The Isle
"Welcome home, Harry."
Uma and Gil led Harry back onto the ship he hadn't been on in months. He felt his lips stretch into a wide smirk as he looked around at the ship he practically grew up on. It'd been too long and he didn't know how much he missed the Isle and his crew until he was looking at it.
He let out a loud laugh, spinning once in his spot to take it all in and Uma smirked, watching him. She'd admit she missed having him here, and that Wonderland hadn't done him any favors. This was a much better look on him.
He took in a deep breath, "oh, I've missed this."
"Well, well, well, look who came crawling back," a familiar voice called out and Harry turned to watch her come down the few steps to the deck and towards him. Her lips were tilted up into a wide smirk as her tight, dark curls bounced around her olive skin. "Harry Hook."
His own lips turned up into a slight smirk, "Georgina Gothel."
She shoved Gil out of the way to stand in front of the son of Captain Hook, cocking her head to the side and letting her curls bounce with the action. "I thought you were holed up in Wonderland, getting your happily ever after with bloody big head?" Her eyebrows shot up as a few members of the crew laughed at that.
"Hey!" Uma shouted and everyone immediately shut up.
Harry took a slight step forward, his smirk faltering as he leaned towards her ear, "Call her that again... and I'll personally reintroduce ya to my hook, got it?"
Georgina rolled her eyes, purposely taking a step back, "fine, I'm not the Captain, it's none of my business." She crossed her arms and Harry smirked at the affect he still had on people. "Welcome back, Harry," she turned sharply on her toes, her curls whipping at the action, and she walked off.
Uma and Gil came up on either side of Harry, "come on," Uma nudged her arms into his. "Lets wash the Wonderland off of you."
They took him back to his old cabin and Gil grabbed some of the clothes that they left there for the day he came back - Uma always suspected he'd come back eventually. He wasn't cut out for royalty life, he was a pirate in his bones. Uma let him get changed first before applying the usual eyeliner he had smudged around his face and fixed his hat over his head.
She nodded for him to check himself out in the mirror and he did so. A wide smirk took over his plump lips as he held his hook in one hand and ran the other down the black coat he was wearing. "There ya are, mate. Where've you been hiding?" He mumbled to himself and Uma rolled her eyes at him.
Harry, Uma, and Gil headed back up top to the main deck, the rest of the crew miling about the ship humming a 'na na na' together and Harry smirked as he spun in a slight circle to take in the full ship.
He slammed his hands against the railing, looking out at the Isle. "This is a black, black ski mask song. So, put all of your anger on. In the truly gruesome do we trust. I will always land on you like a sucker punch," he pushed away from the edge to head to the center with Uma while the rest of the crew circled around them. "Singing I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare."
"Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na."
"I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare."
"Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na."
Harry broke through the circle to the front, turning to Uma with a smirk, "if you knew, knew what the bluebirds sing at you. You would never sing along. Cast them out cause this our culture, these new flocks are nothing but vultures."
The rest of the crew danced together behind him as he ran over to the mast and hoisted himself up above them, his arm hooked around the pole. "Because they took our love and they filled it up, filled it up with Novocaine and now I'm just numb."
"No-no-no-novocaine!"
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine.
He jumped off the mast, dancing down the line of pirates, "and don't mind me I'm just a son of a gun. So, don't stop, don't stop, til your heart goes numb!
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"I don't feel a thing for you," he shoved the two closest to him, to the sides and everyone broke away.
He held his hand and hook out comfortably on either side of him, smirking wickedly, "I'm just a problem that doesn't wanna be solved. So, could you please hold your applause." He held out his free hand to Uma and she took it to let him help her walk across the railing and then jump down beside him. "Take this sideshow and all its freak, and turn it into the silver screen dream."
"Singing, I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare," Uma and Harry sang together.
"Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na."
"I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare."
"Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na."
Harry's smirk fell as he found his eyes wandering over to the tall tower in the distance that held the looking glass. His only way to Wonderland and Artemis... Artemis.
Uma grabbed his chin, forcing him to look down at her and giving him a pointed look. He needed to put all that behind him, he didn't belong there.
