Six Weeks Later.

In these six weeks a lot of things has changed in the lives of the Raizadas and Gupta family.
Meera and Aman were engaged to be married in a week's time. Arnav and Khushi were also to get married again on the same day as Aman and Meera. Akash and Lavanya's friendship has now blossomed into love which everyone knows but the duo are hesitant to admit out of fear of rejection. Lavanya has over the cause of this weeks became an amazing mother to Shivani and no longer feels uncomfortable when she calls her mummy. Shashi also reconnected with his childhood crush Shalini.

Both loved each other and always wanted to get married but Shalini's parents didn't want their daughter to marry a sweet shop owner and forced her to marry a rich man who was a womanizer.

Both reconnected two weeks ago and instantly bounded because of  their pain caused by their respective cheating partners. Shashi is planning on introducing her to the family after Aman,  Meera and Arshi's wedding.
Aarushi and Shivani's cute and naughty antics has filled Shantivan with laughter and joy. Dadi and Manohar prayed that no evil snatch away their happiness again.

But the today, they will finally close the chapters of the three witches and Lavanya's parents who were arrested a day after arrest of the three witches and their accomplices. They were charged for human trafficking, abuse and blackmail. Both case will be held on the same day, at the same court house but different rooms.

Arshi, Aman, Meera, Akash, Lavanya, Dadi, Manohar and Shashi got to the court house with must ease thanks to their efficient bodyguards who pushed their way through the paparazzi and media who won't let such an opportunity go.

They kids were left at home with Rohan, HP and his brothers.
Immediately they entered Lavanya's lawyer came closer to tell Lavanya her the case against her parents is about to start so she bid goodbye to them and was leaving when Akash called out her name making her stop in her tracks and face him.

Akash moved closer and held Lavanya's hands and rubbed it with his thumbs.

"Lavanya.... Please consider my offer of accompanying you.... I want to be by your side... Please. " Akash pleaded again hoping Lavanya will change her mind of doing this alone.

"Akash..... I still stand by my word to do this alone.... I need to face them alone.... Please understand.... You have to there for your mother's hearing.... Okay. " Lavanya said and Akash sighed in defeat.

"Okay.... I understand... But have you phone on you all the time.... Mine will also be with me so text me if you need any help.... Okay. " Akash said and Lavanya nodded and then Akash kissed her forehead gently and let his lips linger on her forehead for a few seconds as if drinking her in.

The lawyer called out to Lavanya breaking their position and she left with her lawyer. Akash watched on as she disappeared into the elevator leading up to where her case will be read.

"When are going to finally tell Lavanya how you will about her? " Arnav asked breaking his reverie.

Akash turned and looked at the other.

"I want to but I'm scared she will reject me and if she does.... I will lose her and so will Shivani.... I can't leave with the guilt of breaking the trust of Lavanya and Shishi's heart.... She only let go of her insecurities of being around us  recently and I don't what to fail her..... So I will love her in silence. " Akash replied and they understood his point of view. But Khushi and Meera who knew Lavanya loved Akash just like he did, weren't going to give up.

"Akash bhai.... You are making a big mistake if you don't tell her how you feel. " Meera said making Akash confused.

"What do you mean? " Akash asked.

"What Meera is saying is that Lavanya also loves you.... We always speak about you when we girls are together and she always blushes when she hears your name... A clear indication that she loves you too.. But you have to make the first move. " Khushi replied making Akash smile.

"Really bhabhi (Khushi nodded) wow I thought she just considered me as just a friend.... " Akash exclaimed in happiness.

"Dumbo.... Didn't see the way she blushed everytime you spoke to her.... It should have been a clear indication that she likes you too.... Have you ever seen a woman blush while speaking to her male friend if it's only friendship. " Arnav voiced out glaring at Akash who scratched his head in embarrassment and everyone chuckled.

"And Akash.... You better tell her quickly or else she will tie a Rakhi on your hand. " Aman said staring at Meera who glared back at Aman who was smirking at her and the others laughed remembering what Meera did.

"Okay.... I will tell her after Shivani's birthday..... You have no idea how great I feel knowing tomorrow is her fourth birthday.... After Shivani's birthday, I will ask her out on a date and both will be a great distraction  for her. " Akash said in excitement.

Mr Roy then came up to them to call them in as it was about to start. They all entered and sat down and immediately after that the three witches and their accomplices entered. The three witches glared at them but they care less. As for Nani, Mami and Buaji they bowed their heads in shame unable to meet their eyes.

