"You sure are a dummy, Noelle! Making us worried like that!" Nilou said, as she and the group walked down the streets of Sumeru City.

"I did apologize back then, am I? I didn't know that I would survive the final order myself beforehand."

"You made Aether crying non-stop all the way to the Sanctuary of Surasthana, making Paimon worried for him, and even Miss Ayaka is crying!"

"I do not." Ayaka lied behind her fan.

"Come on, I totally saw you crying ice tears! You even stayed behind mourning Noelle, and regretted being a terrible friend!"

"She did?" Noelle asked, raising one brow.

"S-Silence! Since when did I consider the daughter of the person who killed many of the Yashiro Commission's soldiers a friend?!"

"Since we shook hands before we left Inazuma?" Noelle asked again.

"T-that's just an apology, not a request for friendship!"

The group then stopped when Aether was called by a man who asked him about "A Moment of Dreams", which is something completely new to him and the group.

"Oh right, since what happened yesterday, now all can dream again." Nilou remembered.

The conversation between Aether and the man who is known as Pedrush then went into a complicated one after the former told him that he often dreams. Pedrush mistakenly believe because of this, Aether is a dream expert alongside Paimon and the girls. Nilou looked away rather shyly, as she did have the ability to foresee the future in a dream ever since she transcended. After some time talking, Pedrush then says that if they indeed are dream experts then they will get any snacks and drinks that they want.

"Aether, should we really...?" Noelle asked.

"Noelle, let me. Paimon, you're the boss."

Then, because of the promise of snacks and drinks, Paimon immediately agreed to become a dream expert.

"What?! What about Fontaine then, Aether!?" Ayaka asked.

"Fontaine can wait. Let's just see where this goes, Ayaka."

The group then went all the way to the site where Pedrush dubbed "A Moment of Dreams", where people gather and ask about the meanings of their dreams. Because Ayaka and Nilou didn't want to get involved in this, they just sit down on a nearby bench and listened on to Paimon's answers towards people's dreams.

At first it was simple, a man named Ata wants to become a slime. However the dreams get even more complicated like someone wanting to know what posture to sleep in, what to name a plant and such. But what struck Noelle's heart is the dream experienced by a man named Ilman, who dreamt of seeing and talking to his wife every time he dreamed. However his wife passed away.

Noelle is now unable to die because of what she has become. If she does continue on adventuring with Aether beyond worlds, will she be able to dream about her mother ever again? To sit down and talk with her beside the campfire in that one small dark dimension?

A pebble hits Noelle in the side of her head.

"Ow! Who did that?" Noelle asked.

"You are spacing off, Noelle. If you can't focus on guarding Aether, let us switch places." Ayaka replied, clearly having an ulterior motive.

"Maybe you are right. I need a little rest."

"Way to go, Noelle. A little rest is good for the soul." Nilou praised, patting Noelle in the back before handing her a deck of cards for TCG.

Paimon and Aether then bickered on who should be able to answer the more difficult questions regarding their dreams, and Aether decided that Nahida is the person. However Paimon rejects the idea, saying Nahida is probably busy, until Pedrush came in telling the both of them that a special guest has arrived.

"My question is, why didn't you immediately tell me about such an interesting place?"

Upon hearing that voice, The girls immediately looked towards the source and widened their eyes.

"""L-Lord Kusanali!"""

The three of them then dashed to face Nahida directly, and greeted her by bowing towards her.

Nahida explained that interesting events like "A Moment of Dreams" doesn't happen often, and she decided to check it out no matter how busy things are for her. However, when she asked the queue to feel free to ask her about the dreams, they didn't say anything.

"I can see that it makes sense, Lord Kusanali." Ayaka said, before continuing.

"Back in Inazuma, many people dare not to be confronted by the Raiden Shogun-Sama directly. As a symbol of power to the people, many fear her as well. But as for Lord Kusanali, I think they feel that they don't deserve to have the Lord of Wisdom to directly answer their dreams."

"That's a rather sensible thing to say, Shirasagi Himegimi of Inazuma. However, if what you say is true, then doesn't that mean that everyone in Inazuma are caged under her rule?"

"As a matter of fact, it once happened... The Sakoku Decree which took a lot of lives... Including that maid's mother."

"Shirogane Hinata? She did meet her end... Rather, it was my fault it happened."

Nahida explains to Ayaka on why she blamed herself for the death of Noelle's mother, which she previously explained to Noelle herself.

"So all those lives loss years ago... Is because of a misunderstanding?"

"Yes indeed, and The Fair Lady provoked her rage even more. Like stoking a fire with a twig, she managed to convince the young maid-knight's mother to go out on a rampage, like a blazing inferno, her rage burns through the three commissions, until your Shogun-Sama put her down for the greater good."

Ayaka begins to feel even more bad for being so hostile to Noelle everytime they talked. After that explanation, Ayaka excused herself and sat back down on the bench playing TCG with Noelle and Nilou.

They played on and on until they forgot that "A Moment of Dreams" is still going on. Aether then poked Noelle in the back, which gained her attention.

"Oh, Aether... What is it that you require of me?"

"It's not just that. I need help from the three of you. There's something going on about the people's dreams which caused them to sleepwalk and we're investigating it."

"Then I shall follow, but how does one manage to enter the same dream as the other?"

"Listen to Nahida, she should be able to do something..."

