Olivia's POV:

"If one of us finds Lydia first, text the others so we can meet up," Scott says as we walk inside the school.

Stiles shrugs. "That'll be easy considering she's in the middle of class right now."

As if on cue, the fire alarm goes off and classroom doors swing open as various students start to fill the hallways.

I narrow my eyes to him. "You were saying?"

"Just split up," Scott says and turns to the other hallway on the right.

I walk straight but up ahead I see Aiden walkout from Coach's office while buttoning up his shirt. He shuts the door behind him and proceeds to follow along with the crowd as if nothing happened.

I mean if I had to guess, Lydia is probably in there.

I push through people until I see the door was opened by an inch. Wasn't it just closed?

I peek through the hole and see Cora had Lydia's wrist in a tight grip, making my eyes widen. I push open the door which causes both girls to snap their heads toward my direction.

"Let go of her, Cora. Now." I scold, quickly shutting the door behind me.

She scoffs but then Stiles opens the other door that was from the locker room. He glares as soon as he sees Cora holding Lydia which causes the werewolf to let go, knowing that she was outnumbered.

"Was cornering Lydia really necessary?" I retort. "Before you would never do something like this."

"We're not kids anymore, Olivia." Cora crosses her arms. "I didn't need you to send a babysitter to watch me."

"Can you guys argue later? We have work to do." Stiles says and grabs Lydia's arm to drag her out of the room. "I already texted Scott that we found her."

Cora and I follow after them but she held the hardened glare.

"The only reason I sent Isaac was that I was worried about you," I mumble so only she would hear. "Especially with witnessing your brother die and then suddenly find out he's okay, the alphas threatening to kill us all, all of it."

"I'm capable of watching over myself. I can--"

"I don't want to lose you again, okay?" I interrupt and we both stop in our tracks. Lydia and Stiles enter the empty classroom, waiting for us to walk in also.

"Just get started without us. Do the keys thing first." I say and Stiles nods before closing the door.

I turn to face Cora who still had her arms crossed but dropped her glare. "Ever since the battle with the alphas, I can't help but worry the next time we face them...they'll kill you. For god's sake, they almost killed Derek and the whole time I thought it was my fault and kept thinking what if I had done things differently."

She takes a step closer to me. "Olivia calm--"

"No! I can't calm down. I know you can protect yourself but if I lost my friend again, I don't know what I'd do with myself. You leaving the first time hurt me, but the second time--"

She cups my cheeks and pulls me in a kiss, immediately shutting me up from my ramble. I was too in shock to even kiss her back, it felt really weird.

I admit the feeling of someone else kissing me felt way different compared to Allison's. Not that Cora wasn't a good kisser, it was just...not the same.

Soon enough she shyly pulls away but I blink a couple of times, trying to wrap my head around of what just happened.

"What was...you just--huh?" I pant out, feeling my face flush as she tucks a couple of strands of my hair behind her ear.

"I had to shut you up somehow." She raises her shoulders and I nod, not knowing what else to say.

Stiles opens the doors again but this time, he had a look of frustration. "The keys didn't work so I need your guys' help on this one." He says, gesturing for us to come inside.

Cora and I quickly follow behind Stiles, pulling out the stools that were nearby Lydia who had been picking at her nails.

She notices the ouija board in his hand and gives him a pointed look. "A ouija board?"

I pinch the bridge of my nose. "Stiles, I'm not in the mood to summon a demon with the ouija board."

"It's called a spirit board." He corrects and takes the board out of the box, placing it in front of us. "It's worth a shot."

"A shot in the dark." She mutters.

"Would you just try it, please? Let's not forget who this is for. Scott's boss, the guy who saved our collective asses on more than one occasion." He says and places the triangle piece in the middle.

"Do we all do this?" Cora asks and I nod, which causes her to roll her eyes. "Great."

We placed our fingers on top of the triangle piece and Stiles looks at us. "You guys ready?" He asks but I roll my eyes at his question.

"Let's get this over with," I mumble.