Fast forward to the sentence.

After much deliberation, evidences and arguments the judge was finally ready to announce his verdict.

Everyone sat down in silence waiting for the judge to pronounce his sentence.

" After much deliberation the court find Miss Anjali Malik guilty of first degree murder of Arush Gupta Singh Raizada and will be sentenced to 25 years in prison.. She has also been found guilty of extortion and blackmail which she will serve a ten years sentence making it thirty five years in total.... She is to serve all sentence without a possibility of parole. ( A shocked Anjali started yelling not believing she had to send such a long sentence and started hauling abusive words to everyone including the judge.) Silence Miss Malik or I increase your sentence. (That was enough to shut her up)  Now back to the our agenda.... Miss Payal Malik is also found guilty of second degree murder for the death of Arush Gupta Singh Raizada and sentenced to fifteen years in prison.... She is also guilty of conspiracy to commit murder against Mr Arnav Singh Raizada and for that she is sentenced to fifteen years in prison... She is also guilty of extortion and blackmail and is to serve a sentence of ten years.... She is to serve her entire sentence without the possibility of parole. (Payal who had been in shock since Abhishek's betrayal stood there in silence.) Miss Garima Sharma.... Is found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to fifteen years and an additional ten years for blackmail and extortion. (Garima looked at Arnav and the others in anger seeing her daughters suffer and vowed to destroy them) Mrs Devyani Singh Raizada... Considering you age and health issues.... You are sentenced to Four months of community service. (Nani nodded)  Miss Madhumati Gupta..... Your are sentenced to five years in prison for being an accessory to murder....... Mrs Manorama Singh Raizada you also will serve five years for being an accessory to murder....... Case closed. " The judge   delivered his verdict and then left. Mami and the others were handcuffed.

Mami and buaji pleaded with the officer to speak to Arnav and the others.

"Am so sorry for everything I did.... I know I don't deserve any of your forgiveness.... That's why I have decided to go away after my sentence and give divorce to Manohar..... Again  very sorry. " Mami apologized sincerely.

"I'm also sorry for everything I didn't mean to do what I did please find it in your heart to forgive me I will never bother you anymore" Madhumati also said sincerely and they were taken away.

Payal ,Garima and Anjali who saw them frown in anger  and Payal tried to attack Akash but was dragged away and she yelled.

"I won't leave you all.... Akash.... I will be back for my revenge... I promise you.... You will regret betraying me with that lavanya.... I will kill you two for snatching my daughter from and making her hate.... I will get my revenge" Payal yelled.

"Enjoy while you can.... I and my daughters will be back for our revenge. " Garima spat out venomously as she was taken away.

Everyone shook their head seeing that they will never change even after everything. But they were not going to let them ruin their mood because tomorrow is Shivani's birthday.

"Am not satisfied with their sentence. " Meera who was standing closer to Khushi said with a frown on her face and her arms folded looking grumpy making everyone smile.

"Why is that baby? " Aman asked who was standing closer to Arnav

"I wanted to torture them soo much.... I had so many torture methods for them..... From dipping their heads in chilled water to hanging them upside down for days..... So many but then this happened. " Meera replied scaring Aman who leaned closer to Arnav and whispered only to him.

"Buddy..... This your sister is deadly but she looks so cute and adorable when she goes full psycho mood and makes me love her more.... I think am going crazy. "

Arnav chuckled and elbowed Aman in his stomach making him groan in pain. Meera glared at Aman knowing he was teasing her and he diverted his gaze away from her. Everyone laughed but soon their reverie was broken by yelling outside and moved out of the court to find Lavanya's parents hauling abusive words at Lavanya stood there with tears in her eyes.
Akash started fuming seeing this and yelled.

"Enough."

He then marched up to Lavanya and wipped the tears off her face and hugged. Arnav marched up to Lavanya's parents making them shiver in fear.

"Shame on both of you.... Don't you have any shame left in you after everything you did to her..... " Arnav barked making them flinch.

"Officer you better take these shameless people out of here before I pluck their eyes out. " Meera said in anger.

"And Mr and Mrs Kashyap my baby sister doesn't bluff.... She says and does it too.... And don't you dare think Lavanya is alone.... She has us.... Her new family and better than you two will ever be.... Get them out of my sight. " Khushi yelled and Lavanya's parent went way from there not wanting to face the wrath of the family.

Lavanya then stopped crying and wiped her tears as she broke the hug.

