Khushi, Meera and Rohan were sitting in the dinning room having their dinner. Meera and Rohan looked at each other confused seeing Khushi not touching a bite of her favorite food and lost in thoughts.

"Didi..... Didi" Meera called her breaking her trance " Didi are you alright? "

She was about to answer when the door bell rang. Hari Prakash rushed and opened it and smiled seeing Shashi. He invited him in and rushed back to the dinning room.

"Khushi bhabhi...... Your father is here. "

Khushi and her siblings rushed to the hall and so did the Gupta and Raizada women who were cleaning.
Immediately they saw their father, Meera and Rohan run and hugged him. Payal who saw this was shocked and fumed in anger that his father was still welcoming to Khushi after not being in touch with him all these years. And has accepted these strangers as his children when he had disowned her without any remorse.

"Babuji we missed. " Rohan said in excitement coming out of the group hug.

"And I miss your delicious hand made sweet but my hectic schedule at the hospital had made it difficult to come over to the sweet shop and have some..... But today is my day off and we were planning to visit you.... But here you are. " Meera said in excitement side hugging Shashi.

"Oooo my baby works so hard and therefore has to be rewarded..... I will have sweets delivered at your hospital everyday. " Shashi said and Meera tightly hugged him.

"Enough Meera..... Let babuji enter and sit first. " Khushi exclaimed.

Immediately Shashi sat down Khushi's phone rang and she excused herself to answer it since it was Dadi.
Hari Prakash served Shashi some drink and snacks. Shashi was chatting with Meera and Rohan when Payal stood in front of him with attitude and her arms crossed making the conversation come to a halt.

"Babuji....... I need to speak to you in private. "

"Am not interested in what you have to say.... " Shashi replied and ignored her which irked her and she stormed out of there.

Madhumati who saw this didn't like it and moved closer to reprimand her brother when a worried Khushi rushed down.

Everyone turned to her.

"Babuji...Meera.... Rohan please come with me now. " Khushi said.

"Didi..... What happened? " Meera asked and Khushi signalled her about the presence of the others and the trio knew it must be related to Arnav and her signal didn't go unnoticed.
Khushi called Hari Prakash asked him to be in charge of house until they come back and all moved out to Khushi's Escalade.
She sat behind the wheel with Shashi beside her and Meera and Rohan behind and drove out of RM.

When they were out of sight Shashi asked.

"Khushi..... What happened?.... Why are you like this. "

"Dadi called me to come to the penthouse and she asked me to come with you because she was about to disclose something to us which will affect Arnav and needs us to be there. " Khushi replied.

"It must be something serious I guess. " Shashi said.

And Khushi nodded and drove to the penthouse.

Penthouse.

Arnav who had just put Aarushi to sleep entered the hall only find Dadi sitting on the couch lost in deep thoughts.

"Dadi." Arnav called out breaking her trance. "What are you thinking about? ..... You haven't been yourself since you came.... I hope all is well."

Dadi was about to answer when the door bell rang. Arnav stood up and opened the door only to find Khushi, Shashi, Meera and Rohan at the door. Arnav was surprised to see her there but was also happy she was here.
He hugged her and they entered in to the hall and sat on the couch together.

"Khushi.... What are you doing here? " Arnav asked.

"I called her here...... Because I have a confession to make. " Dadi replied. "Please all of you come and sit down. " They all sat down confused.

"Dadi are you alright..... You have been behaving weirdly since you came.... " Arnav asked.

"I have to tell you about something..... It's about the past of Arvind and your mother. " Dadi exclaimed and Arnav immediately got angry.

"Dadi how many times have I told you I don't want to know.... You have been insisting for me to know about the past since I found you but I don't want to. " Arnav said in an angry tone.

"Enough chote..... I have had enough of you not wanting to listen..... But now you will listen whether you like it or not.... " Dadi said sternly to Arnav and Khushi begged him to listen and Arnav nodded and asked Dadi to go on.

