Olivia's POV:

"Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" Allison shouts over the wind.

"I know we're near it." I shout as well. "It's just hard with the dust."

"Do you recognize anything?"

"All I see are bushes, trees," I say and see two wrestling squirrels on the tree that we were getting close to. "and two squirrels wrestling...weird."

Allison follows where I was looking and her eyes widen. "Olivia..."

"What?"

"They're not wrestling."

I squint my eyes and instantly I feel my face begin to flush with embarrassment. "Oh god."

"It's okay, Liv. As you said, it's hard to tell with the dust." She tries to assure me but I shake my head.

"You should've brought Isaac instead. He's good at this stuff! He probably would have--"

"Go right." A chilling voice echoed in my head which causes me to stop mid-sentence. "You know where to go."

"Olivia, are you okay?" Allison grabbed my shoulder with a worry-filled expression. "What's wrong?"

"Go right."

"We have to go right." I repeat and look around a couple of times, recognizing our surroundings from the last time I was here. "I know where to go."

After we push through more bushes, we finally end up finding the nemeton that was already surrounded by more dust.

"Where's the cellar?" Allison yells as she frantically looked around.

Behind the stump, I could see something sticking up from the ground and I quickly walk over to it with Allison following behind me.

I pull open the doors and a stairwell came into view. I clutch on the railing and carefully walk down first and see Allison's dad tied to the wood post.

"Somebody call for a rescue?" I shout and he looks up with a smile.

"Olivia." I turn to see my mom tied to a post as well with Melissa and Sheriff Stilinski next to her in the same condition.

I grin. "Mom." I quickly run over to her and pull her in a tight hug. "Next time, don't pull a dad and leave me."

She laughs. "I'll keep that in mind, but thank god you found us."

"Hate to ruin your reunion party," I hear the Sheriff ask which causes me to pull away. "but where's Stiles? Where's my son?"

"And Scott?" Melissa adds, a look of concern forming on her face.

"They're coming. They're on their way to help." I assure and pull out the dagger I got from my car. "Now let's get you guys out of here."

As soon as those words left my mouth, the dirt from above us starts to collapse with several rocks and old shelves to fall as well.

"We have to get out of here!" Allison yells and I quickly cut the ropes from around my mom's wrist.

I do the same with Melissa and Allison helped free the sheriff once she untied her dad.

However, the dirt continued to collapse on top and I quickly ushered Melissa and my mom to go to the stairwell.

Once Melissa took the first step, the wooden stairwell collapses from the rocks that fell from above, making it completely useless for us to go back up since it blocked the entrance.

"Well, there goes that plan." Stilinski groans in frustration. "What the hell do we do now?"

Instantly the ground continues to collapse, even more, causing the dirt to pile at our feet to the point where we all had to crouch, trying our best not to bump our heads on the wooden planks.

"We just have to wait until Stiles or--"

"Look out!" Mr. Argent dives to tackle Allison out of the way but I stay put and try to hold up the wooden planks, feeling the dirt pour all over myself.

"Olivia!" Allison cries out, seeing that I stayed in my spot.

Sheriff pulls Melissa and my mom out of the way but I keep my arms up to hold the planks from sinking with the dirt.

"Olivia get out of there!" My mom scolded.

"No! We're gonna get buried alive if I don't hold this up!" I yell but their eyes widen as they stared at me in shock.

"I knew you're supernatural, but what exactly are you?" Sheriff Stilinski asks and I look down, seeing my body glow with a mixture of orange and red. "I thought you could only heal!"

"I'm something," I shout but start to feel my arms beginning to hurt with an orange-colored light filling the room. "but I don't know how long I can keep this up! It's getting heavier!"

Sheriff Stilinski, Chris, Melissa, Allison, and my mom try to help by lifting the wooden plan but it didn't matter since it continued to sink through.

"It's too much! It's too heavy!" Allison groans out.

Instantly two people slide through the hole and one of them gracefully slides an aluminum bat underneath the beam which prevented it to continue to sink. The figures look up and I start to smile, seeing that it was Isaac and Stiles.

"I always said aluminum was better than wood." Sheriff Stilinski chuckles before Stiles pulled him into a hug.

"Took you guys long enough." I tease as Isaac crawls to my mom and I. She embraces the two of us and lets out a sigh of relief.

Unfortunately, our celebration is cut short since the dirt continued to spill down.

I glance worriedly at Allison and she turns her head to me as well. She reaches for my hand and squeezes it, holding onto it as her dad pulled her in a hug.

"Whatever happens, just know that you're officially my son." My mom says, placing a kiss on Isaac's head and then kisses my head as well. "And you're the best daughter ever." She tightly wraps both arms around us as if she was accepting this was the end.

Soon enough, the orange tint that filled our surroundings faded away, following with the storm ending soon after.

"Is it over?" Allison asks, seeing that the weather was calm once again.

