A day after her untimely death, Hanasato Minori's spirit ascended from her corpse and flew upwards towards the fluffy white clouds of a perfect blue sky. She was unconscious until she finally arrived upon one of the clouds where two angels stood.

  "Oh great, another one died..." The pink haired angel sighed with frustration, her arms crossed.

  "Yay! A new friend!" The light blue haired angel cheered, clasping her hands together as she smiled with joy, her wings flapping a little with excitement.

  "That's not a good thing!" The former yelled at girlfriend.

  Hearing the voices, the brown haired girl slowly blinked open her grey eyes. All she could see was blue sky until the two girls heads then came into her vision as they peered over her head.

  "She's waking up!" The blue haired angel gasped.

  The pink haired angel rolled her eyes as she was pointing out the obvious before the two girls then reached out their hands tp her. Minori took both of them and they lifted her up.

  "Thank you!" The brown haired girl beamed at them with gratitude as she bowed.

  "You're welcome, and it's nice to meet you!" The light blue haired angel replied.

  It took a few seconds for Minori to realise what was happening. She hadn't realised straight away that she was stood utop a cloud with two girls that had golden halos shining above their heads and feathered wings spouting from their backs. Once she did, however, her happiness quickly turned to panic.

  "What's going on?!" She exclaimed, looking around frantically for her green haired friend, "Where is Nene-chan?!"

  "I have no idea who 'Nene-chan' is but you my friend have reached the pearly gates of Heaven!" The pink haired girk announced briskly, "My name is Momoi Airi and my girlfriend here is Hinomori Shizuku!"

  "I'm dead?!" Minori shrieked, not fully taking in all of the information, but if she had, she would have recognised both of their names as those two angels used to perform a lot on the village stage and were rivals to Kiritani Haruka.

  She then looked up to find a golden halo also shining above her brown hair and turned her head to see her feathered wings spouting from her back too, just like they had.

  "I'm guessing you probably died during the invasion on the village of the Tenma Kingdom yesterday, right?" Airi questioned, pointing at the girl's chest.

  Minori looked down to see the scar on her chest that had gold blood stained around it, and then nodded with a sad look on her face.

  "Us too, we were on the village's stage when it was set on fire and Airi tried to save me but... we didn't make it off in time..." Shizuku explained, looking down at her and her girlfriend's feet that swelled with a golden colour.

  Suddenly, another angel came flying over to the three girls. She had short, dark blue eyes and Minori could tell instantly who it was as she landed.

  "Has another one died from the invasion?" The angel who had just arrived asked.

  The angelic couple nodded.

  "Kiritani Haruka?! Is that you?!" Minori beamed at her, the brown haired girl's cheeks blushing pink and her wings flapping frantically as if she could now stim with them instead of her hands.

  "Y-yes," Haruka responded, taken aback by the sudden recognition as she wings raised up, "D-do I know you?"

  "N-no, but my name is Hanasato Minori and I'm your number one fan!" She responded, blushing even more now as she tried not to act nervous in front of her idol.

  "O-oh, well it's nice to meet you, Minori," The dark blue haired smiled and relaxed the tenseness of her wings.

  Minori felt like she was having the best lucid dream ever but then she quickly remembered how this wasn't a drew and how she wasn't with Nene and couldn't experience this with her, and that she might not ever see her again...

  "Ummmm... do any of you know if there is a way I can visit someone who is still alive?" She then asked, her wing flapping coming to a stop so she could focuse.

  All three of the angels pondered the query, and then shrugged their shoulders and wings after the thought.

  "That's more of a question to ask our divine goddess," Haruka replied, and then suggested, "Maybe try and summon her and ask the question?"

  "You mean Hatsune Miku?" The brown haired girl questioned.

  All three of the angels nodded and so she nodded back with a smile.

  With that, Minori closed her eyes and began to sing a song she had heard many times during her childhood that was often connected with the goddess. Haruka, Airi and Shizuki all knew the melody too and so began to harmonise along with the girl, all four praying as they did.

  Soon enough, a blinding light beamed down in the middle of where the four angels stood. Minori squinted her eyes open to peak above, and there she saw a ethereal figure glow as they lowered down, their feathered wings, hair and puffy dress fluttering as an angelic symphony could be heard nearby.

  After the figure landed, the four girls opened their eyes fully to find the omnipotent and omnibenevolent goddess Hatsune Miku stood before them. She looked just as she did in the storybooks and paintings all of them used to see a lot as children with her iconic teal pigtails and about the same age as the girls themselves.

  "Hello Hanasato Minori," The goddess said as she looked into the grey eyes of the brown haired girl, smiling as she did.

  "Oh my goodness!" Minori beamed and then briskly did a bow and curtesy, the other three girls copying, "Hello Hatsune Miku! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

  "It's a pleasure to meet you too," Miku responded, "Now then, I've heard you have a question for me and I would be delighted to answer."

  "Well, I was wondering if I can go back down to Earth and see my best friend Kusanagi Nene again, please?" The brown haired girl asked, praying internally for the goddess' aproval as she wings began to flap again.

  "I'm sorry but I cannot grant you back your human body and allow you to see your friend again," The teal haired goddess denied, shaking her head with a sad frown on her face.

  "Please Hatsune Miku!" Minori begged on her knees, "I don't mind not being able to live down below again, I just want to visit Nene-chan, even just once, in my angel form!"

  Hatsune Miku pondered the pleading.

  "Very well, as I do know how much your dear friend is suffering..." She finally accepted.

  "Yes!" The brown haired girl cheered before then fully taking in the whole statement and she stopped stimming with her wings, "Wait, Nene-chan is suffering?"

  "Indeed," the goddess nodded, "She's struggling a lot without you by her side..."

  Suddenly, a segment of the cloud the five girls stood upon parted a little to make a hole. Minori flew over and peered down it, the three angels and goddess doing the same as they all stood beside her.

  She looked down to find Nene getting dressed into her new outfit before cutting her hair. The green haired girl then used the goddess' name in vain before she angrily left the changing room to meet the other knights. Minori was very upset to see this, especially when she then turned to Miku who felt a stabbing pain in her stomach from her dear friend's cursing.

  "Nene-chan, I've always told you revenge isn't the answer" Minori sighed sadly as she remembered a conversation the two once had about what the other were to do if one of them was to be murdered.

  The four girls gathered around her and gave reassuring pats on her shoulders and hugs of comforting. She smiled at the kind gesture before turning to Miku before asking, "How long will it take for me to visit her?"

  "Well, first of all you have to take trials in order to be able to visit her, and that can take a year to complete..." Hatsune Miku explained.

  "A whole year?!" Minori exclaimed, "Nene-chan can't go on like this for that long!"

  "Well, if you try really hard during the trials, you may be able to see her sooner, but that all comes down to you," The goddess stated.

  "I'll do anything to help her!" Minori put a hand to her heart, "And I will do my very best!"

  "Very well then," The goddess nodded, "Let the trials begin!"...