"The woman who was responsible for your mother's death was the daughter of our gardener. She and Arvind were having a secret relationship behind our back until one day I overheard her talking about how she trapped Arvind and how very soon she will rule Sheesh Mahal. I was furious and called her parents and entire household and exposed her but your father didn't believe me and accused me of discriminating against her because she was poor. Arvind even went ahead and slapped me when I called her a slut and a gold digger. Your Dadu who believed me kicked Arvind and her family out and disinherited Arvind. For three months I tried to let him see the characterless nature of that woman but he refused to see it because he was trapped in her fake love. I went into depression which worried your Dadu. One day an old friend of your Dadu who happened to be Manesh Raizada your Nanu visited us with his wife, son and daughter and had ust moved next to us making us neighbours. I instantly feel in love with Ratna ( Everyone noticed how Dadi eyes shined and her lips curved in a smile when she mentioned Ratna) because of her kind, caring , loving and determined nature. She was everything I wanted for a bahu...... I told your Dadu and he also liked her. So we decided to ask for her hand in marriage for Anant but she refused stating she will only marry for love.......This made us even more happy than angry since we also had a love marriage....... Two weeks after that, Arvind came home crying about how I was right about that woman......Apparently he had over heard her talking about how her plan had failed because Arvind left us and she still has to leave the life of poverty....... I didn't believe him until a few days after that we heard people arguing outside......We went out to find her begging Arvind to forgive her and take her back but Arvind dragged her out of the house and threatened to kill her and her family if she ever returned....... We were all happy that finally his eyes were opened to the truth but I never spoke to him for a year after he kicked her out.......One day your Dadu and I were relaxing in the garden when Arvind showed up with Ratna saying they were in love and had been dating for ten months now and wished to be married as soon as possible......I was so happy and I forgave him instantly....... We met the Raizadas and the priest and within a month Ratna became my daughter in law. To me Ratna was more of a daughter than an in law......A year and half after the wedding Ratna got pregnant after a lot of pressure from you Dadu because four months before Ratna's pregnancy, he was diagnosed with cancer and he wanted to see at least one grandchild before he died. We were all happy but it was short lived because Arvind and Ratna had to move to Mumbai because there was a problem at one of our main branch there........
A couple of months later Anjali was born and your grandfather was on cloud nine but I had my doubt because she didn't look or have any feature of Arvind or Ratna but I shrugged it off......Most parent will be sad that their child is a born with a limp but not them or us..... But then something changed after that, I noticed Arvind was behaving coldly to Ratna after we moved in with them to take care of Anjali.....I suspected he was having an affair and hired a private investigator to follow him but it came out clean...... So I assumed it was work......Arvind loved Anjali to an extent that he didn't want another child......He even went ahead to ask Ratna to go in for a sterilization but we threatened to disown him in he forces Ratna....... So he dropped it but his relationship with Ratna became strained.....When Anjali was three years old you Dadu passed away and on that day we also found out Ratna was pregnant with you...... Arvind was furious and wanted Ratna to have an abortion but I again threatened him and only then were you born but he never loved you...... But being a mama's boy you never bothered but I saw the hurt when he punished you for no mistake of yours.
On Anjali's wedding day I discovered that Arvind was still having an affair with that woman and that everything was planned because Arvind wanted the property and he knew if he married Ratna than we will gladly give it to him which we did. That night I also discovered Anjali wasn't Ratna's child but that woman and Arvind's child who was born a day before Ratna went into labour ( everyone gasped in shock with tears I  their eyes and by now Dadi was crying) My Ratna's child was stillborn and was switched with Anjali. She fell unconscious that's why she didn't know. They were planning on eloping after your Dadu died but never considered the fact that Arvind and Ratna's getting drunk during our last holi with your grandfather will result in your birth. She came there to confront your father about how Ratna was stealing away her rights and how their second child who happens to be a girl was living as a pauper. When I caught and confronted them, they didn't show any remorse for cheating on their respective partners. Unknown to us Ratna who had followed me because I was keeping too long heard everything and I felt so used and confronted the before leaving to console my daughter but then on my way..... I heard a gunshot and the scream of Arnav......I rushed only to find out my daughter had killed herself with Arvind's gun.
That day I lost not only my daughter but my chote was lost forever until you came into his life Khushi.... Anant who had always hated his brother exposed him in front of society but didn't mention the products of that affair.... Everyone stated badmouthing him.... I like a fool thought Arvind will come to his senses but he didn't.... He never even showed up at her last rite and I had no choice since the Raizadas weren't around than to force chote to lit her pyre..... After the funeral I somehow managed to put a broken chote to sleep and decided to confront him..... I found him in his office pacing back and forth..... Immediately he saw me he kept on ranting about how Anant disgraced him and how that wan was broken and was sleeping in our house..... I immediately knew he won't going to change and will definitely marry that woman and live with her and their two daughters..... That will be a big injustice to my Ratna and chote so I pulled out his gun tucked in my saree and shot him in the head ."Dadi revealed without any remorse,  Arnav was shocked because all these years he thought his father committed suicide but in reality his Dadi killed him to save his already broken self. And so was the other. "Yes I killed him.... And I don't regret or care if you all think I am a monster...... I made everyone believe it was a suicide and forced that woman to watch as the police took away his body because I didn't want perform his last right...... I asked her to take Anjali with her and leave.... I was on my way to your room when I felt a sharp and painful pain at the back of my head..... When I woke up.... I realized I was in solitary confinement in an asylum and that Anant had put me there...... For years I tried to escape but failed several times until you found me..... Now you know why I didn't like you pampering Anjali. "

