Aftermath Part 3
Finally, the next chapter is in. Need to start focusing on my other books as well.
Enjoy!
...
Silence
That was all that could be felt as the portal closed, leaving behind an unexpected group of people.
"Mom! Dad!"
Ruby shouted in joy as she raced to hug her parents.
SMACK!
Only for Summer to harshly backhand her, sending her flying back to the bullies table.
"Ruby!"
Came the various shouts as she landed onto the table.
"Mom! Why did you do that!"
Yang shouted in shock and anger at her stepmother actions. Eyes turned as she glared angrily at her.
"Oh, don't act shock!" Summer Rose scoffed, "Or did you forget what Tai said?"
"I believe it was 'We need to talk about your behavior here in Union.'"
Summer coldly stated.
"Ruby, Yang" Taiyang spoke up, gaining his daughters attention. "Why did you lie to us?"
"Wh-What?" Ruby said, dazed from the impact and stunned from the blow her mother administered to her.
"Don't play stupid!" Kali Belladonna shouted; the cheerful expression replaced by one full of anger. Shocking Blake as she never saw her mother act like this before. "We're talking about your treatment of one (M/N) (L/N)!"
!
Pure shock ran through their veins. How did they know about that!?
"You kids might as well answer your parents questions, it will only get worse if you continue lying."
Qrow said, causing Ruby and Yang to look at him. Only to double back in shock as they saw a nasty bruise on his right eye.
"Uncle Qrow! What happened to you!?" Yang shouted in shock at seeing her uncle current state.
"Karma" Winter simply stated, "For his inactions and stupidity."
-Flashback-
Qrow could be seen quickly flying towards Tai and Summer home. Worry surging through his mind, the message he received constantly replaying in his mind.
'Qrow! We need you back at the house. It's an emergency!'
Many scenarios flashed through his mind.
Were they okay?
Did something happen to Yang and Ruby?
Has his bad luck struck again?
When he saw his destination up ahead, he quickly transformed back into a human as he opened the door.
"Tai! Summer! What's...wrong?"
His question trailed off, as he saw that not only was Summer and Taiyang just fine. But his sister Raven was also there. The three of them sitting on the couch as they gave him a cold, disappointed stare.
"Raven? What are you-"
"That's not important right now."
Raven Branwen coldly interrupted her twin brother in her usual state of manner.
"Because at the moment, what we need to discuss is WHAT THE HELL ARE YANG AND RUBY DOING IN THAT SCHOOL BEHIND OUR BACKS!?"
Raven yelled, her calm, detached persona shattered as she roared at her younger brother.
"Wh-Wha-!?"
"We know they have been lying to us."
Summer emotionlessly said, her mind still in a state of disbelief at how her precious rose and joyful dragon had been shamelessly participating in horrible acts of bullying.
"And, if memory serves me right, weren't you supposed to tell us if anything was happening that concern them?"
Tai crossed his arms as he stood up, glaring at his brother in arms/law with an unhappy expression on his face.
"So then, why did you keep the fact that they had been bullying their fellow student just because he was powerless a secret?"
...Shit.
Qrow realized that he was royally screwed for not saying anything.
But how could he explain his reasoning for it?
Well, he better try at the very least.
"They're just kids." He started, taking a swing of his flask. "It's just the regular high school jazz, nothing new there. I mean, we had the same things like that when we were in school."
"Yes, that is true" Summer agreed. "But, NOT WHEN THE BULLIES IN QUESTION ARE OUR KIDS/NIECES YOU BONEHEAD!"
The sheer force of her scream somehow sent Qrow flying into the wall.
"Use your brain idiot!"
Smack!
Was the sound of Summer slapping Qrow hard in the face.
The stunned male could only gape at her in shock, not comprehending what just happened.
"It doesn't matter if that's just how schools work! We know that! What matters is that you knew that they were bullying someone, and you did nothing to stop it!"
