Wyatt's Pov

I smiled at myself as I looked at the mirror that was in mine and Malia's bedroom.

The guys and I were back at our house after I finally managed to find the perfect ring for Malia.

When we arrived Emily had fallen asleep and I put her in her room so she could rest while the guys and I were getting everything.

Zed had told me that he and the others would get everything ready and that I had to get in the shower and get myself ready.

I was hesitant, mainly because I wanted to make sure that everything in the backyard was set up nicely, but in the end gave in and left to do as told.

Now, here I am, all dressed and ready.

But at the same time I am nervous.

My palms are sweating like hell and I can't help but worry that maybe today won't go as planned.

What if Malia says no?

What if she's not ready to get married?

What if she wants to wait until much later because we're still young?

What if...

"If you don't doubting yourself right now I will smack you upside the head".

Startled, I turned around and saw Zed standing at the door with an exasperated look on his face.

"Is everything ready? Please tell me it's all ready and perfect" I asked.

Zed sighed and shook his head before walking towards me.

"Wyatt, bud, relax. Everything is set up and I can assure you that it's perfect. Just the way you want it to be" Zed told me.

I breathed out a sigh of relief at that and felt myself relaxing slightly.

"Thank god. Nothing can go wrong today. It needs to be..." I trailed off.

"Perfect. Yes, I know. You've only said that a million times" Zed sarcastically smiled.

I scoffed, "don't act like you weren't the same when you proposed to Addison".

If anything he was just like me so he really has no right to be annoyed at me.

Especially when I want everything to be ready for my queen when she arrives.

It has to be perfect. 100%.

Zed huffed but said nothing since he knew I was right. Which I normally always was.

"Did the girls say when they were coming back?" I asked.

"Addison texted me a few minutes ago and she said they will be here in 20 minutes" Zed told me.

I nodded and looked back at myself in the mirror.

"Good. That gives me enough time to look at everything in the backyard and make sure it's all perfect. And go over what I'm going to tell her when I pop the question" I grinned.

If I mess up what I say I am going to sound, and look, like an idiot.

Zed just nodded before moving aside so I could leave the room and I did.

I have to check everything over before going over what I'm going to say to Malia.

Perfect. 

That's what this proposal has to be.

Malia's Pov

Something was up. I just know it.

My friends have been acting weird ever since we left the house and Willa decided that we needed to get out more and hang out and everyone was quick to agree.

I wasn't surprised when A-spen immediately agreed since, well, they are dating Willa.

But I did get suspicious when the others agreed.

More so, Elena.

Considering her and Willa do not like each other.

It's basically how Elena and Wyatt didn't like each other in the past but they got over their differences and became friends.

Well, frenemies. If I have to be honest.

But I doubt Elena and Willa will ever become friends.

Anyways...

We didn't really go to such big places.

We just went to the park and then we went to get some food before deciding to go shopping.

But it wasn't really shopping considering my friends were trying to find a dress for me. Literally just me.

They weren't looking for something to buy for themselves. They were literally just searching for something for me to wear.

I told them that they are allowed to get something for themselves since we were all at the mall for a reason, but they insisted that I was more important and that it was important that I get a nice dress.

Addison and A-li were the ones to find the dress for me and made me put it on after shoving me into the fitting rooms.

After trying it on and showing it to the others Wynter and Elena brought over some white heels for me to wear with it.

After putting the shoes on they didn't let me change back into my clothes and said that they were going to pay for it, splitting the amount of the shoes and the dress, and I ended up leaving the mall wearing my new outfit.

I really tried my best to ask them what was going on but they refused to tell me anything.

Even Wynter and that girl isn't the best at keeping secrets.

Willa or Elena must've bribed her with something in order to have her keep her mouth shut.

Right now we were on our way back to my house.

"I still don't understand why I had to wear this when leaving the mall. I could've worn them at home" I sighed.

"We told you, it was better for you to wear it when leaving the mall" Wynter said.

