AK Building.

Khushi's Penthouse.

It was already past lunch time so the small family had their lunch. They ate  their lunch with joy and laughter because of Aarushi's cute antics.
After that they moved to the living room

The three adult sat down to catch up on lost time. Aarushi was playing with her Pomeranian puppy leaving the adults to talk. Rohan then broke the silence.

"Didi threatened someone today. " Rohan  said with a smirk on his face while Khushi glared at him and Meera sat in her seat shocked while looking at her big sister for answered.

"I didn't threaten anyone but rather warned the person. " Khushi explained.

"Who? " Meera asked curiously.

"Arnav Singh Raizada. " Khushi replied shocking Meera and Rohan.

"What! " They shouted in unison.

"Yes..... I had to because he was in danger of being deceived by that limp. " Khushi explained.

"How was he in danger. " Rohan asked.

"Do you remember when I told you I was going to the washroom" Rohan nodded. " I wanted to pee and when I was done and was about to flash the toilet.... But then I heard a familiar voice of someone I knew....And that person had just entered and was speaking on the phone.... I wasn't sure but immediately I heard the name Anjali.... I knew it was the person I suspected. " Khushi said.

"Who was the person talking on the phone with that witch?.... And what where they talking about" Meera asked

"It was Lavanya.... Arnav's ex..... And Anjali had called her to come back and seduce Arnav in order for him to forget me, that way Arnav will come back to her. But Lavanya said it will be impossible since Arnav now hates Anjali for plotting against me..... I have no idea what plot she was talking about but then I can't let them use him again.... So I made Rohan buy me an unregistered sim card and I warned him about Lavanya..... I just hope he takes it seriously. " Khushi replied.

"That witch is really relentless.... She doesn't give up. " Meera said and there was immediate silence after that.

Meera turned her head to Rohan and realized he was lost in thought. And snapped her fingers in his face breaking his reverie.

"Where are you lost? " Meera asked Rohan.

"Khushi didi.... What if the plot was about the suicide?.... What if it was all planned?..... And after you left Arnav found out about it... If indeed her suicide was staged then Arnav was manipulated against you.... Because you told us he hasn't gotten over his mother's suicide and after pressuring him he finally agreed to see a therapist and he just began the same week as that witch's suicide attempt..... If so then he doesn't deserve you hatred.... " Rohan replied and Khushi and Meera realized he was right.

"Even if that was so..... He shouldn't have called me the biggest mistake of his life. "Meera was about to retort but Khushi stopped her. " Enough.... I don't want to hear you two trying to defend him.... Because of his mistake I lost my Arush and for that he deserves my hatred. " Khushi said in anger and agony and walked away to her room.
A few seconds later she emerged with a scarf over her head and sunglass  covering her eyes.

Meera and Rohan stood up seeing her like that.

"Didi... Where are you going? " Meera asked.

"Didi.... Please forgive us... We didn't mean to upset you. " Rohan apologized.

And Khushi sighed knowing that she was too harsh on them.

"I should be the one to apologize... I shouldn't have reacted that way.... And for that am sorry but please let not talk about Arnav again...... And Meera.... I am going to Laxmi Nagar. " Khushi said.

"But didi... What if they see you? "Rohan asked worried about his sister.

" I am not going to meet him.... I just want to see him that's all.... And I doubt any one will recognize me in this outfit. " Khushi replied.

Immediately she was done Aarushi who has been engrossed in her play time with her puppy turned around to see her mother and she immediately knew she was going out.

"Mummy.... Can I come with you. " She asked and Khushi with a smile on her face kneeled to her level and said.

"Am sorry baby.... You can't cone with mummy because where am going is not good for kids. " Khushi replied.

"Okay.... Mummy.... But can I go and play with Sugar (the puppy) At the playground. " Aaru asked.

"What playground? " A confused Khushi asked.

"There is a playground opposite the parking lot for the kids in the building. " Rohan replied

"But why didn't I see it. " Khushi asked because she did see it on their way to the penthouse.

"It because you were lost in thought. " Rohan replied in a matter of fact and Khushi sighed.

"Okay baby.... You can go with Meera and Rohan.... And be a good girl okay. " Khushi said to Aarushi nodded with a smile and run to her room and took her play bag and placed her Gtouch tablet

and Sugar's leash in it and came back to the living room and started pulling Meera and Rohan out of the penthouse into the elevator to the last floor and into the playground which was designed like a play school with Khushi trailing behind. Khushi and Aarushi was introduced to the caretaker of the kids. She was a plumb middle aged woman who kept on pulling Aarushi's cheeks much to her dislike.  Khushi after being satisfied with the environment, sat in her car and waved the good bye before driving off. Meera and Rohan left Aarushi with the woman whose name happens to be Sonam but Aarushi called her Moti chachi and Meera and Rohan promised to came to pick  her up in  three hours time.