"Lavanya... Whatever they may have said about you is not true.... Don't let their words control you any more... I hope they were given a fair sentence. " Akash asked.

"Yes they were sentenced to eleven years in prison and that man they sold me too was discovered to be a hardcore criminal, his case will be judged on a different day but from what I heard he will be sentenced to death because of the magnitude of his crimes. " Lavanya said and all sighed in relief.

They all then moved out of the court house and back home to meet Aarushi and Shivani giving HP and his brothers and Rohan a tough time.
Apparently they gave them too much sugar and the already hyperactive girls have been triggered because of sugar rush.

Everyone laughed at them especially when they told them not to give them sugary stuff but they didn't listen. Having enough , Arnav and Akash took the kids away to bath them as Khushi and the others went into the kitchen to prepare dinner as it was late. They all had their dinner and afterwards put the kids to sleep and then prepare for tomorrow's birthday party . All in all Lavanya was lost in thoughts because of what her parents said to her, she couldn't believe they could be as heartless as this and she decided that she was finally going to leave Akash once and for all . All of this didn't go unnoticed by Akash but he kept quiet. He knew it was because of what Lavanya's parents said to her at the Courthouse and wished he knew what it was. The evening went well as everyone dispersed to their room to sleep for tomorrow's birthday. Shivani who found out about her birthday was very happy she couldn't wait for the day to come and was prepared to do anything as long as she got all the gifts she wanted on that day.

Around 12:30 a.m. Lavanya stood up from the bed and quietly brought out the suitcase she had secretly packed while the family were downstairs. She moved over to Akash who was sleeping on the floor and kneeled with tears in her eyes.
She then remembered a conversation she had with Akash a week ago.

Flashback begins.

Lavanya had just put Shivani to sleep and went out to the garden for some evening fresh air when she saw Akash lying on the grass with hands under his head looking at the night sky.

"Stargazing." Lavanya asked breaking his reverie.
He turned and nodded and then  tapped closer to him indicating he wanted her to sit closer to her.  Lavanya sat closer to Akash and joined him in stargazing.

"Thank you Lavanya. " Akash said breaking her reverie.

"For what Akash? " Lavanya asked.

"For being there for Shivani... For giving her the love she didn't get from her mother.... Am used now to betray but my baby isn't.... Everyone wanted to use me for their own selfish needs.... Lavanya I know what I am about to ask you may sound selfish but I have to.... Please promise me you will never betray me like my mother and Payal.... Promise me you will always be with us. " Akash said and Lavanya smiled at him and said.

"I promise Akash.... I will never leave you or Shivani. "

Akash then helped her up and carried her bridal style in to the house.

Flashback ends.

She promised not to leave him and Shivani but here she is doing the opposite. She was so caught up in the love and happiness she received from all of them that she forgot she couldn't fulfill Shivani's request for a baby brother. She loved Akash and knew what Akash felt for her was as real as hers but now she has to face reality. And she thank her parent for reminding her.
She then remembered the event at the  courthouse.

Flashback begins.

After her parents sentence, she stood up and left when her mother called out to her.

"Lavanya.... Don't think you will ever be happy with that man... He is one of those single fathers who only want a woman to take care of their children and for them to warm their beds" Lavanya's mother spat out venomously.

"You are wrong mother.... Akash is different.... He loves me and I love him and he will never want me for what you just said.... I regret ever having parents like you..... And I hope to never see you for the rest of my life. " Lavanya boldly said surprising her parents who were shocked because she never back answered the and always did what they told her.

"Fine.... Even if he loves you... Don't forget you can never gave him a child because you are barren.... And I know that because he loves you he will want a child with you and when he finds out that you are barren.... He will leave you. " Lavanya's father reminded her and she closed her eyes remembering Shivani's request for a baby brother and knew her were right.

She opened her eyes and looked up to her parents and saw them smirking knowing they hit the bull's eye.

"You are useless Lavanya and you will forever be useless. " Her father yelled.

"If I had know you will be our downfall.... I would have aborted you.... I fell ashamed of ever giving birth to you. " Her mother barked in anger and that was when Akash arrived.

Flashback ends.

She then kissed Akash on the lips and Akash smiled in his sleep breaking Lavanya's heart even more.

"Am so sorry Akash.... I have to betray you.... I wish we had met under a different situation.... " Lavanya said and kissed his cheek.

With tears in her eyes she stood up and pulled a letter from the drawer by the bed and placed it on the bed in such a way that it will be the first thing Akash see when he wakes up and she picked up her suitcase and moved out of the room quietly.
