Cat Noir spied on his daughter at the cafe outside, wanting to know who this boy she talks to. He doesn't want her to get hurt. He respects her decisions but sometimes he can be a little overprotective of her.

"I'm scared, Emma. You know Lila is my mother and my dad hated her so much for abandoning us. I never knew she would go this far to deceive everyone like it doesn't bother her for doing something very wrong" Lorenzo was feeling very stressed out about his mom.

"Even by going as far as trying to kill my mother," Emma said.

Cat Noir heard the name of the boy's mother. Lila wasn't lying when she said she had a son.

"I had to change my name to break connections with her. Everyone would hate me for being related to a monster" Lorenzo said.

"I understand, Lorenzo. My grandfather was never a true Agreste but my father claimed it" Emma said.

"Why would he go to such lengths to bring his wife back? Don't you think living in the past means no future?" Lorenzo asked.

"Exactly. Grandma was disgusted by his actions" Emma nodded.

"Was he aware of it?" Lorenzo asked.

"Somewhat yes but his madness corrupted him. He had a woman to look after my father like a mother but she died from a terrible illness. She protected him from my grandfather's madness that could've betrayed him" Emma explained about Nathalie.

"I'm sorry about that," Lorenzo said.

Cat Noir could tell he was nothing like Lila. If he was really raised by her, he would have become like her.

"But now that she has risen from hell there are consequences to face" Lorenzo then said.

"There was a time that your mother was the fake fox hero. The real fox hero is Rena Rouge" Emma said.

"She was?" Lorenzo was unfamiliar with Volpina.

"Yes, Lila was Volpina but Rena Rouge was a real one than a fake," Emma said.

"I can't imagine she would lie to Paris," Lorenzo said.

"To everyone too," Emma said.

Cat Noir can tell that this boy never had a friend until he met Emma, "That's my girl" He smiled seeing she understands his pain.

"Does your father hate my mother? He has every right to hate the same way I do" Lorenzo asked.

"Yes, after all, he was beyond furious at her after being brought back from the dead" Emma said.

"Sounds like God gave him a second chance to live," Lorenzo said.

"Yeah, thanks to a bat-version of Cat Noir" Emma kept her father's identity secret.

"Interesting" Lorenzo replied and had some of the fruit cake he ordered.

"My mother despised Lila a lot. I don't blame her. She tried so hard to prove her friends the truth but they didn't believe her. Friends are supposed to support and trust" Emma said.

"Sounds really stupid of them," Lorenzo said.

"My mom once told me that lying is very powerful. Anyone can be easily fooled" Emma said.

"Heroes lie for good reasons to protect those they love at times," Lorenzo said.

"Whatever the reason your mother left you, it's probably something she did not see how special you are. Like my grandfather could never see the happiness my father was building on his own nor how special he is" Emma said.

"Yes. The world is full of rotten people" Lorenzo said.

"Everyone lies every day, Lorenzo. I gotta go now. Thanks for the fruit cake" Emma said.

"You're welcome, Emma" Lorenzo smiled.

As Emma left him, Cat Noir followed his daughter.

She walks down the street until she walked past an alley Cat Noir landed near her, "Da-I mean Cat Noir?!"

"Hey there my favorite kitten fan," Cat Noir said.

"How long have you been here?" She asked.

"Not that long. I've been hunting mice in the alleys. It's in my nature" Cat Noir licks his paw.

"Really?" Emma raised a brow.

"Meow, my little kitten's curiosity killed her" Cat Noir teased.

"You're too funny," Emma said.

"See you soon" Cat Noir whispered and pole vaulted out of here.

Elsewhere, Marinette was heading home to the mansion. She took her sons to the park and they were very sleepy from having too much fun.

"It's alright boys. We're soon home" Marinette said.

"So sleepy, Mom" Louis yawned.

"Me too," Hugo said.

"Here we are my bugs. Home sweet home" Marinette heads inside the mansion.

"Oh yeah!" Hugo and Louis ran to their room.

Marinette then heads to the living room to chat with Tikki, "Do you think the twin cousins know what they are doing?" Tikki asking about the plan if something goes bad.

"I'm sure they know. Both don't want to be controlled again by that monster. He won't destroy the family" Marinette said.

"That monster should know that he let Emilie down long enough. He doesn't deserve her" Tikki said.

"Yes, and fifteen years later he won't stop at nothing," Marinette said.

"Yes, even without his brooch," Tikki said.

"But what if Lila and he send demon pawns?" Marinette wondered.

"Your husband is here to protect all of us," Tikki said.

"I know," Marinette said.

"And he always will" Bat Noir hanging upside down from the ceiling.

"Hey honey," Marinette said.

"You turn my world upside down" Bat Noir smirked.

"Mine too. How's our kitten?" Marinette giggled.

"She's doing fine and I saw her talk with Lorenzo" Bat Noir said.

"A friend of hers?" Marinette guessed.

"That's right. I may have been spying on them" Bat Noir admitted.