Aarushi was playing fetch with Sugar when a black Escalade passed by the playground grabbing the attention of Aarushi. Out of it come Arnav and Aman who had returned from one of the restaurants after having their lunch. Aarushi gasped seeing her father. She had seen his picture in her mother's drawer but never knew she would see him in person. She wanted to run to her father but she knew this Moti chachi will not let her and so she  watched in disappointment as Arnav and Aman walked into the building.

Immediately Arnav and Aman entered the lobby. Aman moved to the receptionist. Making Arnav who was moving to the elevator confused.

"Aman.... Where the hell are you going. " Arnav asked annoyed seeing Aman moving closer to the receptionist. He turned and answered in a dreamy way.

"Am going to find the room of my future wife and your future bhabhi. "

Arnav rolled his eyes at Aman who hasn't stopped talking about the girl he met this morning. He then left to his penthouse.

Meanwhile Aarushi was thinking of ways to escape from the hawk eye of Sonam who was sitting at the only entrance and exit of the playground but didn't find one but then luck was on her side when two kids started fighting causing Sonam to move away from the door and without any second thought she run out of the playground into the the building with Sugar trailing behind her. 

Immediately she entered the building, she started looking around for Arnav but couldn't find him. She was about to give up when she saw Aman moving away from the receptionist. And she run over to him as fast as her little legs could carry her and stood right in front of Aman who was halted in his tracks by her action.
Aman looked down to find cute and beautiful little girl looking at him. He kneeled to her level and asked.

"Hi princess..... Where are your parents? "

"Where ish ma daddy? " Aarushi asked making Aman confused.

"Who is your daddy? " Aman asked and Aarushi hit her forehead with her hand and shook it at the dumb question this uncle was asking her when he just walked in with her father.

"Hey Devi Maya.... Why you ask me who ish ma daddy when you just walked in here with him. " Aarushi said and Aman realized he had confused Arnav with her father. Only if he knew she was indeed telling the truth and she was about to proof him wrong.

"Oh... You mean Arnav. "

"Yesh...  He ish ma daddy. "

"No dear..... He is not"

"Yesh he ish. "

"No... He is not. " Aman replied getting irritated by Aarushi and Aarushi who knew she was wasting her time arguing with this dumb uncle thought to proof him wrong.

So she took out her Gtouch tablet from her bag and switch it on and handed it to Aman.
Aman looked at the picture used as the screen saver in shock. It was a picture of his Khushi bhabhi and the little girl in front of him. He looked at the little girl closely and now realised she had a mixture of his best friend and bhabhi's feature.
Aarushi smirked knowing she had proven him wrong.

"That ish ma mummy....  Tushi Tumari Gupta.... And ma daddy ish Nannav Sing Waijada.... And I want to meet ma daddy now. " Aarushi said proudly with pride and attitude making Aman chuckle with tears in his eyes. After a little enquires from Aarushi, he realised they were living just opposite each other but he decided to let Arnav know about his daughter first before Khushi because he knows she will be angry at Arnav.

Aman agreed and scooped Aarushi and Sugar in his arms and headed to his and Arnav's penthouse. Immediately he entered he found Arnav relaxed on the couch watching Pocahontas. Yes the great ASR was watching an animation cartoons. A habit he has cultivated because of his crazy but lovely wife who use to force him to watch them cartoons and now he has become addicted to it. Arnav moved his eyes away from the television to Aman who was standing at the entrance with a cute and beautiful little girl. Aman's eyes were teared up and the little girl in his arms started wiggling to get down and he place her gently on the floor. Aarushi run over to Arnav with an adorable smile making Arnav heart melt for some unknown reason he felt that was his beloved wife smiling at him and he picked her up and placed her on his lap. Aarushi without thinking twice snaked both arms around her father's neck and hugged him. Arnav reciprocated and closed his eyes enjoying Aarushi's warm. He was hugging a child for the first time in his life. Even though Shivani lived in the same house as him before he left. He had never hugged her. Because he has never been fond of kids. But with this little girl he felt different, not bad different but good kind of different. He looked over Aarushi's shoulder to see Aman holding a tablet with Khushi and the little girl on it. He was shocked and instinctively knew he was hugging his daughter. He and Khushi had a daughter, the symbol of their love, half of each of them made into a whole. Arnav's immediately tighten the hug suffocating Aarushi who started wiggling in his arms prompting Arnav to break the hug.

