Emma listened to the entire story from her father about what Hawk Moth meant when his son was murdered. Sayuri was mad at her own father for why he never told her about Flairmidable for stealing all the miraculous and trading with the biggest monster.

"Sayuri, I know what I did was wrong. But when I met your mother, everything changed me. I realized what I was missing all along. Love. Your grandfather gave me torture in my childhood before he died. Please, I'm not that guy anymore" Felix begged his daughter.

"Darling, he may have done mischief things but I helped him become a better man. We fell in love. He saved me from your grandma" Kagami said.

Sayuri sighs and looks at her father, "No wonder I got this from you, father"

"Yeah, aside from your mother's skills. I also wanted to avenge Adrien while he was temporarily dead at the hands of Lila Rossi" Felix said.

"That flaming woman was her?" Sayuri asked.

"Yes," Felix said.

"Daddy, you sacrificed your life to save Mom when she was pregnant with me?" Emma asked.

"Yes, I couldn't let Lila take away your mother from me. All of Paris mourned my demise until this Vampire deity brought me back to life" Adrien explained how he returned to life, "He said I wasn't ready to die because it wasn't that moment. And so, I suffered a minor amnesia, reunited with your mother, and got my justice to stop my father from terrorizing Paris. For you see, he was madly obsessed with the miraculous that my mother tried so hard to convince him to stop but he never listens" He explained and shuddered at the terrible memories of what his father put him through, "Your grandfather was the terrorist because he wanted the miraculous to make a wish to bring my mother back but your mother and I have defeated his akumas a lot. The wish has a terrible price to pay in exchange"

"I'm sorry you two went through all this. Grandpa is a monster" Emma said.

"Like a real monster," Louis agreed with his sister.

"He was the worst, darlings. He forced your father to bond with Aunt Kagami against his will" Marinette said.

"He even blamed me for everything but he started all of this. Especially the Friendship Weekend in New York, he blamed me for being in a 'dangerous place' and forced me to leave my friends behind" Adrien explained.

"Is that why you never talk about him?" Emma asked.

"I'm sorry I never told you, my kitten. I just wanted to forget, be a good father and husband, and have a real family of my own. Emma, your grandfather neglected me too much, never was a father to me because he was never there for me. But that all changed when I was given a cat miraculous and fell in love with your mother. Gabriel could never see the happiness I was building" Adrien hugs his kids.

"Oh, daddy. I'm sorry you went through so much. But you found the love that you've been looking for and made a family. That's what a real family is. Your father has no idea what he had all along until it's gone. That's his fault for not seeing how much you've grown to be a sweet man" Emma said.

"I won't let him destroy our family," Adrien said.

"Together we're strong" Marinette joined the hug.

"Tell me everything what my grandfather did to you, Dad. No more secrets this time" Sayuri wants the truth.

"Where do I start with? Ever since he was alive, he has been mistreating me, verbally abusing me and he called me a monster than a son. Even on his deathbed when I tried reaching out to him, he rejected me. That's why I've been missing love in my heart, it was all my father's fault. Until Kagami filled my heart with it" Felix sighs sadly.

"I didn't know what a monster my grandfather was. He sounds worse than Gabriel" Sayuri said.

"He was. I'm never gonna be like him" Felix hugs his daughter.

After everything was settled, they put the kids to bed. Adrien looked at his sleeping daughter, promising her and her brothers that he will make sure to not let harm come to them. He soon went to his and Marinette's bedroom.

"You okay, kitty?" Marinette sees he looks distressed.

"The return of Gabriel and Lila after all these years is getting into me," Adrien said.

"You did kill Lila when you were a vampire. How did she escape death?" Marinette asked.

"I wonder that too. She must have struck a bargain with the Devil" Adrien said.

"And got your father out of the asylum. This is worse than I thought" Marinette said.

"I know my love. Our family is in danger" Adrien said.

"The deity knew this day would come, didn't he?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah. Why can't my father change? All these years, I spared his life but now he just wants what he wants" Adrien looks out the window.

"The time in the asylum only messed up his mind," Marinette said.

"I couldn't kill him, milady. I simply saved him from the cataclysm spreading on his body because I had to get the truth out to Paris" Adrien said.

"I know, Kitty. But now he's threatening to destroy our family. Somehow he managed to reclaim the butterfly brooch" Marinette said.

"How? I thought it was hidden in plain sight" Adrien said.

"It was but he threatened our sons if I didn't hand it over. I couldn't bare to lose my bugs" Marinette sobs in his chest and Adrien comforted his wife, "I had no choice, Adrien"

"Hey, look at me. You did the right choice to choose our sons. I would have done the same too. We will defeat Lila and my father. As long as I'm undead again, they can't kill me" Adrien said.

