Everyone stood around Lavanya who was crying in Akash's arms in his room.
She had woken up after Meera vigorously shook her out of her unconscious state.
HP then rushed in and gave some water to Lavanya who drank it
without any breaks. After she calmed down Khushi sat closer to her and held her hand.

"Lavanya.... What did your parent do to you?..... And who is that monster you are talking about?" Khushi asked in a soft and concerned voice. Lavanya sighed and looked up.

" They sold me Khushi.... They sold me" Lavanya said in between sobs.

"What? " Everyone yelled in unison.

"Yes you heard me right..... My own parents sold me to pay off their debts.... A few weeks ago, Anjali called my parents with a proposal that I came back to India and seduce Arnav to forget Khushi in exchange for a huge sum of money..... I was appalled at her proposal but then the money was enough to pay off their debt and make them leave comfortable..... So I put forth a condition to my parents.... They will never contact me after its done.... And they agreed saying they never loved me anyway.... I was hurt but determined to go away from them so I agreed and the next day we were in India.... I drove straight to your penthouse ready to do the job.... But then you kicked me out and when I got to your apartment and when I told my parents ,they were furious and my father beat me up and locked me in the apartment saying it time to get rid of me once and for all.... I was scared and tried to escape but always got caught and beat up by him, so after a couple of try I stopped ..... They never left any chance or day slip by without taunting me for being a bad luck for them..... Three day ago my father came home with a strange looking man and told me I have to go with him to his house because the man bought me for a huge sum of money and that I have to marry him whether I like it or not.... I was shocked and refused but I got slapped  by the man.... He got furious and held my hand in a tight grip and asked my parents to leave us alone.... My mother asked what he was going to do with me and he said bluntly he was going to rape me.... Most parents will have jumped to the defense of their children but mine left me alone with that man.... He tried to force himself on me after my parent left but I kneed him in the groin and run away.... I didn't look back and that how I almost got run over by Akash. " Lavanya narrated in tears and Khushi hugged her.

The men were boiling in anger especially Akash while the women consoled her. Their reverie was broken by Shivani and Aarushi who rushed in with Shashi and Dadi  trailing behind. Both girls frown seeing tears in Lavanya's eyes.

Shivani rushed off to Lavanya and sat on her lap and wiped the tears from her eyes and kissed her cheeks making Lavanya and everyone smile.

"Mummy... You no cry.... I know baby grandma hurt you but don't worry me and Aalu will punish her and bad mummy soon.... Okay. " Shivani said and stood up from her lap and went over to Aarushi.

"Aalu see... Bad grandma and bad mummy make ma mummy cry.... We have to ma them cry too. " Shivani complained to her cousin who nodded.

"But how we make them cry? " Aarushi asked and both girls went into thinking mode.

The adults looked at them in amusement and immediately Aarushi's face lit up and whispered something into her cousin's ears and she smiled but it was a mischievous smile. They then hugged each other and started bouncing around making the others confused.

"Hey..... What are you two up to? " A curious Khushi asked.

"We no tell you mummy.... It a secuet (secret)  " Aarushi said and Shivani nodded supporting her cousin.

"Yes.. Yes.. Tushi aunty it's a secuet(secret)  so we no tell. (Turning to Lavanya) mummy no cry again okay.... You break ma heart if you cry so no cry okay. " Shivani said and asked Hariprakash to follow then and then run out with Aarushi and HP leaving the other in confusion and laughter.

"This kids are planning something really bad. " Shashi said and they all nodded.

Dad is moved closer to Lavanya and sat closer to her then Khushi stood up and went over to Arnav.

"Lavanya dear.... Why are you crying.... Did those witches say or do anything to hurt you? " Dadi is asked

"No dadi.... Lavanya is crying because of what her parents did to her. " Akash said gritting the words between his teeth an indication he was furious.

Dadi and Shashi looked at them confused and Arnav explained what happened shocking both.

"Am not surprised they did that after all we are surrounded by psychopaths.... But then still it shocks me how someone can stoop so low. " Shashi said and Dadi who was now hugging and comforting Lavanya turned to the boys and said.

"Aman....Arnav.... Rohan.... You three just vowed to protect Lavanya and this is your time to prove that.... I want them and that monster in jail immediately. "

"Don't worry Dadi.... They all won't get away with this that I promise you . " Arnav assured Dadi who nodded.

"But this could damage Lavanya's reputation... Am sure of that since Lavanya is well known by the media ,the arrest of her parents won't go unnoticed especially now that the media is involved. " Meera voiced out concerned about Lavanya's weak emotional state.