(Does it bother anyone that in abused/neglected reader/oc stories that Qrow, if he's not participating in the abuse, more or less stands to the side while the Rose-Xiao Long family beats up the MC? Then he comes up with the flimsy excuse that he couldn't do anything about it lest he faces some kind of retribution? Bullshit. Absolute utter bullshit is what it is. He could have gathered evidence of the abuse or told Ozpin about it and have him secretly do something about it. But he did nothing, which is most likely even worse than participating in the abuse.)
"The kid gave as good as he get!" Qrow shouted, "Honestly, I didn't do anything because he was more than capable of defending himself. More often than not, he was the one who sent Yang and Ruby to the school infirmary from trying to attack him!"
"Huh" Raven mused. "Kid is impressive, I'll give him that."
After all, considering Yang and Ruby combat styles and semblances, that is not an easy task to do.
"Still, Qrow" Tai began walking up to him.
POW!
Qrow went flying into the air from that attack.
BAM!
Hitting the wall once again.
"Are you a fucking idiot!?" Tai shouted, "I don't care that this is normal high school stuff! What I care is that Ruby and Yang are bullying people just because they don't have a power or it's one that can be considered a villain power!"
"Summer and I never raised them to be like that!"
Groaning, Qrow got up as he stared at the disappointed stares of his former team.
"You know Qrow." Raven spoke up. "When Ozpin personally came to my camp and told of what had been going on in Union, I was shocked. I may have abandoned my family for selfish reasons, but if I had known what was going on I would have tried to make an effort in parenting."
-Flashback within a flashback-
"Raven!"
Her right hand (wo)man Vernal shouted.
"What is it, Vernal?" Raven sleepily asked.
"It's Ozpin! He's here!"
WHAT!?
That got Raven to wake up, confused and shocked at how Ozpin found the Tribe so easily.
"How bad is it?"
"That's the thing" Vernal explained confusedly, "He's here by himself, and he's requesting an audience with you."
...What in the world is going on?"
Frowning, she got out of her tent to the center.
Her tribespeople were standing concernedly with weapons at the helm. While Ozpin himself was calmly sipping from his mug.
"Hello Miss Branwen, it's been a long time."
"Ozpin" Raven frowned, not happy to see one of her enemies in front of her. "How did you find me?"
"The power of the Four Maiden comes from my magic imparted to them." Ozpin explained, sipping his hot chocolate. "As such, it is linked to me. Letting me know who the current Maidens are and where they are located."
"...What?" Raven deadpanned. "You mean to tell me you knew where I was all this time?"
"For the most part, yes." Ozpin confirmed, "But there are cases where I can't sense them. SHE being one of the causes because she can use her magic to hide the maiden presence from me. So, I don't always know."
"Then why-"
"Did I not do anything?" Ozpin finished, "Simple, despite what people like to think of me I do believe in free will after all. Regardless of your intentions or bad blood between us, I still believe that you deserve to choose for yourself what you want to do with your life."
"...OH" was all Raven could say. Obviously, Ozpin was not the puppet master she liked to image him as. He obviously did care about the well-being of the people he has sworn to protect.
"Besides, I would rather not have to walk in on a person personal life."
Here, Raven blushed getting what he was insinuating at. "O-Ozpin!"
She shouted,
"What?" Ozpin raised his eyebrow "Don't tell me a woman of your stature hasn't gotten a love life after all this time away from your former family?"
...
"Wow," Ozpin blinked, "And here I thought that you would have a harem of men ready to pleasure you."
"A harem of-!? What the fuck do you people take me for!?"
Raven shouted, shocked that her former headmaster implied that she was collecting a bunch of men to satisfy her desires.
Are they insane?!
(Have you seen the fanfics of you? No wonder even he thinks that)
"Well, guess you're more of a lonely woman than I thought."
"GACK!" Raven shouted as an arrow that had 'Forever Alone' inscribed in it stabbed her in the heart.
Her tribespeople were torn between laughing and keeping their mouths shut.
"I'm not lonely!" She yelled. "I can get a man if I want!"
