Bight Smiles
I'm heard the low rumble of my sisters car as it pulled up onto the curb. I turned my head slightly to the right. I saw my sister in her car smiled and laughing brightly. Her glasses were sliding down her face until it was on her nose. She looked so happy.
Next to her was someone who was bending over, mouth gaping with a deep laugh and their silky chocolate brown swung down to cover their face. The sun filtering through the windows of my sister car made her and the person next to her hairs shine a beautiful brown and red glow. They were laughing and just having a good time.
I smiled at the sight of her so happy and bubbly. She wasn't like that often. Ever since she had broken up with Grace. She had been so sad when she had broken up with that girl. I sighed. I looked to Max how was staring intently at me. His face was a mask but I could tell he was glad to see me smile. My sister stepped out of her car with a bright face. She pushed up her thin purple glasses which complemented her dark brown eyes. Her face was so bright. Her tag along, who I had realized was her best friend Nicole, was still laughing a bit. There was a a third friend who stepped out of the sleek black car. This one had green glasses that were a few shades brighter than her brilliant green eyes. She had luxurious platinum blond hair. I recognized her. She was a relatively new friend of my sister but she was one of her best.
"Lucia!!" I shouted to my sister. She looked to me. She grinned widely at me. She swung her head left and right to check for a car. When seeing none she rushed over to me and leapt into my arms. I hugged her tightly. Suddenly someone was gripping each of me sides. "O-oh! Hi Nicole! Claire! How are you guys?" I ask brightly.
"Good!" They said in harmony. I laughed. All three of them finally stopped hugging me and stepped back with cheesy smiles. I studied them with their new bubblieness. Nicole was short and lanky. Her face was well rounded but long. She had white teeth with the smallest hint of yellow. Freckles were all over her face, reaching up to splatter across her ears. She had beautiful brown eyes that were almost the same color as her hair, but just a few shades lighter. Her eyes were shining, framed by chocolate brown hair that shown golden in the sunlight. She was about five inches shorter then Lucia. Claire had the most beautiful hair that was almost white. Her skin was pale with one or two freckles dotted here and there. Her green eyes burned against her pale skin, perfect for its shade. Her glasses went perfectly with her eyes and skin. She was the shortest of the group but only by an inch. She had bright white teeth with silver and green braces on the bottom and top row.
Now, Lucia. Lucia was the most beautiful of them all. She was tall. Almost as tall as me, just shorter by an inch. Her hair was a bright ginger that shown fire red now. Her eyes were a deep almost black brown with a thin line of gold around her pupil. The doctors hadn't been able to explain it. She was just like that. She had freckles all over her face. Her teeth were straight white with not even a dot of yellow. She had dimples and soft smile lines at the edge of her eyes and corners of her mouth. She had a small silver nose piercing on her right nostril that shone calmly. She had little earrings that hung from her ears shaped like buttons. She had a hourglass shape to her with a long legs. She was absolutely stunning.
I soon realized that Max too was staring at her. But more specifically, at her strong arms and long legs. Legs built for kicking and running. An evil grin flashed across his handsome face, but it was only there for and instant before it changed to a warm smile. A cold shiver slipped down my back but I ignored it. He was an okay guy. He was an okay guy. But if I had to keep telling myself, was it really true?
I shook off the thought. I opened my mouth to introduce Max and Lucia to each other but was interrupted by the loud screech along pavement. I looked over startled at the sound. There was a small white car sitting on the curb that hadn't been there before. Max grinned. He looked at me with a handsome smile and then ran over to the car.
He swung open the door to the car and dove in. His legs were hanging out slightly. They slowly started to come back to the ground, when I heard a rough grunting coming from the car. It was NOT Max's voice. I looked into the windows but they were blacked out. Max was finally standing there with a boy in his arms. The poor little guy was hanging by his shirt. He was now staring at me, Lucia, Nicole, and Claire. But his eyes were trying to go behind me. He was staring at Lucia. He blushed and opened his mouth, showing white teeth that some how appeared more white than Lucia's which were spotless.
"Hi! I'm Deklan."