"You are right Meera.... I know you are concerned because of the psychological effects it will have on me but justice has to be served.... Know that there are girls like me out there who are used and abused by their parents just because they are females.... And I want to be an inspiration to them .... I know it will be difficult....  But am ready to face them and the media if need be. " Lavanya said with confidence making all proud of her and easing their concern for her.

They were all silent for sometime but then the silence was broken by a loud scream and they all rushed out to where the scream came from.

When they got to the hall, they saw Anjali and Payal on the floor whining and groaning in pain while rubbing their bottom.

A little farther away Shivani and Aarushi were laughing at their state. They then stopped and moved a little closer glaring at the duo.

"You make ma mummy cry... I make you cry. " Shivani said in anger flaring her nostrils.

"Yes.... You make ma Lala aunty cry again.... I and Shishi  make you cry too... Bad aunties. " Aarushi yelled glaring at them making Anjali and Payal shiver  because it was like they were seeing Arnav in her.

"That's my girl. " Arnav whispered in pride.

They others chuckled and moved closer to all of them making their presence known.
Shivani run into the arms of Lavanya and Aarushi into her father's. Payal and Anjali after a lot of struggle stood up. Their whole body was aching because of Arnav and now it has doubled because these two devils.

"Mummy see.... Bad mummy and bad aunty make you cry so I and Aalu make them cry too. " Shivani proudly said as if she had made the greatest achievement.

"Yes... Lala aunty.... Now they no mess with you. (Turning to Payal and Anjali) " You make ma Lala aunty cry again.... A make you cry. " Aarushi warned.

"Are you two responsible for this? " Lavanya asked in disappointment and both sensed the disappointment in Anjali's voice.

"Shut up Lavanya.... Don't pretend as if you don't know they did it.... I know you put my daughter up to this. " Payal yelled at Lavanya shocking her and making the cuties fume at the audacity of this bad woman who just yelled at Lavanya.

They other also felt the same.

"Payal is right.... You and Hariprakash planned this but used them as your pawn.... You just came here and you have managed to snatch our brother, Akash,  Shivani and the entire family from us.... So don't pretend to act innocent" Anjali exclaimed supporting Payal.

"What's going on here? " Nani who just came there with Mami and Buaji asked.

"Nani see.... Lavanya manipulated the kids to pour oil on the floor and then asked Hariprakash to call us here and in the process we fell down and now our whole body is aching. " Anjali said in tears trying to gain sympathy but all rolled their eyes at the drama.

"Enough Anjali..... I am not you Nani and will never be a Nani to a whore's offspring like you..... So don't you dare call me your Nani. " Nani yelled at Anjali.

"Since you two dare accuse my little sister... I have a punishment for you.... You will clean the entire mansion again and it starts now. " Arnav said in deadly tone making both shiver.

"But Arnav.... Our whole body is aching please spare us please. " Payal begged.

"No.... Now get back to work this very instant. " Arnav yelled and they run off to change and do their work.

Arnav then sat down on the couch and placed Aarushi down and asked shivani to come to him.

"What the two of you did was very bad.... Now promise me you won't do something like that again. " Arnav said to them and they nodded.

Jai Prakash came to call them for lunch.

"Yay..... Food. " Aarushi and Shivani squealed in excitement and run off to the dinning table making the other laugh and joined them.

Lunch went well without any problem. After lunch the kids run off to watch cartoons while the adults with the exception of Nani sat in the hall chatting. Dadi then excused herself.

In Nani's room, she sat on her bed holding the picture of Ratna and caressing it with tears in her eyes.

"Am so sorry Ratna.... I failed to take care of your son.... I rather spent the my love on a mistress's daughter and went as far as killing his son... I know I  did wrong but am happy you sent Khushi to Arnav or else he would have been a walking dead.... Sumi was the perfect mother for you.... She always loved you more than her sons and never failed to show it but my ego and hurt made me blind that night I sentenced your son. " Nani voiced out

"You are absolutely right.... I loved her so much that I killed for her. " Dadi confessed breaking Nani's reverie and shocking her.

Dadi then moved in and sat beside her on the bed and took the picture of Ratna from her and kissed it. Nani then realised she hasn't closed her door and that how her conversation was heard.

"Sumi.... What do you mean by killed for Ratna? " Nani asked.

"Yes.... I killed for Ratna and I don't feel sorry at all because I did good... If Arvind had lived, he would have married that whore and Arnav would have followed my Ratna. " Dadi replied caressing the picture of Ratna.

