"Thanks for everything Nurse Joy!" A joyful coordinator and her Piplup exclaimed as they left the Santalune City pokemon center.

It was evening time, the sun sky was mixing it's colors of red, orange, and yellow

The gentle evening breeze blew the coordinators hair and scarf slightly.

"Hey Piplup. Want to go eat at one of the cafe's here?"

"Lup!" Piplup replied happily.

"Alright then. Let's go."

Picking up her Piplup the two walked to a cafe called Fairy Dust.

"What a odd name for a cafe?" Dawn said cocking her head to the side.

"No matter, let's just go and eat."

The two sat at a table on the terrace and placed their order.

Looking around, the coordinator sighed. She doubted anyone there would know about Ash, but she decided to ask anyway.

The closest person around was a tall lady with a lizard-like looking pokemon.

Dawn waved towards the lady. "Excuse me, can I ask you a question?"

The lady smiled and came to where Dawn was sitting.

"Of course you can."

Dawn smiled. "Thanks! Might you know a trainer by the name of Ash Ketchum? His partner is a Pikachu."

The lady grinned at the mention of Ash's name.

"I most certainly do know Ash. He is something else don't you think?"

"Yes he is." Dawn said trying to hide her blush.

"By the way, my names Alexa." Alexa said, extending her arm out.

"I'm Dawn, and this is Piplup." She said shaking Alexa's hand and motioning to Piplup, who was drinking his lemonade.

Alexa smiled. "It's nice to meet you Dawn and Piplup. I'm going to guess you two are from the Sinnoh Region. Am I right?"

"You most certainly are. We're from Twinleaf Town."

"That's a nice town. Now back to Ash, do you need to find him?"

Dawn nodded as she looked to Piplup. "How did you know?"

Giggling Alexa scratched the back of her head. "You wouldn't be the first to be looking for him."

"W-what do you mean?" Dawn asked slightly flustered.

"I mean another girl I know once asked me that same question." Alexa said as she dug throw her bag Gogoat's.

Grabbing a magazine, Alexa flipped to a page with a showcase dance party on it then showed it to Dawn.

"This is her. She's Serena from Vanivile Town not to far from here."

Just by examining Serena in the photo, Dawn could tell she liked Ash. The photo showed her battling with Ash. Serena wore a red ballade dress while Ash wore a blue ballade suit. The pose showed the two had won the battle and standing next to a chocolate fountain. Serena had obviously scooted closer to Ash when the picture was taken.

Looking back to Alexa, Dawn gave an awkward smile.

"So Alexa? When was this picture taken?"

Putting back the magazine in her Gogoat's bag, Alexa smiled.

"Not to long ago. You see I'm a journalist, so I documented this scoop and took that photo about a month or two ago."

"I see. So does that mean you know where Ash could be at the point in time?"

Nodding Alexa jumped onto her Gogoat's back. "I most certainly do. Would you like me to take you there?"

A sudden rush of adrenaline course through Dawn's veins. She couldn't believe how lucky she was right now to find someone who knew her old friends.

"Yes please! Come on Piplup let's go find Ash and Pikachu!"

With that being said Piplup gave a cheer. The duo climbed onto Gogoat and sat infront of Alexa.

Sitting on a Gogoat felt much different then sitting on a Mamoswine to Dawn. It was nice to have a change of perspective.

Looking over her shoulder to Alexa, Dawn smiled.

"So, what should I tell-"

"Gogoat."

"Right! What do I tell Gogoat to do?"

Pointing to Gogoat's horns, Alexa directed Dawn what to do.

"Put your hands on Gogoats horns. Then let Gogoat do the rest."

Unsuringly, Dawn did as she was told. She could feel as if some energy where pulsing through the horns. The energy felt warm and trusting.

"Why does Gogoat's horn's feel as if there's a trapped energy inside it?" Dawn asked as the Gogoat began to walk.

"That's because Gogoat's have an ability to sense the feelings of whoever grips its horns; this ability is so acute that it can move as if it and its rider were one being."

Nodding, Dawn stared off into the wide road ahead. They were still in the town, but it seemed as if everything was calmed to a forest feeling.

Slowly drifting off to sleep, Dawn could hear Alexa commending Gogoat to go to different directions.

'I'll see you again soon Ash... Please don't give up on me just yet.....'