"But couldn't I have at least worn my boots before we left? My feet are killing me" I groaned.

"No" everyone replied causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance.

Finally we made it to my house and we all walked inside after I opened the door.

Just as I was about to turn the lights on I realized that the lights to the backyard were on for whatever reason.

Which is weird because they should be off.

"Why are the lights outside on?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

I missed the grins the girls were giving each other as I walked closer to the door that lead outside.

None of them said anything nor did they stop me from going outside, they just let me go.

I opened the door and just as I walked outside the lights suddenly turned on.

I yelped in surprise and quickly covered my eyes because of that. When it felt safe I uncovered my eyes and turned around to see who had been the one to turn the lights on.

I furrowed my eyebrows at the person I was looking at, "Zed?"

Zed said nothing and just grinned at me before gesturing for me to turn around to which I did.

And as soon as I looked at what was in front of me a gasp escaped my lips.

Oh my god...

This is beautiful, really beautiful.

But, wait, who did this?

Just before I could ask just that the other boys walked out from wherever they are and made their way over to the side.

The girls stood with Zed with Addison wrapping her arm around his waist.

"Guys, what's going on?" I asked in confusion and curiosity.

None of them said anything and simply gestured for me to walk forward and I did, a bit reluctantly.

When I was close to the place I turned to the others, ready to ask them again what this was.

When I heard footsteps from nearby and I turned around and saw my lovely boyfriend walking towards me.

And can I just say he looked really handsome in that suit of his.

When he was close he clasped his hands together and placed them in front of him.

"Hello, baby. You look beautiful" Wyatt smiled.

I smiled back at him, "thank you. You look handsome".

"I do try" Wyatt cheekily grinned to which I rolled my eyes in amusement.

"Where's Emily?" I asked looking around for my daughter.

"She's in her room sleeping, she did stay up really late last night" Wyatt told me.

I nodded at that know that it was true.

"So, do you mind explaining what all of this is?" I asked.

"Don't you know that this is all for you. I did all of this for you. But, I can't take all the credit. The others helped me" Wyatt said.

I turned towards the others and saw them smiling at me while nodding their heads.

Well that explains why the girls were acting weird and why they made me wear this dress when leaving the mall.

"What's the occasion?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

Wyatt stepped closer to me and placed his hands on my shoulders, a smile appearing on his face.

"A very special one for that matter. Trust me" he told me.

I didn't know what to say at that so I just settled with a small smile.

Wyatt returned the gesture before looking towards the boys and nodded his head to which they nodded back.

I watched as Bucky pressed something on his phone and before I knew it music was being played.

I turned back to Wyatt and saw him grinning at me before he started to sing along with the music.

This made me smile softly at him as I leaned in and pecked him softly on the lips, making him smile.

He gently grabbed my hands and held them while looking at me.

As soon as he said that my eyes widened in shock as my jaw slightly dropped.

He smiled softly at me as he gently caressed my cheek with one hand as he stared into my eyes.

Before I knew it my eyes were beginning to water as tears built up in my eyes while Wyatt continued singing.

He released his hand from my cheek, grabbed my hands and spun me around.

This made me laugh softly as I felt a few tears slid down my cheeks.

Wyatt stopped spinning me and I had to admit I was a little relieved since I was beginning to get a little dizzy.

He smiled softly at me and wrapped both arms around my waist, making me wrap both arms around his neck.

Wyatt smiled softly at me and I smiled softly back at him.

We both leaned into each other and pressed our lips together as I tangled my hand into his hair.

We pulled away and stared into each other's eyes with nothing but love and admiration.

A few more tears slid down my cheeks and Wyatt brought his hands up to cup my face and gently wipe my tears away with his fingers.

As he finished the song he slowly pulled away from me making me look at him in confusion.

But then my eyes widened when he slowly got down on one knee and pulled out a black box from his pocket.

My hands found their way towards my mouth as they covered it due to the shock.