"Because she didn't deserve it and I was so obsessed with protecting her....You thought that if you told me the truth.... I may follow maa's footsteps. " Arnav concluded sadly and Dadi nodded

"I will understand if you hate me for making you an orphan.... But I prefer that than having Arvind and that whore rub it in your face. " Dadi said in tears.

Arnav stood up from where he was sitting and moved closer to his grandmother and sat by her and hugged her. Dadi cried for about three minutes until she stopped. Arnav then broke the hug and clean her face and kissed her forehead.

"I will never hate you Dadi..... In fact I love you more now than ever for what you did..... The past is in the past now..... Now we have to focus on the future..... We all here including Aman are the only family we need..... Thank you Dadi.... Thank you for loving I and my mother soo much that your killed for us..... " Arnav said in a genuinely gentle and thankful voice.

"Dadi..... Arnav is right.... We love you more.... Your are not a monster but a real mother..... Who saw beyond her blood and gave justice to Arnav and Sasuma. " Khushi said and moved closer to her and sat opposite to her and kissed her cheeks.

"I thought you will be mad at me..... But now I  see you have grown indeed" Dadi said

"Dadi..... I see things and the world differently now.... Once my anger towards the wrong people made me lose a lot.... But no more..... Now my anger will be directly to the right people.... Look around..... No one hates or is angry at you. " Arnav said with all honesty.

She looked at the others and saw admiration instead of disgust. She felt like a fool thinking she will lose them but now she realized she did the right thing by telling the truth.
Arnav and Khushi placed their heads on her shoulders. For a moment no one spoke but after a few minutes Roshan broke the silence.

"Dadi...... Who is that woman who was responsible for all of this. " Rohan gritted the words through his teeth in anger breaking everyone's reverie in the process.

Everyone was alert and eager to know the identity of that woman especially Arnav who has been trying for years to find out who she is.

"We all know her."Dadi said looking at Shashi and all eyes widened in shock." It none other than Garima Gupta. "All were in shock at the revelation. " Am sorry Shashiji for finding out about your wife like this and the truth that Payal is not your daughter but Arvind and Garima's daughter. "

"Don't be..... I have known for the past eighteen years that she wasn't my daughter but never knew she was your son's daughter. (Double shock to all) " I found out when she come home drunk one day and revealed how Payal wasn't my daughter and how she hated me.... I thought it was a lie until I saved money and had a DNA test done and that's when I found out the truth..... I never told anyone because I thought that man had left her..... So I raised Payal as mine since I have been doing it for years now. " Shashi explained leaving everyone in shock.

"You are a good man Shashiji..... And you deserve a better woman than her..... It's not too late to start over again.... Divorce her and be free. "
Dadi exclaimed.

"We have been divorced for the past one and half years now but people still think we are still married. " Shashi said again shocking everyone.

"You did good Babuji..... She doesn't deserve you. " Khushi said in pride.

"Chiii..... I can't believe a woman like her exists... She looks so innocent...... Like mother like daughters.... They are all a bunch of murderers, gold diggers and home wreckers..... They have to pay dearly for this." Meera voiced out in disgust. Arnav then stood up and said.

"Don't worry baby sis..... They will pay for everything they did to us..... And that is my promise. "

Everyone smiled at him and Aman barged in in anger. He was happy to find them all here.

"Good I found you all..... You won't believe what I just found out at the police station today. " Aman said breathing heavily.

"What happened Aman? " A curious Arnav asked.

"The man who planted the bomb in your car was arrested and guess who is behind the blast..... It none other than Payal..... She paid him to kill you. " Aman exclaimed shocking everyone.

"Is there an end to those wicked women deeds.... She tried to bhai forgetting what he did for her husband. " Rohan said in disbelief.

"Relax Rohan..... They just sealed their fate..... Aman make preparations.... We are all moving back to Shantivan. " Arnav said and all agreed with him.

If the Guptas and Raizadas thought Khushi's punishments were harsh then they are all in for hell.

A vengeful ASR has been awoken and an equally vengeful family is behind him now.
