49💔
"Jungkook you are going to be there. Am I clear?"
"I'll see."
Ignoring his father's words and giving him a vague reply he continued to change the channels on the LED. Currently he was in their mansion as his father called him to talk about something important. So there he was plopped on the soft couch and going through boring channels.
His father sighed and sat near him. Jaehwa brought his hand forward and patted his son's shoulder who seemed to become tensed under his touch.
"You should stop seeing that boy."
Jaehwa muttered slowly and his words were finally able to catch Jungkook's attention who was now looking at his father with an obvious frown.
"oh? That's what you want?"
He spoke, now finally sitting and staring at his father.
"You know nothing about him Jungkook. He's not good for you."
"Okay thanks for your concern. But sorry to disappoint you because me leaving him isn't going to happen."
With that he stood up and grabbed his jacket and left without another word. He sat in his car and slammed the door. Leaning his head back on the car seat, he closed his eyes.
He knew his father never gives empty threats. lately with so much going on in his life there wasn't a single moment where he could relax.
So he did the only thing he could think of.
"Oh my god jungkookie I told you to not come here."
Taehyung whisper yelled but Jungkook wasn't having it at all. He ignored taehyung's protests and continued to snuggle against his belly, hiding his face in his lap.
"You are Spiderman or what huh? Climbing a tree and then jumping inside someone's room--"
"Not someone's my boyfriend's room."
Taehyung huffed.
"Still. Mom is also at home. And what if someone saw you doing those stunts."
Taehyung muttered caressing Jungkook's hair. Jungkook didn't answer. He knew he put both of them at risk but he couldn't help himself. Taehyung was his only comfort. He had no-one other than him to share his troubles. And he was tired of going to the cemetery and sit there and talk endlessly with no one to reply him.
Although that lifted the weight upon his heart too but he would always cry sitting there near his mom, knowing she won't say anything to him. So why not seeking comfort from someone whose even scoldings, can give your heart and mind some peace.
"why are you upset?"
Taehyung finally asked and Jungkook sighed, sitting up and looking at his face.
"Tae have you ever lied to me?"
Taehyung frowned hearing Jungkook's words.
"No koo why are you asking this?"
Jungkook just shook his head and clasped taehyung's hands in his.
"Tae you know I'm not a good person at all--"
"Who said that! You are the best person I've ever met in my life."
Taehyung interrupted and Jungkook smiled.
"Thanks baby but listen to me first.".
"So I was saying that--- I'm not a good person at all. I'm not even close to what you might have thought of me."
Taehyung nibbled on his lips hearing Jungkook's words. It was hurting him, how Jungkook was loathing himself. Drawing a sharp inhale Jungkook continued.
"I---i am not even normal like you see me. I always say to you that I hate liars but how hypocritical of me if I'm the one who lies to you all the time and hides things from you. Just so--- so that you won't leave me. But tae I don't want to lie to you anymore. I want to tell you something and then you are gonna decide if you wanna stay or leave. Okay?"
Jungkook asked, softly caressing taehyung's hands who was now teary eyed. Taehyung sniffled and nodded although he knew his answer already.
"My mom ----"
Jungkook murmured looking down and continued.
"My mom Jeon Eun-jung and my father Jeon Jaehwa married each other because of my maternal grandfather's will. My dad used to work for my grandfather. He was a talented young man with excellent skills but belonged to a poor family. My grandfather saw the talent in him and made him his manager. At a young age of twenty four he was already the manager of a famous company.
He worked hard and my grandfather was impressed by him. He thought he was a perfect man whom he can rely on. He had no son just a daughter, my mom. So without even consulting his own daughter he put the proposal in front of my dad to marry his daughter. Without another word my dad agreed.
The old man thought it was because of his humble behaviour and loyality to him but forgot that people always tend to mask their real intensions behind their sweet smiles. My father never worked hard for my grandfather all he was doing was for himself. He was getting paid and was respected in the company so he just continued to do his best so that he won't be replaced by someone else.
At least my grandfather didn't give him everything. He handed over the business to his son-in-law apparently but behind the doors he made sure that his daughter won't suffer."
Jungkook raised his head to look at Taehyung who was keenly listening to him, he softly smiled at his adorable baby and gave him a soft peck. Taehyung blushed and pushed him slightly and muttered a small 'continue'. Jungkook chuckled and nodded.
"In all documents it was made sure that Jeon Jaehwa only got 15% of shares. And my mother got 65% while rest 20% were owned by his business partners. So that means my father was nothing without my mother. That's why he never left her."
"But she decided to leave." He whispered to himself.