Siiiiiip,
"Right" Ozpin continued drinking. "Setting aside your sad excuse of a love life (HEY!) let's get to the reason I'm here in the first place."
Blinking, Raven shook her head. She had completely forgotten to ask him that.
"Alright Ozpin," Raven crossed her arms "What is so important that you came here personally by yourself. I doubt it's because you want me to help you in your war, so what is it?"
Ozpin began explaining.
What she heard, started setting Raven off at what her brother had omitted from her.
-End flashback within a flashback-
"I am very furious right now Qrow." Raven coldly said. "I know that it's rich coming from me but leaving them alone to their own devices even when you know what they are doing is wrong is the height of foolishness."
"And when I left, and we talked that one time. You promised me that you will look after Yang, and make sure she would not take the path I had taken."
"And yet, here we are learning about things that should have been brought to Tai and Summer attention. But you said nothing."
Here Raven got up to his face.
"YOU IDIOT!"
-End Flashback-
"So?" Ghira placed his hands on his waist. "Aren't you going to answer us? I for one would LOVE to know what your excuse is Blake."
Ghira coolly said, keeping his calm. He couldn't believe that his kitten would commit such acts of violence towards another person for no reason other than bullying.
...Silence filled the cafeteria, as the bullies said nothing. The faculty staff (the school alarms alerted them to an unexpected intrusion) kept quiet as well, even though they were trespassing they could only watch head on.
"...Jaune" Mr. Arc (Has RWBY revealed the rest of Jaune family names? I dropped it after the truth of Ozpin and Salem was revealed so I don't know if they did by now. I only know Saphron but that's it) spoke: "Why did you participate in such despicable acts?"
"I-I..." Jaune stammered. He never expected his family to learn about what he had been doing while in school that he was caught off guard.
"Answer your father, Jaune." Mrs. Arc coldly ordered. "What was the reason you did it? What was so good a reason that you would dishonor our name, and reputation?"
"He was just a nobody!" Jaune shouted. "A nobody that had no power, nothing worth of note, and did not deserve to be in a school like Union!"
"Yeah!" "He's right" "That powerless nobody didn't deserve to attend here!"
"QUIET!!" Ghira roared, silencing the crowd with shock and fear. "I am appalled at how you treat your fellow student. It's no wonder he left and has attained new heights while the majority of you remain stagnant."
"You are one to talk Jaune" Saphron angrily spoke, she couldn't believe her precious baby brother would do such things. But here they were confronting him and his friends over their behavior. "Or should I talk about your FAKE transcripts."
...Silence once more filled the room, as people turned to a stunned Jaune whose face paled so much that he would make Orochimaru jealous.
"Wh-What?"
"Did you honestly think we wouldn't know about that?"
Saphron coldly cut into her brother sentence. "Or have you forgotten how protective Mom and Dad are of you that training was virtually impossible for you. We kept quiet because we knew this was what you wanted. We believed that attending Union would help make you a better person and transform you into the warrior that you can be."
"Obviously," One of his other sisters spoke up, "We were wrong, especially since we were given access to the reviews that teachers had of their students. Your grades are abysmal, you haven't improved in combat, you spend an inappropriate amount of time flirting with the Schnee Heiress even though she has made it clear she's not interested."
"You have done nothing worth of note, and to make matters worse you bully someone who actually made it here without having to resort to underhanded measures."
"You are lucky that we haven't disowned you for how much of a disgrace you truly are."
"But at least he is improving!"
Ruby shouted at in defense of her friend.
"And even though he faked his way to Union, he has the right to attend."
Blake spoke up this time, getting her parents attention.
"Blake" Kali stone faced expression shut her up. "My precious kitten, how could you say that and yet not feel guilt over how you treated your fellow classmate?"
"He's a racist and a hypocrite!" Blake angrily shouted.
How could they not see it?!
"Because he gave young Velvet a wake-up call?" Kali questioned. "For helping her see that letting people walk all over her will not benefit both her and the faunus?"
"For helping her grow a backbone and helping her accept that it's okay to ask for help?"