"Malia, when I first laid my eyes on you I knew you were the one for me. Everything about you is perfect. Your beautiful eyes, your beautiful smile, everything about you is the reason why I wake up every morning. I know we had our issues in the past and it was my fault. I know I hurt you because of my mistakes and you don't know how sorry I was, and still am. We got through it but I will always hate myself for hurting you the way that I did in the past. But, here we are now, and I promise you that I will never make that mistake again. I love you with all my heart. You and our daughter mean the world to me and I can't see myself without either of you. Baby, I want us to spend our lives together, forever" Wyatt softly smiled.

At this point I was a crying mess with how many tears were streaming down my face.

My boyfriend then opened the box and I gasped at the beautiful ring that was inside of it.

Wyatt looked up at me, "Malia Rose. Will you marry me?".

I looked at him with tears streaming down my face, my eyes red and my cheeks slightly puffy.

He looked at me in worry, but that worry went away when a huge smile appeared on my face.

"Yes! Of course I will marry you!" I yelled, nothing but happiness in my tone.

Wyatt's eyes widened at that and before I knew it tears began to build up in his eyes and slid down his cheeks.

He immediately stood up from the ground and engulfed me in a tight hug to which I laughed in delight before hugging him back.

We pulled away as he took the ring out of the box and placed it on my finger.

I let out a small sob and looked at him to see that he was smiling with tears still streaming down his cheeks.

"Oh babe" I softly smiled.

I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist and we both pressed our lips against each others.

His hands went down to my thighs and he lifted me up from the ground which made me wrap my legs around his waist.

All of our friends started cheering and clapping as Wynter and Willa both let out loud howls.

Wyatt and I pulled away from the kiss and laughed before pressing our foreheads together.

Wyatt leaned in to give my forehead a kiss before setting me back down on the ground.

We turned to our friends and gestured for them to come forward and they immediately ran in our direction.

I stumbled backwards when the girls along with A-spen tackled me into a hug. I laughed and hugged them back.

I looked over to Wyatt and saw him getting hugged by all the guys.

The girls and A-spen pulled away from me as Willa came to my side and wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

"Congrats, M" Willa grinned.

"Thanks, W" I grinned back at her.

Wynter grabbed my hand in order to examine the ring. Elena and A-li came up from behind her into order to get a good look at the ring themselves.

"Oh my god, it's so beautiful" Wynter gasped.

"It sure is. Wyatt definitely picked a good one" Elena nodded.

"It's indeed beautiful" A-li nodded with a smile on her face.

Lacey and Stacey grinned and nodded their heads in agreement.

I laughed softly at that but found myself agreeing with them since the ring was indeed beautiful.

Addison let out a loud squeal and rushed forward to engulf me in a tight hug to which I laughed before hugging her back.

"Oh, congratulations Malia. I'm so happy for you" Addison told me.

"Thanks, Addy" I smiled at her.

"It's about damn time he asked you. I was getting tired of waiting" Eliza scoffed with a roll of her eyes.

I laughed at that especially when Willa and Wynter nodded their heads in agreement. 

Soon the boys walked over to us.

Zed was the first one to embrace me in a hug and I easily hugged him back.

"Oh, congrats Malia. I'm so happy for you" Zed told me as we pulled away.

"Thanks, buddy" I smiled at him.

Bucky, Bonzo and Jacey came and hugged me, making me smile as I hugged them back.

Next was A-lan.

"Congratulations, sister. I am very happy for you" A-lan smiled as we pulled back from the hug.

"Thank you, brother" I smiled at him.

He leaned in to kiss my forehead before going over to A-li.

Wyatt made his way over to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me into his side.

"I love you, Malia" Wyatt smiled.

"I love you too, Wyatt" I smiled back at him.

We leaned in to kiss each other to which everyone either wolf whistled or cheered causing us to laugh.

I can't believe we're engaged, this is the most amazing day of my life.

Oh, I wish Emily had been here to see it.

I can't wait to tell her when she wakes up from her nap.