"Where's Dr. Deaton?" Stiles speaks up.

We wait for Lydia to say something but she simply just stared at our hands in the middle. I glance at Cora and Stiles, confused as to why Lydia hasn't said or done anything yet until I look at the strawberry blonde again.

She finally takes notice of our stares and furrows her eyebrows. "What?"

"Aren't you going to answer it?" Stiles asked the girl who sat beside him.

"Oh, I don't know the answer. I thought we were asking some sort of spirit." Lydia responds.

"Well, do you know any spirits?" Cora asks.

Lydia momentarily gives her a pointed look before turning to Stiles and I. "Is she for real?" She points to Cora.

We pull our hands away from the board and Stiles moves it to the side. He grabs a piece of paper from the desk next to him and places it in front of her.

He holds a pencil in front of her. "Automatic writing." He says and she furrows her eyes questioningly.

"Automatic--"

"Just take the damn pencil!" He raises his voice and she takes the pencil from his hand, rolling her eyes as she did so.

She immediately started drawing but I could tell Stiles was getting frustrated by the minute. "Lydia, what are you doing? What the hell is that?"

"A tree." She simply responds and I rest my head on my hand, close to giving up on the girl. I glance at Cora and could see she was already annoyed.

"A tree? Lydia, you're supposed to be writing words, like in sentences, something like a location, something that would tell us where he is." Stiles rants to her.

"Well, maybe you should have said that," Lydia says, looking up from the paper.

"Isn't she supposed to be some kind of genius?" Cora retorts.

She glares at Cora. "Genius, yes." Lydia looks to Stiles and I. "Psychic, no." She continues to finish drawing her tree. "Honestly, I don't know why you're bothering with me anyway. I mean, especially since it's obvious that you should be talking to Danny."

"What does Danny have to do with this?" I question.

"Because," We look up to see Scott clutching on his left shoulder. "last night he was a target. But it wasn't a sacrifice."

The bell rings, signaling that it was the end of the school day.

"So all we have to do is find him," Stiles says as we pack up our stuff and exit the classroom.

"But isn't Danny still in the hospital?" Cora asks.

I feel my phone buzz and I pull it out of my pocket, seeing it was from Allison.

Alli🏹

I think I found something. come over.
{3:15 p.m}

"Yeah, that's where we're going right now," Stiles responds.

"I'll meet you guys there," I say, pulling my keys out from my pocket.

"Why?" Scott asks and I show them Allison's text. "Okay, just text us if it's important."

The elevator doors to the apartment floor opened and I quickly walk over to their apartment door. I knock on it a couple of times and the door swings open, revealing it to be Allison.

"Great, you're here." She says and ushers for me to come in.

I shut the door behind me and follow her to her Dad's office. She opens the door and shuts it behind us, showing the small UV light in her hands.

"So I was looking through one of his drawers and I found this." She starts off as we walk towards his desk. An elevator door rings, causing both of us to freeze. "He wasn't supposed to be back yet."

"Is it too late to go back to your room and act like we're studying?" I whisper, worriedly glancing at the door and back to her.

"He'll hear us if we open the door." She says and grabs my hand to drag me into his closet.

She steps inside with me and quietly shuts the door, the front of her body coming close to me as my back hit the clothes that hung in his closet.

Of course Argent had to get the smallest closet I've ever seen. I had to force my arms in front of me.

I let out a shaky breath, but she presses her finger to my lips, making me stay quiet. As she tried to peek through the small gaps from the door, my mind was racing.

Were we going to find Deaton on time? How long did he have before he became the next sacrifice? If we end up saving him, was I next?

"What are you doing?" She whispers, breaking me from my thoughts.

I narrow my eyes. "Nothing."

"Your hand is doing something." She says and my eyes went down, seeing that my left hand was pressed against her thigh.

Oh my god, now would be a good time for the Darach to take me.

I feel my cheeks begin to flush. "I-I'm so--" She shushes me.

"I'll just turn around." She whispers and turns to face the door, her butt now close to my hands.