"Yeah." I smile, knowing that Scott managed to stop Jennifer. "Whatever Scott did, it worked."

"Thank god." Isaac sighs in relief, leaning against my mom. "I'm exhausted."

My phone begins to vibrate in my pocket and I quickly reach to pull it out. I see that it was Scott and click to answer.

"Hey, you guys okay?"

"We're okay. We're all okay." I emphasize, looking over at everyone and see Allison and Stiles embrace their parents. "But what about you?"

It's quiet for a moment before he answers again. "Sort of."

I glance at the broken stairwell. "You think you can come to get us?"

"Bring a ladder!" Stiles shouted which earns several chuckles.

"Stiles says to bring a ladder."

Once I hang up the call, I glance down at my hand that still held Allison's and I shyly meet her eyes, seeing that she took notice of this as well.

As soon as I pull open the doors to the loft, my eyes lit up as soon as I lock eyes with Cora who was putting the metal chairs back around the table.

I sigh in relief. "You're okay." I quickly go down the stairs and she sets the chair back down to pull me into a tight embrace.

However, she pulls away with her nose scrunched. "Why do you smell like...dirt?"

"Oh, shut up. I showered twice before I got here." I scoffed which earns a smile to form on her lips. She gestures to the couch and we both walk over to sit down. "I would've come sooner to heal you but I sort of...well, died and came back to life sixteen hours later." I say and her eyes widen slightly. "But I'm okay now, I promise. I'm glad we made it on time before Jennifer ended up killing you."

"Actually...Derek gave up the powers into what made him an alpha in order to save me." She looks down at her hands. "I was okay before you guys stopped her."

"Oh." I mumble, taking notice of her look of guilt. "So does that mean he's...?"

"An omega." She finishes for me and sadly shook her head. "He sacrificed being an alpha just to save me."

"You're his sister. Hell, I probably would've done the same." I bump her shoulder. "I would sacrifice everything for the people I care about. Even if it meant trading my life for theirs."

"Oh really?" She looks up with a smile. "Even for a certain girl that can probably twirl daggers in her sleep?"

"Who, Allison?" I clear my throat. "It can't be a thing. She used to date Scott and--"

"Oh, come on. You're gonna let some teenager be in the way of someone you actually like for the first time?" She rose an eyebrow.

"Cora, you're seventeen." I say, trying to casually change the subject. "That means you're a teenager too."

"In your years, but don't change the topic. We're talking about why you're not pursuing a relationship with Allison."

"I just feel like it would be messed up if I was dating my friend's ex. Isn't there some sort of moral code about that?" I fiddle with my sleeves.

"Olivia, if Scott was still in love with her, don't you think he would've done something sooner or made it blatantly obvious he doesn't want you guys together?" She bumps my shoulder. "You like her and she likes you so what's stopping you?"

"I'm afraid, okay? I feel like I'll somehow mess it up between us. She's the first girl that I became friends with in this town and without her, I don't think I would've been involved with any of this stuff." I gesture around us. "Especially with my luck history about the people I knew and ended up losing, what if she's next?"

"Well you won't know until you do something about it, right? What if it was fate that brought you guys together?"

"Since when did you believe in fate?" I scoffed playfully.

"I believed in it once I reunited with you and my brother after so many years in a bank vault." She reaches to grab ahold of my hand. "Fate gave me some time to spend with my family and my best friend."

I furrow my eyebrows. "What do you mean some?"

"Derek wants me to go back to South America with my old pack. He thinks I'll be safer there." She squeezed my hand in comfort. "I'm leaving tomorrow."

"So...I'm losing you again." I mumbled. "Is there another way to change his mind?"

"Well there's something that you could do that'll help both of us, but mainly help you." She moves her hand away and places it on my shoulder. "You and I have been through so much in the past and I left you without even saying goodbye so here's my last bit of advice before who knows how long we'll see each other again."

"Cora--"

"You shouldn't always put someone's happiness over yours. You need to stop worrying about what Scott might think if you try to be with her." She cuts me off. "If you guys were really friends, he would be happy for you and Allison. It might be weird in the beginning but there's always someone else out there for him. He'll be okay."

I smile softly. "You think so?"

"I know so." She moves her hand away and tries to shoo me off. "Now get out of here and go confess your love to her before someone else does!"

My eyes widen. "Wait, now? It's late!"

"Who cares!" She abruptly stands up and grabs my arm to pull me up, pushing me to the door. "If she actually likes you then I doubt she would care."

"What about her dad? I-I feel like I should wait--"

"Nope. No more waiting. You're going now or else I'll personally drag you there myself." She says and smacks my back hard before shoving me out the door.

"Okay, okay! I will!" I laugh but groan at the sting from her smack. "Man, you really are a Hale."

She was about to shut the door until I stop her, causing her to furrow her eyebrows. "What?"

"Before you leave, can you at least come over in the morning for breakfast?"

"Of course." She nodded with a smile. "Now go get your girl!"
