I narrowly dodged a deadly punch to the gut, this guy wasn't fooling around.

Yesterday's predictions of today were totally off, so far this day has been worse than hell but that's the danger of damaged people they can make hell feel like home; and I've been living there for over ten years.

So let me tell you what I've been up to since six this morning I've been training brutally with Tiger, the martial arts specialist. He is a very heavy hitter and I'm having to work my butt off while he just glides around like this is a walk in the park. He sweeps his leg under me and I barely manage to jump over it.

My quirk's energy ran out a while ago, I'm running on pure stamina now. I manage to land a hit on his shoulder and due to the nature of the hit his arm flopped down, rendering it useless.

I tiredly smirk and aim for the next pressure point but Tiger caught on to my plan and skilfully catches my fist and throws me down on the ground like I'm some fish being prepared to be gutted and baked.

He doesn't let me even catch a measly breath before he prepares his next attack. He tries to stomp on me but I avoid his foot by rolling onto my stomach and I hurriedly stand up.

I try to catch his eyes, so I can activate Analyst, but they are covered with a standard hero mask so my original quirk is proved useless in this situation. We dance around waiting for the next person to make a mistake..

He lunged at me trying to pin me to the ground, he finally made a mistake! I duck under his fist and pound my knee into his gut and throw him to the floor, I win!

Not.

He pulls me down with him and puts me in a headlock. After five minutes I finally tap out, and he releases me from his iron grip.
Tiger pants with exhaustion, his face is bright red.

I slump down on to the ground making more noise than a steam train.

"That was pretty good kid." Tiger said with surprise in his voice.
I just nod as I shakily stand up and make my way towards him. I forcefully sit him down and start to massage his back to loosen the muscles in his arm and shoulder.

"You didn't need to do that but thanks punching bag." He yells at me while I just grit my teeth in annoyance and try to stop myself from breaking his neck.

Soon he was back on his feet and ready to go but then a loud whistle interrupted his energised rant.

"That's lunch." Mandalay said with a soft smile on her face, but we had painfully learned this morning not to trust that smile, so we all tiredly, but apprehensively, made our way towards her. Some of my other classmates were in an even worse condition than I was and Class B... well they looked like they had battled death itself.

Thankfully we were just being paranoid and Mandalay didn't have any sneaky or surprise workouts for us to do, she just led us to the kitchen where our lunch ingredients were all set out. We each made our own sandwiches and went back outside to eat. We hungrily shoved the sandwiches in our mouths never wanting Lunch time to end.

But it did, and we had to back to the excruciating quirk training.

We slowly trudged back to the main building where Ragdoll and Pixie-Bob were waiting there with our unprepared dinner. I could barely hear what they were saying, it was something about curry and making it ourselves and then Iida was yelling encouraging words.

Todoroki lights all the fires using his quirk and the girls prepare the veggies with the expert help of Bakugo and Shinso. While I and a few others prepare the meat.
But I can barely do anything because my vision is blurry, and I am very disoriented.

I can't go on this. I need...Kaminari Denki....need to recharge.

I somehow manage to walk over to him in a straight line and lightly tap him on the shoulder. He turns around and is surprised to see me behind him. "Oh hey Izuku what's wrong?" He says tiredly, he too pushed himself to the limit.

"Help...energy." I am barely able to form proper sentences!
Thankfully he understands and charges up a small amount of electricity in his hands before placing them on my back.

"Oi dumbass what the hell are you doing?!" Bakugo hoarsely yells at him.

"Isn't it obvious. I'm charging him." Kaminari says with a yawn. Bakugo opens his mouth to comment, but he closes it again. Thank goodness.

After he finished charging me I am finally able to function properly.

"Next time don't go so overboard." Kaminari grumbles at me. I just smile at him and softly apologise before scurrying back to my station.

"Hey Kaminari, you and Midoriya seem extremely close lately." Sero says to his best friend with a sceptical look on his face.
"Uhh yeah, after the practical exams he offered to help me with my quirk since he and I have relatively similar quirks he could actually help and train me." He craftily lies with a dopey smile on his face.

Finally, the curry is done and my class eats like a pack of starved wolves even though the food is rather disgusting; as it was made by exhausted teenagers with most of them not even knowing the difference between a pot and a pan.

With our stomachs full we prepare to get ready for bed but our plans are thwarted by an evil man in a sleeping bag who has smug grin on his face. We groan as we are dragged outside but our spirits are instantly lifted when Mandalay and Pixie-Bob announce we will be doing a fun test of courage with Class B.
My class rejoices but the people who are thrilled about it the most get dragged off by Aizawa for their special summer classes.

I almost start chuckling at the pure despair that is on their faces.

We are put into teams of two but due to the uneven numbers I'm all alone, which is perfect.
Although I am not particularly thrilled about the competition, I am excited but for a completely different reason.

We follow Mandalay to a small clearing, and she sends off the first five teams. There are a few screams here and there but it's mostly quiet but then suddenly thick, black smoke rises into the air and demonic-like blue flames slowly come into view and the screams grow louder and even more terrified them before.

A huge rip of purple smoke breaks the scenery and Spinner, Magne and Mr Compress emerge from the ominous portal.