"Kitty. She's gonna think you're being an overprotective parent" Marinette said.

"I know, I know. I just want her safe. But this is different now when Gabriel and Lila came back. She doesn't know much about akumas or the miraculous" Bat Noir said.

"All she knows is that akumas feeds on negative emotions," Marinette said.

"It's more than just feeding on negative emotions. The butterfly brooch grants the power of generosity to turn them into superheroes. But Gabriel did this for evil and it's cursed now" Bat Noir jumps down.

"Yes. It's time to seal it" Marinette said.

"I can't believe he would do this again. It was madness than last time" Nooro said.

"Yes, and it pissed Felix off so much. He has worked so hard to be happy with his family" Bat Noir said.

"I warned Gabriel to not do this but he shut my mouth again. He's very inhuman. He did sell his soul to Satan so he could get his wife back" Nooro said.

"All thanks to Lila now," Bat Noir said.

"Yeah. At least there's no such thing as a devil kwami" Marinette said.

"Real or not, my father is beyond insane for making wrong choices in life. He knows my weakness and he could do whatever he can to get my mother and kill my stepfather" Bat Noir said.

In London, Emilie and her new husband known as the Duke saw Gabriel and demonic Lila here in the penthouse.

"Hello there Emilie" Gabriel grinned.

"Gabi!" Emilie gasped.

"What are you doing here?!" Duke yelled.

"Take your hands off my wife!" Gabriel said menacingly.

"I'm no longer your wife Gabriel! What you did to our son was horrible but on our granddaughter and grandniece was BEYOND EVIL!!!" Emilie yelled.

"You weren't kidding that he's a monster," The Duke said.

"Yeah. And why is that lying girl here?! Isn't she supposed to be dead?" Emilie noticed Lila.

"And I thought you're supposed to be kind-hearted. It seems that you're not" Lila cackled.

"I know what you have done, Lila!" Emilie said.

"I just want to be a family again, Emilie. Everything I tried so hard to gain. To forget our mistake" Gabriel said.

"No, I never asked to be brought back. I accepted my fate but you didn't. You abandoned your title as a father to Adrien. I tried so hard to convince you to stop chasing the miraculous but you always think of me as overly dramatic. You always think you're a God but you're not!" Emilie slapped him in the face.

"AAARGH!"

"LEAVE GABRIEL! You're not part of the family!" Emilie angrily yelled.

"Oh, he will be! You just don't respect him!" Lila grabs her and takes them to a hiding place in Paris.

"Let me go!" Emilie struggled against Lila's inhuman strength.

The Duke was left alone and has no idea where they are. He had to call his stepson fast before Emilie is tortured forever by her ex-husband.

Emma and Sayuri were being chased by hellhounds that Lila sent and they couldn't find a way to kill them when they don't have salt to kill a demon being.

"Now what are we going to do?" Sayuri asked.

The two runs to hide somewhere as Emma gets an idea, "Follow my lead" Emma puts on brown contact lenses.

"Find Marinette's daughter! I want her found so I can break Marinette's spirit!" Lila demanded the hellhounds.

The hellhounds nod as *Emma appears with an uncharacteristic smug grin, "Hey bad doggies! This way!"

"There you are you brat!" Lila saw her.

"You want me Lie-la! Come get me!" *Emma ran to a different path with the hellhounds running after her.

Unknown to her, the real Emma was hiding and finished untying her hair and putting the contacts in her eyes to disguise herself as Sayuri. She had to warn her father while her cousin gets herself kidnapped but thankfully she has a tracker on herself.

"Ok, time to go!" Emma ran while Sayuri distracts the hellhounds.

Sayuri pretends to surrender herself, "Okay, Lila! I surrender! You do know that killing me will only have my father angry that he can kill you too!" Sayuri puts on her act.

"I have died before, young Agreste. And this time he will suffer if he does not arrive to see you one last time" Lila said.

"Get away from her, Mom!" Lorenzo defends Sayuri.

"So we finally meet again Lorenzo, or should I say Lyle Rossi?" Lila smirked evilly.

"I never liked that name! I'm Lorenzo and I'm not gonna let you hurt my friend Emma!" Lorenzo stands his ground.

"Just like your father that saw through my lies!" Lila glared.

"You abandoned me when I was a baby, Mom! You're the real monster!" Lorenzo said.

"If you're not with me, then you're against me!" Lila summons a cage of fire around them.

"Agh!" They both screamed as the cage soon turned into steel, trapping both.

At the same time, Emma reached to her mansion while panting heavily, startling the adults.

"Sayuri, what's going on?" Felix asked.

"Uncle, it's me, Emma!" Emma took off the contact lenses.

"Emma, what's going on out there?" Marinette asked her daughter.

"Lila is after me and Sayuri had to distract her by switching places" Emma explained.

"What?!" Adrien and Felix exclaimed.

"Yes, she wants to break your spirit, Mom" Emma said.

This made Marinette boil in anger at what Lila planned to do.