"For helping her realize that she has a masochist kink?"
"I DO NOT HAVE A MASOCHIST KINK!" Velvet screamed; face very red at that implication. "WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LET IT GO?!"
"And if what we have heard from Professor Ozpin is correct." Ghira spoke, pretending not to hear the in-denial girl denial. "He also has helped the White Fang in ways we could never have imagined."
Here, Ghira frowned. Remembering the information Ozpin told him when (M/N) and his friends fought Trihexa and Tiamat.
He knew things had changed, but never in his wildest dreams did he ever imagined just how out of control the new White Fang really was.
"Helped!?" Blake shouted, "What do you mean by help?"
"Did you really forget the conversation you had with Adam?" Ghira asked rhetorically, "Because if what your Headmaster has told me is true, then he told you plain out what certain members of the White Fang had been doing behind Sienna Khan back."
"I don't know how (M/N) convinced him to leave the WF and start anew with his new team. But we owe them a debt of gratitude for revealing the hidden corruption that no one knew about."
"That was a lie to throw the White Fang under the bus!" Blake yelled, "He could not live with his evil actions and fabricated lies to make himself look good!"
(That kind of what I was getting from her. She has a hard time believing that certain people can change because of who they are.)
"Sienna would say otherwise." Kali calmly responded; arms crossed. "Since we still had access to the WF HQ, we were asked to bring her to our house so that she could hear everything that we were about to be told. When we did, we were told everything: From your lies to your bullying, to the damage you left behind in your missions that can make Fairy Tail look like child play."
"...And to the accusations that Adam brought forth about the White Fang."
"Sienna was in denial at first, she thought that she was running a tight ship under her command. But then, she remembered certain reports that made no sense, reports about certain White Fang members that mysteriously died or disappeared. Members that were under Adam command."
"When she realized that, her denial turned to horror. She looked like she was about to be sick, can't blame her we too did not take it easy as well. Then, it turned to fury, she could not believe what had been happening behind her back and that she was blind to it."
"She isn't here right now because she's currently cleaning house at the moment."
"May whatever deity they believe in have mercy on their souls because Sienna won't."
"And neither will we" Ghira coldly stated.
"Wha-but they're just misguided!" Blake protested. "They don't know what they are doing!"
"DON'T KNOW!?" Ghira roared in anger at his daughter denial. "That doesn't matter in this case, what matters is that they are committing atrocities that cannot be taken back! That their so-called faunus patriotism is bringing the faunus nothing but more hate and vile."
"We don't need that kind of 'symbol' to represent us! And that wasn't the only reason we're furious. Don't you see Blake? If they are willing to do that to innocents who are just trying to live, what to say they won't do that to their fellow faunus? Don't you realize the danger you were possibly in? If Adam didn't you have under his care, then who knows what could have happened to you?"
That was a slap in the face to Blake. She wanted to argue that they would never do that, but she knew her father had a good point. Regardless of how her relationship with Adam went, he at the very least still had some dignity not to resort to such horrible tactics.
"*Sigh* Blake" Ghira put a palm to his hand. "You have to understand that the world isn't as black and white as you may think it is. But there are various shades of grey that dominate those lines. While I can't fully forgive Adam actions, I can still be proud that he is finally able to find his own way away from the White Fang and with the very humans that he swore to subjugate for all faunus."
"So please, daughter open your eyes to the world beyond your rosy glasses and accept that not everything is the way you want it to go."
Having said their piece and leaving a stunned Blake to silently stew and contemplate. The Xiao-Long/Branwen/Rose family stepped up.
"Yang, Ruby" Taiyang Xiao-Long spoke up. "Why?"
It was one word, but that word carried a lot of meaning behind it.
Why did they do it? Why did they go against everything their parents taught them? Why did they bully their powerless classmate?
And why did they not have an answer?
Having witness the tongue lashing the other parents had given their kids, it was understandable that they were hesitating to answer.
"We..." Yang trailed off, why did she do it? That was the question she couldn't answer.