"Allison," I whisper and she turns her head slightly.

"Yeah?"

I hold back a laugh. "I can't exactly move my hands."

She covers her mouth since she lets out a snort, slowly turning to face me again with a small smile, her lips practically close to mine that was basically dying to kiss her again.

She takes notice of this and moves her head a bit upwards, her nose brushing against mine. I nervously gulp at the action, glancing between her eyes and lips.

Don't get me wrong, I did want to kiss her, but,

I just couldn't.

Ever since the whole manipulation incident with the Darach, everyone's words were practically engraved in my head.

I can't be with Allison. I can't do that to Scott.

Before, I would immediately jump at the chance to be with her, but now I know I would feel horrible at the fact I might date one of my friend's exes. How was I supposed to know if that was how Scott actually felt?

I take a step back but I guess Allison was a little too close since the next thing I knew, we both stumble against the clothes behind me.

I held her Allison close, afraid of the fact that Argent might have heard us. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up finding us inside.

The door to the room we were in opens and footsteps walk close by us. I held my breath in, hearing small shuffles of him most likely looking for something in his drawers.

A couple of seconds later, we hear a door open and close again with the sounds of his footsteps fading as he walked away.

Allison slowly opens the door and cautiously steps out, gesturing for me to come out to show that it was safe.

I shut the closet door. "Didn't expect to hide in a closet again." I try to joke but Allison gives me a look. "Sorry, couldn't let that joke go to waste."

I walk over to the table and she gestures to the map in front of her. "Last time we were in here talking, my dad put a book over the map. There was something about the way he did it."

"Like he was trying to cover it," I say and she nods. "But I don't see anything."

"Yeah, you can't." She says and holds up the UV light. "Until you use this."

She turns on the device and hovers it over the map, revealing some spots that Argent marked on the map.

"Holy shit," I whisper which causes her to chuckle.

"He's been tracking and marking everything. Cora and Boyd at the bank," She places the light over the Beacon Hills First National spot then moves it to where her apartment was. "the alphas in the penthouse above us," She continues moving the light around to show more marks. "all of the dead bodies."

"What's the difference between the symbols?"

"One is a symbol for 'someone is taken' and a different mark for where the bodies are found." She says pointing to the circles and the boxed x's. "Now here's the scary part. There have been six sacrifices, right?"

I nod. "Yeah, why?"

She looks up at me. "There are twelve markings on the map." She moves the light to more of the spots marked, causing my eyes to widen.

"Does that mean he knows where the bodies are going to be found?"

"That's what I think. One of these locations is where Deaton could end up. It doesn't tell us where he's being kept right now but--"

I quickly pull out my phone. "It's close to figuring it out," I say and open the camera app. "I'll send this to Scott." I take the picture of the map and quickly send it straight to Scott.

The elevator bells ring, causing Allison and I to look up.

"My room. Now." Allison says, quickly shutting off the light and ushering me out of the room. She quietly closes the door behind us and we go straight to her room.

She shuts it as soon as I go inside and she kicks off her shoes. "We need to make sure he has a reason to kick you out so he doesn't invite you to stay." She says and drags me to sit on her bed.

"What do you--" She pushes me to lay down then straddles my waist. "okaaay."

"Liv, stop being so tense," She grabs my hands and places them on her hips. "or else he won't buy it."

"How can I not be? A warning would've been nice, you know?" I whisper and she rests her hands on my stomach, making my heart leap. "Can't we just pretend we're studying?"

She was about to respond but her door swings open, Argent's expression changing from confused then to shock. "I-I--"

"Oh god," Allison stammered as she gets off of me. "We were just studying a-and--"

"Olivia, I think it's best if you go home." Argent sternly says and crosses his arms. "Now."

"I-It's not—" I awkwardly try to explain but I knew it was practically hopeless. "I'll just go." I quickly walk pass Argent but turn to see Allison once I'm in the hallway.

The corner of her mouth twitched as if she was trying to hold back a smile but then continued to listen to her father's scolds.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to kill me at this point.