"Alright, the five of you are ready. Just close your eyes... imagine yourselves as waves gradually rolling onto the beach..."

When all of them opened their eyes, they find themselves in the dream world which is uncannily similar to the world where Ayaka and Noelle fought the legion of Signora in their nightmare. They moved through the dream world until they find a portal leading to what seems to be a manifestation of  Puspa Cafe in Sumeru City. There they find one of the people who participated in "A Moment of Dreams", Debbi, talking with two of her friends. However what she didn't realize is that the both of them are already dead. After a brief confrontation, another portal opened, and the group went in deeper into the dream.

"Miss Ayaka, if it was you who is dreaming, what would it be about?" Nilou asked.

"Being together with Aether, forever of course."

"You want to defeat Noelle, at least once, didn't you?" Nilou chuckles, after reading Ayaka's mind, who is clearly forgetting the fact that a water droplet from Nilou is reading her thoughts for her.

"What? Of course that's her purpose as my rival. Someone for me to eventually defeat no matter how challenging she may be as an opponent."

"But lady Ayaka, you're not even that good at it." Noelle bluntly said.

"Oh, silence, Noelle!"

"Be ready, girls. We're entering the next person's dream." Aether warned.

The group entered Ilman's dream where they finally meet who his family members are, which are his deceased wife, and still-living daughter. Ilman still longed for his wife, which is why he is there to begin with. Out of options to convince him to wake up, the group continued on until they find themselves at what seems to be a city street. Nahida notes that this is the edge of the dream, and the host is within it. Like what they did with waking up the Nilou clone that is the host of the 168 Sabzeruz Festival dream loop, they need to end this by waking whoever the host is this time so that the collective dreams that are dragging people into the dream world in "A Moment of Dreams" will stop, and prevent any sleepwalking incidents to occur in the future.

The group splits up to find the host by investigating their sayings, which could become a hint. In the end, Nahida found who is the host, a scholar named Moseis. It is revealed that Moseis utilized what he could with the Akasha to built the dream, and collect these people into it, while at the same time rendering him unable to wake up ever again. He did this with his ultimate purpose being that he will be together with his crush, Emira who owns the flower shop in this world.

Nahida tried her best to convince Moseis, but Moseis then summoned a couple of riftwolfs to threaten the group. It was then when the dream begins to spiral into chaos, and all the people who are created by the dream transforms into monsters including Emira, shattering Moseis' will. What was once Emira then pounced at Moseis, only for her to sink her fangs into the blade of The Unforged.

"This may be a tragic event, Mister Moseis, but I can't help but still go ahead to protect."

"Idiot! Why are you saving me!?"

"Because I know how it feels to nearly lose someone as well. If I lose that person completely, I do not even know what I will do."

Noelle then imbued the blade of The Unforged with geo, which sharpens and extends the previously blunt blade. She then pushed the blade deeper through the wolf's skull who is struggling against her inhuman strength.

And with one final push, Noelle managed to cleave Emira in half, who howls before disappearing into a rift.

Meanwhile Ayaka is fending off against a stonehide lawachurl who managed to catch her off guard which dispelled her transcended form, and started to pound her into the ground. Slowly more monsters begin to approach her.

"Fighting against all these monsters at once is pretty tough... Where is that airheaded maid when you need her!?" Ayaka whispered, as to not let Noelle hear that.

Nilou was nearly bitten by another riftwolf, only for Aether to save her by plunging his electro-imbued blade deep inside it's throat.

However, after that one attack, every single monster in the dream world starts to fade away, and Ayaka got back up. As it turns out, Moseis chose to end it all. However Nahida would give him more punishment rather than just letting him disappear.

And in an instant everyone woke up. The nightmare has ended, and Nahida hands over the Akasha containing Moseis' consciousness to the Matra, before she made a small speech to be given as a lesson to people who were in too deep with their dreams.

Noelle begins to remember, her original dream was to become a Knight of Favonius. After many trials and errors, she was given a task to serve Aether, which led to her transcendence into an immortal being. She learned that not every dream can be achieved, as there are other alternatives that will bring happiness like such dream. She stares at her wedding ring that Aether gave to her that night before she left the Knights forever.

"Since we woke up, let's stretch a little bit. A new day is about to begin." Said Nahida as she looks towards the rising sun, the direction where Inazuma is.

Aether and the group then parted ways with Nahida, and did their daily commissions and weekly requests together before heading off into the Serenitea pot to rest after a day of hard work.

In the master bedroom, Ayaka and Nilou slept with Aether on the large bed. However Aether then woke up in the middle of the night, and walked downstairs where he finds Noelle, in a white nightgown looking out into the moonlight.

"Oh, is there something that you require of me, Aether?"

"Why aren't you asleep, Noelle?"

"I am just thinking about Mondstadt. I think... I think I need to go back, for Weinlesefest."

"What's Weinlesefest?"

"It is a festival that celebrates the return of Lord Barbatos when the wind blows every fall."

"If you are a little homesick, I might as well take you there just for Weinlesefest, then."

"You will? Thank you, Aether!"

The both of them then closed the distance between each other, and planted their lips against one another, with Noelle having to tiptoe in order to reach him.

"For now, let's get a good night's rest."

Noelle nods, before the both of them entered Noelle's bedroom. However, Aether didn't get out of the room for the rest of the night.