Because she didn't know herself why, when she saw just how powerful he is. She should have been overjoyed that there was someone in Union that could give her a run for her money. Power or not.
But instead she outright ridiculed him, threatened his family, continually harassed him whenever she and her friends got the chance. Mocked him when she knew that she was wrong.
...So then, why?
Ruby was also facing the same dilemma. Why did she do that? Thinking about it now, it made no sense for her to bully someone.
"What? You got no answer?" Raven crossed her arms, her cold expression glaring down on them. "Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised considering how high school works."
"You become something you are not. Wow, talk about being the family pride."
Her mocking, sarcastic tone set off Yang, as she angrily glared at her biological mother.
"Shut up mom, you have no room to talk!" She snarled, eyes turning red as she glared angrily at her. "You abandoned us shortly after I was born, you got no room to talk!"
"True." Raven conceded. "I can be more or less the 'kettle calling the pot black.' But you know something? When I attended Union myself so many years ago..."
"I never treated the powerless or those with villain like quirks the way you and your friends have."
That statement sent chills down their spines.
"I may be cold and seek power that I would cut ties with those I care for. But even I'm not without heart, and funnily enough some of those powerless people are elites in my Tribe. Believe it or not, I actually respect those that were born with such limitations yet could arise to surpass even the 'stars' that everyone praised and go beyond what society thinks they should."
"Ironic, isn't it? The cold, power-seeking Raven Branwen treating them with a level of respect layered under apathy."
"Yet you, my daughter, despite being raised by Tai and Summer have done the exact opposite."
Sigh,
"Well, I suppose that what's you get for having Qrow as a bad influence (Hey!). But still, I am truly disappointed in you Yang."
THAT hurt more than Yang would like to admit.
"I truly thought Ozpin was lying when he told me what had been happening here. But it seems that I cannot ignore it anymore."
"So, congratulations, I will be making more visits from now on to make sure you are curbed of this bothersome habit you have."
With that said, Raven took a step back.
"Yang" Tai spoke up, arms crossed, face stern. "I'm confiscating Bumblebee until further notice."
"WHAT!?" Yang yelled in shock. "But Dad!"
"Don't but me young lady!" Tai shouted, stunning Yang and ruby. "Be grateful that's all I'm doing! You are lucky that I still believe that you two can make up for your actions otherwise I would have pulled you out of this school!"
"You can't do that you extra!" Bakugo shouted, furious at how her friend father was treating her. "She and her sister belong here! They earned their place here unlike that powerless nobody!"
Before the other bullies (with the exception of surprisingly Naofumi) could add their own two cents.
BAM!
Taiyang brutally smashed a table straight to the ground, leaving a massive hole in his wake.
"Shut up and mind your own business girl." He coldly said, "This is a conversation between family and an arrogant fool like yourself has no place in it. Not after what you have done."
Growling, Bakugo shot out of her seat, ignoring the teachers orders to stand down, and lunged to Tai. Explosions at the ready.
WHAM!
Only for Tai to swing his arm at her face. His fist making contact with her face and sending her sliding onto the ground.
"Stay out of this, child." Tai ice-cold eyes glared at her, freezing her in place.
"Ruby" Summer spoke up. "Care to explain?"
"...I don't know." Ruby shamefully admitted. "I guess I was just following my friends example and got caught up without realizing it was wrong. Then there was an incident where I tried to hit him with my scythe, and he smashed it into pieces in defense. I guess that was when I truly started hating him and wanted him gone."
"...*Sigh* You always did have an unhealthy attachment to your weapon." Qrow sighed. "Too unhealthy in my opinion now that I realized it."
Ruby bowed her head down in shame.
"No strawberries and cookies until further notice." Summer decided.
Ruby said nothing but nodded her head.
"Weiss," Winter spoke up this time, hands clasped behind her back as she coldly glared at her now meek sister. "Words cannot describe how furious I am with you. I thought back then when your former classmate fought off Trihexa and Tiamat that it was because you were jealous that he managed to win against them. I was disappointed back then, because instead of being grateful you were screaming death threats at him and his team for being there."
