Three days after Moonracer became Knockout's sparkmate Optimus asked her to go out on a mission with him. Naturally, she said yes. 

"So, what are we doing?" Moonracer asked Optimus as they drove down the highway.

"We are checking out a potential energon mine. With the Decepticons being more active we need as much energon as we can get." Optimus replied. 

Moonracer silently agreed with her leader. When she and Optimus arrived at the location they transformed. Moonracer stretched a little, stiff from driving for so long. As they walked into the cave they saw a fork in the road.

"Moonracer, we will need to split up." Optimus stated. 

"Alright. I'll call you if something happens." Moonracer said before she and Optimus split up.

"So, what are we doing here?" Knockout asked Megatron.

"We are here to find energon. Since Starscream is busy complaining to Soundwave about his problems I brought you." Megatron said as he and Megatron walked into the cave.

Knockout silently complained about all the dust. Since he now shared a bond with Moonracer she could feel his disgust. After a while of walking Megatron and Knockout split up. Knockout shuddered at the dust as he walked down the path.

":Hey Doll, you'll never guess where I am.:" Knockout said over the bond.

":In an energon potential mine?:" Moonracer asked over the bond.

":I- How did you know?!:" Knockout asked Moonracer.

"Hey KO, miss me?" Moonracer asked.

"Moonracer! I can't believe that we're here. I missed you." Knockout said, walking over to his beautiful sparkmate.

"I missed you too." Moonracer said, pulling him in for a kiss.

Knockout smirked as he gripped Moonracer's aft. Moonracer moaned into the kiss, rubbing Knockout's codpiece with one of her servos. They kissed each other passionately for a while. Neither of them noticed Optimus and Megatron staring at them in shock. 

"Knockout! What the frag are you doing?!" 

Both Knockout and Moonracer pulled away from the kiss, too shocked to do anything. Before Optimus could say anything Megatron used his sword to stab him.

"Optimus!" Moonracer yelled as she tried to run to her leader. 

"Moonracer, look out!" Knockout yelled, trying to warn his sparkmate.
