Chapter 2
Bellona was relieved to be in Narnian attire. A trunk for her held dresses and riding attire. She was more than happy to change from her damp school clothes to the leather-hide attire.
"You look comfortable," Lucy commented upon noticing how at ease Bellona was. "Happy to be home?"
"Happy would be an understatement," Bellona told her, the smile falling when she felt an arm wrapped around her shoulders. She made her way out of the lower building, bringing Lucy with her.
Back in England, the place Bellona learned to despise, Lucy was the only one who seemed to understand the longing to go back to Narnia. There were some nights when the pair would stay up talking about what they missed the most.
Other nights, Bellona would lie awake staring out the window. Nights in England weren't the same as nights in Narnia. Not even remotely close.
The pair waited for the others to join them outside. Bellona leaned against what was left of Cair Paravel, eyes closed while she soaked up the Narnian sun. Even the sun felt different back in England. Once the last Pevensie was out, they started their trek to find more Narnians.

"He's Narnian!" Bellona called out as Susan fired an arrow at the small boat. A dwarf specifically, but she remembered dwarves being part of Narnian.
"Drop him!" Susan commanded the two armored men. They toss the body into the water. Edmund and Peter take off running to rescue the Narnian while Susan fires another arrow, this one hitting one of the males. The other jumps into the water.
The three females join the other two males, Edmund pulling the boat out of the water while Peter carries the Narnian to shore. Lucy, with her dagger, cuts the rope that was tied around his wrists.
He immediately rolled to the side while pulling the gag off, coughing water up. "DROP HIM!?" He glared at Susan while repeating her words. Bellona immediately pulled a sword out and pointed it at the male. Despite how much Bellona didn't like Susan, this man was still addressing a Queen of Narnia and Bellona would not take that foul tone.
"That's the best you can come up with?" He asked.
"Probably should have let him drown," Bellona sighed while sheathing her sword.
"A simple thank you would suffice," Susan argued against the man.
"They were doing fine drowning me without your help!" The dwarf snapped at her. Bellona raised an eyebrow at the male. Quite bold of him to be yelling at a Queen of Narnia.
"Maybe we should've let them," Peter interjected, getting a dirty look from the man they just rescued.
"Why were they trying to kill you anyway?" Lucy asked. Ah, let Lucy be the one to get straight to the point. They probably would've gotten there, eventually, without Lucy.
"They're Telmarines," the man said as if that was the only answer they needed. "That's what they do."
"Telmarines? In Narnia?" Edmund took the question out of Bellona's mouth.
"Where have you been for the last few hundred years?"
"With the Witch Witch apparently," Bellona muttered while digging her foot into the sand. Her time away felt like she was wherever the Witch Witch was.
What he said took a moment for Bellona to take notice of. A few hundred years!? Has it been that long since they left Narnia? Bellona would've sworn that it was only a year. She feared what had happened to Kirke during her time away.
The dwarf took notice of a sword that was handed off to Peter. A sword with a lion's head on the handle. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me." The man groaned. "You're it? You're the kings and queens of Old?"
"High King Peter, the Magnificent." Bellona rolled her eyes when Peter introduced himself. Just had to add the Magnificent part.
"Probably could've left off the last bit," Susan commented. Bellona agreed with that. Laughing from the dwarf grabbed her attention. He seemed to agree with that as well.
"So," Bellona spoke up finally. "What may we call you?" She didn't want to keep referring to him as Narnian or dwarf to herself.
The dwarf looked at her. "Trumpkin, your majesty."
"No, I'm not-"
"You don't want to do that, boy." Bellona wasn't able to finish her statement. The dwarf was now focused on Peter, as he pulled his sword out. This would intrigue Bellona. She wanted to see how rusty he was.
"Not me, him," Peter spoke before looking to Edmund. Edmund pulled his sword out while Peter handed his own to Trumpkin.
Bellona rolled her eyes, not looking as a fight between Edmund and Trumpkin began. They didn't have time for this. Telmarines, Aslan knows what they've been doing to Narnians. Then there's Kirke and Bellona could only hope that he was still around. It would be wishful thinking, but it would break Bellona if she never got the chance to say goodbye to the dragon.
"Perhaps that horn worked after all," Trumpkin spoke, having dropped to his knees before Edmund.
Bellona raised an eyebrow as Susan asked, "What horn?"