"Now, however, I am appalled at your behavior. I cannot believe that you so willingly lied to me in your letters about what you were really doing behind those sweet words and reassurances."
"I..."
"I what?" Winter interrupted her sister. "What? Did he ignore you? Was it that he was not impressed that you are the Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company? Newsflash, his parents work at Wayne Industries a far more impressive company if you ask me with Stark Industries being its equal. Did he point out the flaws in your techniques that you hadn't noticed before and it made you mad that he was able to? Did he get better grades then you? I know how easily mad you get when someone scores better then you on a test that you felt you should have gotten a better score."
...She was hitting the marks and more in her interrogation.
"Or maybe-"
"I get it!"
Weiss shouted, face red and flustered. "Yes, I won't deny that I felt that he should have given more respect as an Heiress to a famous company. And maybe I was mad that he was able to see what I couldn't with my sword techniques and form. But a powerless becoming a hero? That's unheard of!"
"Maybe in Japan." Winter rebutted. "But the rest of the world doesn't completely see it that way. Or have you forgotten about Batman and Iron Man? Green Arrow? A majority of the Avengers? Members of the Justice League? The list goes on."
"And Batman and Iron Man have saved not just our world, but the universe as well. Taking on the likes of Thanos and Darkseid and managing to come back alive."
"When superpowered heroes cannot say the same after encountering monsters of their caliber."
Shaking her head, Winter leveled a heavy stare at her beloved sister.
"If there is one thing, I had hoped to leave you with is that: you should not underestimate people based on whether they have a power or not. If said power could be considered villainous or not."
"Just because he didn't possess a power, doesn't mean you should have bullied him. Even if his so-called actions towards your friend over there"
Points at Velvet.
"Was a little over the top, didn't mean you should have bullied him."
"I didn't bully him out of spite!" Weiss suddenly yelled, startling Winter. "I-I just just..."
"Just what?" Winter cautiously asked.
"I just couldn't help come to terms with the facts that I had somehow fallen for him!"
...Crickets chirping.
Silence was all that could be heard from that bold declaration. Stunning the entire cafeteria, and secretly pissing off a certain blond.
(Get over it Jaune, she's not interested in you. Never was, never will be)
...Something stirred inside Yang at that statement. What it was, she didn't know.
"...What?" Winter blinked, did her sister say what she thought she did?
Blushing, Weiss continued: "Yes, I admit it now. I somehow fell in love with (M/N) *Dolphin chirp* (L/N)!"
She yelled out at the top of her lungs.
"I can't help it! There's something about him that makes him different than the other boys in the school. No, can he really be called a boy with those muscles?"
Here, Leo felt a twinge of jealously stir in her. She saw his muscles.
"Weiss...you're making it sound like you saw-I did!" Weiss interrupted her sister. "One day, I was walking past the gym, and I accidentally saw him without a shirt on working out. God! The dreams I had that night sent me into a state of insanity! All I could think of was snuggling against him and feeling those muscles!"
(I had to stop several times because I could not stop laughing at what I was writing. What a tsundere)
"It scared me, I never had these kinds of thoughts before and the fact I could not get him out of my head scared me!"
"And because you couldn't deal with those types of feelings you felt the only way was to hurt him to express those feelings." Winter surmised, surprised at this unexpected revelation. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Oh, and you have been in love before?" Weiss deadpanned.
"URK!" Winter gasped as an arrow struck her at that. 'Forever Alone' could be seen above her head.
"Doesn't matter anyways." Weiss sighed, "I screwed up big time and there's no way he'll return my feelings."
(Hhmmmm...)
"Look, just leave please." Weiss tiredly asked. "I know what I did was wrong, and I guess I always known. If he ever forgives me, that will be enough."
"Weiss" Winter stared at her sister sadly, "It may not be as hopeless as you think."
"?"
Continuing as she saw she got her sister full attention: "You may not have realized this yet, but Father he's changed."
