L' E S T R A T T O
dal primo capitolo

After having opened my house door, I decide to take a refreshing shower while Federico turns on the tv, swearing he'd wait for his turn. Of course, his promise was destined to be very short-lived since the beginning. The door is opened quite soon, indeed, and an excitement flash stings on my naked skin. His smiling and mischievous face peeps through the shower curtain.

«In fifteen minutes it starts The Lucky One.» he says, mentioning one of my favourite movies, based on Nicholas Sparks' novel.

«But, hey, I think I'm going to take a shower right now. So that we are in time for the movie.»

«Be my guest...»

«...oh, well, if you put it that way...» he laughs maliciously, slowly entering inside the shower.

«I think you're reading my words in the wrong way, bro. The shower is all yours!» I say, parading in front of him.

«We will see!» he replies, emulating my voice tone.

I wrap myself up in a towel, but two hands encircle my waist and make it slide down. My surprised chucking bursts on my boyfriend's lips, who starts kissing me, all over my mouth, neck...

«Oh, come on! Logan and Beth are waiting for us.» I refresh his memory, by calling the main characters' name of The Lucky One.

I wear up my favourite pajamas and wait for my boyfriend to reach me into the bed.

«Am i late?» he asks, lifting up his blanket corner.

«No, you're just in time.» I answer, shaking my head and making him a sign to sit.

He gets closer and closer, finding my hands stretched over my thighs, going on, touching my body... but I grab him with a sudden movement.

«This movie makes my body temporarily inaccessible. Call it magic, if you want. In the meanwhile, get out of my living space!»

Federico ends up in a surprised and amused laugh, surrounding my shoulders with his arm.
