In their cozy living room, Dev sat with his son Aryan, both of them engrossed in a serious, yet argument. Aryan, with his wide eyes and infectious grin, looked up at his father with a mischievous sparkle.
"Dada, I love Mumma more than anything!" Aryan declared proudly, his tiny fists clenched in determination.
Dev chuckled softly, feigning surprise. "Accha? That's funny, because I love Mom more than anyone in the whole world!"
Aryan's brow furrowed in mock indignation. "No way, Dada! I love her more because I give her the biggest hugs!"
Dev leaned in conspiratorially. "But I cook her favorite breakfast every morning!"
Aryan gasped dramatically. "I draw her beautiful pictures every day!"
"Well, I tell her the best bedtime stories every night!" Dev countered with a grin.
Aryan pondered for a moment, his little face scrunched in deep thought. Finally, he looked up at Dev with a sly grin. "Okay, Dada, you win this time. But only because you're older and have more practice!"
Dev laughed heartily, scooping Aryan into a big bear hug. "Accha, cutie. You're a tough competitor, buddy! But you know what? Mumma loves both of us more than anything in the world."
With a shared smile, father and son continued their playful banter, their bond strengthened by their mutual adoration for Avi, the heart of their home.
*****
Very short chapter, but the last one for this story. Thank for to everybody who has been with me from the starting of the book.
This was to anyone who has ever made a bad decision because of a broken heart.
And I'm sorry if I've committed any mistakes, this is the first book I've ever written. So I don't know how it was. But thank you to each one of you readers. You guys don't know how much this means to me. Also, wasn't planning to properly end this book with an epilogue, but India won the world cup, so just felt it. Lot's of happiness to all of you.