This shocked Nani, she knew Ratna was loved by Dadi but to kill for her was something she didn't except.

"Sumi.... If this is a joke then stop it... Arvind committed suicide like Ratna right? " Nani asked.

"No he didn't.... I killed him and made it look like a suicide.... That bastard I begotted didn't show up for my Ratna's past rites and when I decided to confront him.... He was more concerned about that whore... So I shot him in the head and made it look like he took his own life.... And I don't regret it one bit.... They only regret I have is not being able to save my Ratna on time because of was busy reprimanding Arvind and that whore. " Dadi confessed shocking Nani.

"I knew you loved my daughter but never knew you loved her so much to kill your own son... Thank you Sumi for saving an already broken Arnav. " Nani said.

"I did the right thing Devi.... So don't thank me because Ratna was also my daughter even if she wasn't born from my womb" Dadi said still looking at Ratna's picture and Nani nodded.

All this while both were oblivious of the pair of eyes watching and listening to their conversation since the door was still opened.

Dadi then stood up making them run away to avoid detection. Both were angry but  smiled seeing their opportunity to make people pay for what they did to them.

Dadi then joined the others at the hall and were laughing and teasing each other. Half an hour later the door bell rang and Hariprakash opened it to find the police at the door.
He let them in and the entire family was surprised to see the police here.

"Aman.... Did you call the police here? " Meera asked Aman and everyone looked at him.

"No I didn't. " Aman replied.

Arnav moved closer to them and said.

"Good afternoon.... How can we help you. " Arnav asked.

"We are here to arrest Sudhadra Malik. " A head of the police replied shocking everyone but three who were smirking evilly.

"How dare you show up at my house to arrest my grandmother. " Arnav yelled at them.
The yelling drew the attention of Nani who came down.
Dadi moved closer to Arnav and placed her hand on her shoulder signalling him to calm down.

"Am Sudhadra Malik." Dadi introduced herself and the officer moved closer to her.

"Madam..... You are under arrest for the murder of Arvind Malik.... You have the right to remain silent as anything you say now can be used against you in the court of law." The officer said shocking everyone except those three.

"How dare you officer.... She didn't do anything like that.... She is innocent. " Arnav yelled.

"He is lying officer.... She killed my father. " Anjali said in fake tears.

"My sister is right officer... She killed our father because he was in love with our mother here and not his mother... So she killed him..... If you don't believe us ask Mrs Deviyani Singh Raizada...
She is a witness of her confession" Payal said in fake tears shocking everyone and they all looked at Nani who was so numb with shock that she couldn't say anything.

"You see officer... Her silence is the answer you need that Sudhadra Malik here murdered the man I loved and the father of my daughters. " Garima said in a convincing tone and the officer nodded.

"Cuff her up and let's go" The officer said to the others and they handcuffed Dadi.

"Stop it.... You will regret doing this officer... I will call the commissioner now and trust me you will lose your job. " Arnav threatened the officer.

"Mr Raizada you could be arrested for threatening me... And you can call the commissioner but until then the lady is coming with us. " The officer said.

"Chote stop it.... I don't want you going to go jail because of me. "

"But Dadi. "

Dadi then moved closer to her and cupped his cheeks in her hands.

"Please chote.... You are the foundation of this family.... And your presence is needed here.... Let me go with them.... But promise me something....you will never let evil win. " Dadi said while stroking Arnav's cheeks and he nodded with tears in his eyes.

Dadi then kissed his forehead and smiled at him. Dadi then left with the police and Arnav and everyone  had tears in their eyes with the exception of the three witches who were smiling. Arnav turned to them and said

"You will pay for this that I swear. "

"I'm so scared. " Anjali said in a mocking tone and Garima and Payal laughed.

"We have to call Mr Roy back here to handle this. " Meera said

"She is right Arnav.... Nk's trial can wait..... We need to get Dadi out now. " Khushi said to Arnav who was glaring at the three witches.

"I will call Mr Roy. " Aman said and took out his phone to call him.

Arnav then called the commissioner but he wasn't picking which irked him.
Anjali then moved closer and said.

"Arnav.... It looks like Dadi will have to send the night in jail which I know you don't want.... The two people who can help her out is neither here nor answering your call.... But we can make them release Dadi if you fulfill our demands..... If you don't then by tomorrow morning they entire nation will know of Dadi's deeds..... Your choice..... " Anjali said with a smirk on her face.

"What do you want? "