"Together" Marinette kissed Adrien.

The next day, Emma was walking in Paris to clear her mind off since last night. Plagg was told by his owner to look after her in case something happens to her again.

"I know how it feels having an evil grandfather, Emma," Plagg said.

"And one that threatened my family" Emma replied.

"Your father and I did not know that Gabriel was Hawk Moth the entire time. Your dad thought he was busy with work but technically he was akumatizing victims" Plagg said.

"He has destroyed many people's lives. Even before I was born" Emma said and stops by her grandparents' bakery, "Ah yeah, my favorite bakery" She goes inside.

"Ah, our favorite granddaughter. What can we help you with?" Tom asked.

"Hi, Grandpa. I would love some macaroons please" Emma said.

"Coming up" Tom picks some macaroons to give to his granddaughter. He noticed her looking concerned, "What's the matter, Emma?"

"Oh, nothing. Just overworked too hard with everything. Thanks by the way" Emma said.

"No worries," Tom said.

Sabine then came in and saw Emma, "Hello Emma"

"Hi Grandma," Emma said.

"How's your day?" Sabine asked.

"It's alright, well except that Hawk Moth has returned," Emma said.

"It's all over the news this morning. It's a nightmare" Sabine said.

"My parents will do everything they can to stop him, Grandma," Emma said.

Suddenly, a snobby woman with blond hair and sapphire eyes with her bodyguards barged into the bakery for a treat.

"Oh no, not her again" Emma recognized the woman as the former mayor's daughter, Chloe.

Years ago, Mayor Bourgeois divorced his wife and disowned his only daughter for being selfish, heartless, and unappreciated by Paris. So instead, he took care of Zoe Lee who treated him nicely. Everyone in Paris banished Chloe and her mother to New York.

"Chloe Bourgeois I presume?" Emma glared at her.

"Move it, brat! I expect a better sweets this time!" Chloe demanded.

Emma did not like her being rude to her grandparents but the bodyguards blocked her way, "Excuse me" Emma moved them aside, "Get out, now!" Emma glared at the snobby woman, "My parents told me all about you and I don't like selfish women like you tormenting innocents for your entertainment"

"Hahaha! Do you think you have the power to tell me what to do?! You're utterly ridiculous like your mommy! Your daddy should have been by my side long ago!" Chloe laughed mockingly.

"She said get out or I will show you what a real woman I am" Sayuri came into the bakery and gave a very cold stare at Chloe, reminding her that her father is extremely violent.

"And who are you?" Chloe asked her.

"You have no idea, do you? I am the daughter of Felix and Kagami Fathom. And I won't say this again. Get....out!" Sayuri did her cold glare.

"URGH! This is getting out of hand! Let's leave at once!" Chloe storms off in a huff with her bodyguards.

"I can't believe she could return to Paris," Emma said.

"She still lost power and yet she hasn't changed at all. You guys okay?" Emma said to her grandparents.

"We're okay, Emma. Just need to ban her from this bakery" Tom said.

"I never liked that woman. Not after what she did to humiliate your mother" Sayuri said before leaving the bakery with Emma.

"See you later Grandpa and Grandma" Emma waved to her grandparents.

Later, the two cousins discussed about Chloe, "Is that true, Emma? That while your mother was pregnant, Chloe called you a mistake of nature?" Sayuri asked.

"Yes. Mom told me about her high school life and who was the nastiest bitch that humiliated her and everyone" Emma said while eating her sweets at the cafe table.

"From what I've heard, she was foolish enough to team up with Lila," Sayuri said.

"Mom told me that. Lila was the reason my mom never wanted to talk about it. My dad once told me that this Lila person was a manipulative liar and she tried to frame my mom. But then, she got akumatized and tried to get revenge but my dad stopped her. And that was it" Emma explained, knowing that the real story was that her father killed Lila.

"And yet she returned to make our lives hell, literally," Sayuri said.

"Yup. My dad thought she could change but he was wrong" Emma said.

"Let's hope your dad can scare the hell out of her," Sayuri said.

"Yep. She only sees anyone as pawns" Emma said.

"Hello," Lorenzo stopped skateboarding.

"Oh, hi there, Lorenzo" Emma greeted him.

"Hi," Sayuri said coldly.

"What are you two ragazze up to today?" He asked.

"Not much except about the former mayor's daughter has ignored her banishment and returned to Paris," Sayuri said.

"Oh. The mayor's daughter years ago?" Lorenzo asked and took a seat.

"Yeah, Chloe is nothing but a spoiled brat and still is as an adult," Emma said.
