimin and his mother. Jimin's mother earlier checked Aera but didn't see any abnormality. She joked that Area might have taken after Jimin in this habit as Jimin was the laziest baby she ever saw, who wouldn't even cry after pooping and would continue to lay there lazily.

Taehyung laughed but he wouldn't lie he was still not convinced. Jimin's mother suggested to give her a bath. He did give her bath but the baby didn't cry or play with water or any other response. Taehyung bit his lips anxiously.

He reached for Aera's small chubby hands as he wrapped his delicate long fingers around it. The baby just stared at him with her dark bambi eyes. He had her changed into a pink onesie, which he bought when he went for shopping with Jungkook.

He sniffled as he pecked her hands, then cheeks and her eyes. He looked at her eyes .... which were just like his boyfriend's eyes; deep, dark and beautiful as if they're holding sparkles. She reminded him of Jungkook.

Jungkook... That Jungkook who has most probably abandoned him, didn't even come to see his own daughter, that Jungkook who didn't even let him explain, that Jungkook who just punished him without even letting him say anything in his defence. He chuckled bitterly. That Jungkook who so called loved him and whom with he's still hopelessly in love.

He continued playing with her fingers, but then he frowned.

"Why's her body so burning hot?"

He questioned himself. She wasn't hot before. Taehyung picked up her and immediately exited the room. He looked around and found jimin's mom. Jimin was at university.

"Mrs Park..."

He choked a sob. The woman instantly stood up and walked towards him.

"What's wrong honey?"

"A-aera.. why's she---"

He was hyperventilating and couldn't even form a proper sentence. Mrs Park frowned and reached for Aera.

"Taehyung she has fever."

She announced, Taehyung nibbled on his lips as he paled.

"L-let's take her to the doctor."

Taehyung suggested as he rushed to his room to grab his wallet.

"Taehyung rather than taking her to hospital. Come with me my neighbor is a child specialist. It will take less time."

Taehyung nodded immediately. They both hurriedly walked out of the house and towards the next house. After knocking for a few minutes a middle-aged woman came out.

"Oh hello Mrs Park."

"Hi Mrs Han. I hope I didn't disturb you. Actually this is Taehyung jimin's friend. His baby is having a fever. Can you check her?"

"Of course."

The woman answered taking the baby out of her arms and asking them to follow her.

After checking the baby girl she spoke. Taehyung stood there nervously biting his thumb.

"Honey I have written the medicine here. Please go fetch it from the nearest pharmacy. Then just give her a small spoon of it after feeding her."

Taehyung nodded taking the slip. She has signed the slip along with the name of hospital she worked in. He took a last glance at Aera who has now her eyes closed. Taehyung walked towards her and pecked her cheeks and left.

Mrs Park took Aera home, telling Taehyung to come home directly. He walked through the empty streets illuminated by street lights. The cold air hitting his face making his cheeks red and body shiver.

He saw a pharmacy after walking for a few minutes. He entered the pharmacy and brought Aera's medicine. Just as he was about to walk back on his path he saw a departmental store and decided to buy baby soap and lotion for Aera. He decided to make it quick.

He quickly entered the store and picked up the required items not wasting time as he called Mrs Park and asked about his baby. She told him she tucked her in her crib and he shouldn't worry cause the baby looks better now. Her fever has dropped down a bit.

Taehyung ended the call and looked at the counter waiting for his turn, as he impatiently tapped his feet. He paid after two people and picked up his bag. Just as he was about to leave, he collided with someone.

"I'm sorry--"

He muttered but froze when he saw.

"J-jungkook."

Jungkook was there to buy a few groceries as the shop near his penthouse building was closed today. He knitted his brows in irritation when a person bumped into him but then he heard the familiar sweet voice.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung but then soon gritted his teeth remembering taehyung's lies and his real identity. He turned away from him and started walking towards the exit without uttering another word.

Taehyung was on the verge of crying. He instantly ran behind and exited the shop. He caught up with him just as Jungkook was going to enter his car. Taehyung immediately held his arm to stop him.

"Kookie... where were you? Are you okay... You didn't come to see me or our bab--"

Jungkook cut him off as he raised his brow at Taehyung.

"Why would I come to see you or your baby? We are over. I had made myself clear that day."

He muttered with hatred. Taehyung couldn't believe that this was the same Jungkook who loved him and never even spoke harshly with him.

"Jungkook--- why are you saying this... please... I'll explain."

Taehyung pleaded as held Jungkook's bicep and moved closer to him.

"Explain what huh? That you are a cheater and your mom was a home wrecker."

Jungkook spatted with anger. Taehyung flinched at his tone and shook his head.He was shocked to know that Jungkook found out about his mother but for now he kept his all focus to make his anger to away.

"N-no Kookie I never cheated--"

"Oh really? I know Taehyung how much of a good liar you are. Just like you hid your identity from me you can hide this too."

Jungkook pushed away Taehyung as he tried to open his car door. But Taehyung again held onto him.

"No koo... please listen to me. I know I hid that from you but I never chea--"

"I don't care anymore. Taehyung leave me alone. I'm done with you."

He again tried opening but Taehyung wasn't leaving his hand.

"Please jungkookie... please don't leave me like this----You didn't even come to see our little baby. You know she misses her--- father too. She wants your love too. Please.... I miss you too. Don't go."

Taehyung chocked a sob. Jungkook heaved a deep breath as he tried controlling himself. He won't fall for this trap anymore.

"Well she's not my baby first of all. And if she ever misses me again just tell her I'm dead for her and for you."

Jungkook jerked out his hand from taehyung's who has now tears streaming down his face. He entered his car and started the engine.

But before driving away he rolled down the glass and uttered the word which surely left Taehyung devastated.

"And yeah get through this your head Taehyung. The foolish jungkook who fell for you is long dead and so does his love for you. And the Jungkook whom you met today, you should wish to never see him again because I'm not good at forgiving and forgetting. So rather stay away from me until you can."

I know a lot of you are telling me to do happy ending. Don't worry. It won't disappoint you hopefully... and even if I want to, I can't really change the ending cuz it was already decided, when I wrote this book. Anyways just wait for a suprise in the end, maybe you'll like it.🙃