"If you knew, knew what the bluebirds sing at you. You would never sing along. Cast them out cause this is our culture, these new flocks are nothing but vultures." He followed Uma back through the crew as they parted for them - stopping at the end to look around at everyone and the smirk twisted back up on Harry's lips. "Cause they took our love and they filled it up, filled it up with Novocaine and now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no- novocaine."
"And don't mind me, I'm just a son of a gun," he swung himself up onto the railing by the rope hanging from mast and dropped the sails as he did so. "So, don't stop, don't stop 'til your heart goes numb! I don't feel a thing for you."
The rest of the crew turned to where Harry Hook was holding himself above all of them. "No-no-no-novocaine."
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"I don't feel a thing for you."
The rest of the crew danced together to the beat and Harry laughed loudly, throwing his head back dramatically. In that moment, he could feel it. This is where he belonged, and he couldn't ever imagine why he wanted to leave in the first place.
"I said, one day the valley's gonna swallow me whole!"
"Hijack the heart, Hijack the heart!" They chimed back.
"And I feel like a photo that's been overexposed."
"Hijack the heart, Hijack the heart!"
The rest of the crew stomped their feet to the beat, practically marching across the deck in front of the son of Captain Hook.
"Because they took out love and they filled it up, filled it up with Novocaine and now I'm just numb!" He hopped off the railing, staying in a crouched position as he stalked forward.
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"And don't mind me I'm just a son of a gun. So, don't stop, don't stop til your heart goes numb," He spun, dropping to one knee and grabbing at his chest as he leaned back.
"No-no-no-novocaine."
"And now I'm just numb!"
"No-no-no-novocaine."
He jumped up to his feet, looking down at Uma as she grabbed his hook and leaned into his arm with a wicked smirk. "I don't feel a thing for you!"
The crew laughed joyously at the return of Harry Hook and Harry felt his own lips twist into a wide grin as Gil handed him his hat and he fixed it over his dark locks. It was good to be back.
What he didn't see were the two boys lurking in the shadows on the dock their ship was parked at. One had dark skin and short brown hair a few years younger than the rest of them. And the other had long brown hair like a mane and sharp features, smirking at the return of Harry Hook.
"Silas! Is that Harry Hook?" The younger one asked, tugging on the boys sleeve.
Silas smirked, "yes, it is. Just wait until Sherri hears he's back." He had no idea what was coming to him. The two boys shared a wide grin before racing off through the streets.
They made their way to the magnificent tree house that their leader resided in and they quickly climbed the rope ladder to the right floor. The man siting outside the door nodded in recognition at Sherri Khans two right hand men, letting them pass into her room.
She was sitting at her window seat with her snake sitting delicately around her shoulders, and curling down around her arms for it's head to sit on her one hand as she dragged her fingers along it's scales with her free hand.
"Sherri," Silas called out and the red headed girl looked up curiously, her lips turning into a smile as she saw the son of Scar and the younger son of Jafar standing before her.
She rose to her feet to address them, the skirt of her dress dancing around her long legs. "Silas. Jaamil. Where have you been?"
The two boys shared an excited look, "you'll never guess who is here on the Isle," Silas began, his eyebrows bouncing and Sherri looked intrigued.
"It's Harry Hook!" Jaamil shouted excitedly. Silas hit his arm, glaring at him for stealing his moment and Jaamil stepped down, dropping his gaze to the ground sheepishly for talking out of turn.
Sherri paid them no mind, her mouth dropping open slightly as she turned to look back out her window at the jungle around her. "Harry Hook has come out of hiding, has he?" She mumbled, her lips twisting up into a secret smirk. Good, she thought, things were starting to get boring around here. "Well, we better give him a proper welcome home. Silas, prepare for our journey into town. Jaamil," she turned and the young boy looked up at her with bright eyes. "Take Kai back to his chamber," she took the snake off her shoulders and handed him off.
Jaamils eyes widened in fear as the snake hissed at him, but he didn't dare tell the daughter of Sher Khan 'no'. "Yes, ma'am." He struggled to carry him off and Silas watched him go before stepping up beside the red head to stare out the window.
"What're you going to do, Sherri?" He asked, his hands clasped behind his back as he cocked his head to the side to look at her.
She shrugged, biting her bottom lip to hold back her excitement. "I'm not sure yet. But, I'll tell you this... when I get done with him, he'll never want to return to Wonderland or the wretched Queen Heart, ever again."
