The bright sun woke me up. The dream I had last night was still filling my head. Questions were haunting me. I got out from the tent, then the girl greeted me, "Good morning."

I greeted her back, "Good morning too, you're up early."

She walks toward the tent and replied to me, "In this world, you have to wake up early to survive. Come on, help me put down the tent." And we did that.

Later on, after we put down the tent, the girl told me that we should get moving. Staying in one place is dangerous. But I still couldn't comprehend what's going on.

Then I spoke, "Before we go, I need to ask you something. First of all, I understand what has happened to our earth. But what I don't understand is why I am here?"

The girl answered me, "I don't know."

Then I continued asking her, "Is time traveling possible in this era?"

The girl sat down on a rock, she paused for a while, and then she answered me, "When the war ended, society was collapsing. We passed the line where there is no return. We couldn't fix the present and so, we had to fix the past."

I interrupted her, "But how were you going to fix the past?"

She exhaled and continued speaking, "A group of researcher planned a project called operation 'UNDO'. It is a project to bring someone from the past to the future for a period of time."

I was confused, if time traveling possible? Why didn't the researcher just made it so that the person will be sent back to the past? I asked her that and she replied, "Sending people to the past could affect the timeline too much and besides, if we send people back to the past, we wouldn't have a way to send that person back to the future."

I understood so far about the time travel stuff. But to be sure I asked her, "Did the group of researcher succeed with the project?"

She paused again for a while, then she answered me, "Yes they did. But in order to send the person to the future, the future self of that person must not exist."

I was curious, and so I asked her, "What does that mean?"

She told me to sit down, and then she started explaining, "For example, if we want to send person A to the future, the person A that exist in that future must not exist anymore. In other word, the future person A must die. If not the procedure won't work, and both person from the past and future will die."

That fact startled me, in my curiosity, I asked her, "Does that means, my future self is dead?" Then she answered yes.

I asked her again, "But why me? And did you know my future self? When will I return to my time? And one last thing, why do you know all this thing?"

The girl answered me, "I know all of this thing because one of my friend was part of the research group. But he died right after the project was finish. I wasn't there when they activated the machine, so I don't know the details. But I do know that you will be send back to your own time after 5 days."

And so, I'm stuck with her in the future for 5 days. The girl told me that we had to start moving.

Hours passed by as we kept on walking. The day was hot. Once in while we would stop to rest. But after that, we kept moving. I asked her where were we going, but she answered me that we were only wandering off, looking for shelters, foods, and water. The sun was above our head, it was the middle of the day and I thought we were going to wander off all day long,until we stumbled upon a small city.

The girl told me we were going inside that city to find more supplies. We entered the city. It was deserted, the buildings are destroyed, and the ground is covered in sand. We walked around it for awhile and we couldn't find any people or supplies. I thought we should just give up, but then, when we entered one of the building, a group of people ambushed us. There were 6 guys and 2 of them were armed with guns. They surrounded us,then one of the armed men, came closer to the girl and pointed his gun at her head. The girl who stood in front of me asked him what did he wanted. The man answered, "Supplies!"

The girl said that she had none left and asked if there's something else the man wanted. He answered, "Then serve us as our slave, but first, give me your clothes." The girl kept silence, then one of the unarmed men came to me, he grabbed my head and said, "Don't you care what happened with your friend here?" I didn't know what to do, I could fight back, but with guns involving here, I couldn't do anything.

Then suddenly, the girl grabbed the gun, then she kicked the man down to his knee, pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger. And I didn't just stand there doing nothing, using the back of my right hand, I punched the man's face, then I turned around facing the man, using my right hand, I grabbed his neck and using my left hand, I delivered a punch to his chin, leaving him disoriented, then I let go of my right hand grab, and using that hand, I delivered the final blow right to his face, making him fainted.

The other armed man who stood and watched, quickly pulled out his gun and aimed it to my head. I was paralyzed, but then the girl quickly aimed the gun she got from the other man, and aimed it at the armed man, he was startled and then he paused for a second, and so, quickly without any hesitation, the girl pulled the trigger. 3 men were left standing, but the gun was emptied, no bullets were left inside it. We were force to fight bare hand.

The three men each pulled out a knife. The girl told me to handle two men,and so the fight began. One of the men came to me and tried to stab me from the front, I dodged it and grabbed his hand using my left hand, then I hit him with my right hand in his neck, then the other man came at me. He swing his knife at me. I guarded it with my right hand, then with my left hand, I hit him in the head. Then the man fell down. The girl was finish with her foe too. Afterwards, we looked around and found the supplies we needed. There were some synthesized food, water, clothes, and injections.