"Daddy... You almost squish me.... I know you mish me..... But am angly at you for not meeting me.... I know mummy angry at you because you fight.... " Aarushi said arms crossed  with anger and attitude. Arnav chuckled at her antics and immediately realised Aarushi thought he knew about her and did visit her. But surprisingly he wasn't angry as he knew he deserves Khushi's anger even if it was a misunderstanding and decided to take the blame for himself.

"Am soo sorry princess..... I wanted to visit you.... But then I wanted mummy to forgive me first.... And that way you won't get hurt here."Pointing to Aarushi's heart" So that's why I didn't visit you.... " Arnav answered and Aarushi nodded indicating she understands him. Arnav then noticed that even though Aarushi was about 3 years and a few months old, she was extremely intelligent and understanding. And it made him more proud.

"Princess..... Did mummy tell you we fought? " Arnav asked.

"No.... I hear mummy say it. "

That's when she began to explain how she found out about her father.

Flashback begins.

Aarushi who was told by her mother that her aunt and uncle were leaving to Delhi decided to draw them a picture as remembrance. After she finish she left to her mother's room where she knew her uncle and aunt were . She was about to enter the bedroom which was opened when she heard something that stopped her in her tracks.

"Aarushi's father is very handsome. " She heard her aunt Meera say while looking at a picture which her mother snatched from Meera and place it in her drawer.

"Don't talk about him..... Am very mad at him for hurting me. " Khushi said.

"In my opinion... I don't think he meant to hurt you.... You yourself said you love him and he loves you too.... So confront him and iron out your problems... Because Aaru is growing and needs her father.... Let go off your anger.... And since he still live in Delhi.... You should meet him and straighten things out since you and Aaru will be joining us in a few days" Meera said to her mother. But Khushi walked out on them and Aarushi seeing her mother coming out run and hid behind the pillar and watched as her mother walked off with her aunt and uncle trailing behind.

After they disappeared, she went into her mother's room and opened the drawer and saw the picture of her mother with a man and she knew that was her dad. She was seeing his picture for the first time since she started asking of her father especially when she realized all the girls at her play school came to school with their father's but when she ask her mother, she always says he was busy with work and that when he is done he will visit her.

"I meet you soon daddy and I scold you for hurting mummy. " Aarushi said and kissed the picture placed it back and run out to give the her drawing Meera.

Flashback ends.

When she was done explaining Aman was gawking at her amazed by this little creature's intelligence forgetting she was the daughter of Khushi and Arnav. The father - daughter duo kept on chatting and go to each other's dislikes and likes. Arnav realised she had his appetite for continental food which according to her made her mother angry but all she had to do was her puppy face and her mother melts. She loved jalebi like Khushi and was a little fashionista. Arnav's heart swell with happiness and pride but got nervous knowing he was finally going to meet Khushi. After almost an hour of unstop talking Aarushi fell asleep on her father's chest. Arnav picked her up and with nervous step moved out of his penthouse to Khushi's which was coincidentally on the same floor and opposite his.

Arnav rang the bell but no one answered. He was about to move back to his penthouse when he heard someone call his daughter's name in a distressed voice.

"Aarushi!!!! "

He turned and saw a lady with tears in her eyes and a young boy holding her for support. They both rushed to him but stopped realising who he was.

"ASR!!! " Both said in unison.

"Hi..... You must be Meera and Rohan...... Please can you open the door..... I need to put her to bed. " Arnav said pointing to a sleeping Aarushi.

A shocked Meera and Rohan who were about to call Khushi and tell her of Aarushi's disappearance, opened the door and lead Arnav into Aarushi's room.

Arnav placed Aarushi in middle of the bed but when he was about to lift himself up, he felt a tugged on his shirt and realised just like her mother, Aarushi was holding his collar in a tight grip. He smiled and gently removed her hand and covered her with the duvet and kissed her cheeks.

This  scene will turn the most heartless of all people into a kind person.

Arnav with much difficulty, moved out of the room to the living room.
Meera who was lost all this while turned and saw Aman. She was about to speak when the door opened and in entered Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada. Immediately she entered she came face to face  with the most familiar and unexpected faces.