"!?"
That got everyone attention, the Jacques Schnee changing? That was almost saying that pigs can fly.
(In the world you guys live in, I wouldn't be surprised)
"I don't know how, and I don't know why" Winter admitted, "But what I do know is that he has changed the SDC labor policies and has been treating all workers-both human faunus fairly now. It's a slow process as many don't want to change how things are run concerning the faunus, but the past year he has been making an effort to better the faunus lives in the Dust mines."
"He still is set on making money, but he seems to be approaching it differently now."
"If a man like him can change, then perhaps you still have a shot at (M/N)."
Weiss said nothing, but if the expression on her face was anything to go by, there was a small smile on her face.
Blake wanted to protest that Jacques would never change without a motive, but her parents words weighed heavily on her head.
Maybe, just maybe she was wrong, and people can change?
Naofumi had remained silent throughout the family talks, taking in everything they were saying.
'Maybe I really have been in the wrong.' He thought to himself. 'Maybe it wasn't that I didn't believe that Malty could change, but that my anger and hatred of her was clouding my reasoning.'
'Maybe (M/N) was right after all.
He remembered a conversation one time when he had tried to attack him.
Naofumi: "Why do you defend her? Don't you see how much of a manipulative witch she is?"
(M/N): "It's true that her actions are horrible and can be seen as irredeemable. But, has anyone seen her for who she truly is?"
"She might try to hide it but hidden deep inside her is someone who wants to redeem herself but is too afraid to take that first step."
"If she doesn't want to take it herself, then I will be the light to guide her."
Naofumi: "...Fool"
'Perhaps I was the true fool.' Naofumi thought bitterly to himself, his mind seemingly clearing for the first time in a while. 'I think I too need to take a long hard look at, not just myself but at everyone else.'
'Perhaps then, I can make amends and see for myself if Malty has truly changed.'
With that in mind, and unknown to him, a weight seemed to be lifted off his shoulders as he watched silently at the scene before him.
Slash!
Raven opened a portal with her katana, gesturing for her fellow adults to enter.
"Well, this is goodbye for now sister." Winter calmly spoke. "If you and your friends truly wish to make amends and become the heroes, we know you can be. Then you need to take a look at yourselves and ask yourself: what do you want to be remembered as?"
With that said, she walked through the portal along with the others.
Raven stood quietly, before speaking.
"Yang" Grabbing her daughter attention, she continued: "The world can be cruel and unjust at times, but it can also be wonderous and beautiful as well. I didn't realize this until after I left, and by then I felt it was too late."
"If you don't want to end up alone for the rest of your life. Then don't continue to be the woman you are now, rather be the woman I know you can truly be."
"Goodbye, daughter"
With that said, Raven entered the portal. Closing it behind her and leaving a silent Yang contemplating on what her mother said.
The students and staff members quiet as their words slowly sank in and Union was never the same again.
Annnnnd done! Man! That took longer than I wanted it too. We got the confrontation between parents and their children (something I kind of wish I saw in other Union stories) and unexpected confessions and signs of possible love?
I know what some of you are probably thinking: Ugh, is this going to be the typical MC forgives bullies and bangs them Shtick?
Well kinda, they still need to work on getting his forgiveness first before getting a chance to date him.
Well, they probably have a better chance than Raven non-existent love lif-WOAH!
Quickly ducks as a katana is seen stuck to a wall.
Raven: "Stop making fun of my love life!"
Me: "You mean your non-existent love life? Yikes!"
Does a Matrix style dodge to avoid a barrage of katanas.
Raven: "DIE!"
Me: "Goodbye"
A portal opens up under her, causing to fall.
Raven: "Curse yyoooooouuuuuuuu!"
...Anyways, where was I?
Yeah, some will be a part of the harem but that will be my decision on who joins. If I let people decide it going to be chaotic.
Now then, there is just one more Aftermath chapter and then we will continue on with the story. The last part will be Sakura explaining about Shinachiku and how Minato knows about him.
Have a good day/night!
