     THE SANCTORUM SYNDICATE— a group of unique symbols operating in the most crowded city of CANTONICA. Their commander, WRATH was granted a chance to establish a reputation in the merciless world, where once they were a laughingstock, now known to be one of the most vicious individuals in the galaxy. One thing everyone can agree upon is how they know not to stop at anything until they get what deserved. Whether it was retribution, honor, gratification...

When the news spread that the Commander brought home a new contender, they became untouchable, as rumor has it he had just given one of the dangerous soldiers in the galaxy a new home.

A SADIST — AN EMPEROR'S HAND; her reputation matched her every intentions. A breathing beguilement to the very nature of brutality where it was easier to convince that death was the kinder latter. She was a result of a grotesque rebirth; once a child in the midst of war, now a great irony for what used to mother her.

     Notably a mind of unspeakable maze, she flourished within her ranks and pleased the Emperor with her way of savegery. Rest assured, she began to spend her fate liviving to serve and fulfill the goals of her master. (You must destoy and only destroy. I declare you as my Hand.)

Yet following the fall of His grace, her trail ran cold. A fallen remnant of the Death Star. The once-Emperor's Hand began to exist with no purpose, and had not the mercy of the Commander bestowed upon her, her legacy would have been lost forever.

    The dark path that was promised to her had been suddenly engulfed by a much larger disguise for redemption, unintentionally freeing child that had been caged for so long. The same child thrown in an adult war and forced to survive, now healing at her grasp.

Years later, she begins to travel with her regained identity at hand, inevitably crossing paths with a renowned bounty hunter who may know a thing or two about the redemption she longed for, only to realize the two of them were cut from the same burning cloth.

my rambling era,

✹  i stare at my old drafts everyday and still fight god whether or not i should actually fucking publish them because i swear it should never see the light of fucking day

✹ starting off with a disclaimer, STAR WARS and THE MANDALORIAN SERIES do not belong to me. my only claim present in this fic are the subplots and the original characters, namely saera fess, kaz vizsla, genova madaki, wrath, al'ia, ghafa arden, evan vrataski, and the unnamed character who we envisioned to be portrayed by bella ramsey. the rest: the series plots, canon characters and developments are owned by LUCASFILM and JON FAVREAU.

✹ the timeline begins in season one, with quite a few flashbacks that would take place in between. i realized i big brain (lmao) better with established relationships while also attempting to explain how this relationship was established to begin with so it doesn't feel out-of-character for the canon characters. it's a lot easier, trying to work smarter than harder these days dnfjrkfk i'm only a good writer where it counts. i may also seperate each seasons by acts along with the short act "zero" that takes place in the beginning i don't ... don't know, we'll see.

✹  from emily blunt, to sophie di martino, to ANNA TORV (my love my queen my life i need you back on tv ma'am), (re) introducing saera fess! <3 i've had saera since 2019 and only ever bothered to write her out in a fic a few months after that...she's been rewritten too many goddamn times now it's actually kind of annoying... (from being a skywalker to a kenobi and i just rmfmrkgkrl who told me to do that?? and i also could have SWORN i never intended to write her with din djarin in her early development. if anything she was more coded to be with han solo at the time.) i've also been rewatching one of anna torv's shows, so that's been kind of helpful. my girl's redhair era, i want her to eat me dead or alive.

✹  (honest to god don't know how to say her name... like it used to be just 'sara' before i decided to add an (pretty useless) e in the middle. i DO think it sounds a lot like how you'd say zara (i say it like zuh-ruh idk about you jfjfkr). now with the 'e' in the middle it most likely sound like 'se-ra'... i don't know fnfnktgk it's the reader's discretion at this point. she'd also go by 'sar' a lot hehfnfj i've grown pretty attached it and it's also quite a homage to one of my closest friends' names YOUKNOWWHOYOUARE so there's that.)

✹  i used to want to keep saera's bloodline a secret... like the big reveal would essentially be within the future chapters. but screw it, yes, my little war criminal is a kryze! satine and obi-wan's accident fr rlgkkekfkr. (i also just know if maul didn't kill her, saera for sure would smfnfjfkke.) so yeah, the story goes on with how she tries to remembers all of that and how her decisions would have to matter in the third season... iykyk lmaooo

✹ there are not many words to describe the relationship that is dinsar, but i guess... to summarize??? it's legit mentally ill gf / morally struggling bf i can't defend this shit

✹  SUBPLOTS. MAINLY CANTONICA. i loved thinking about this subplot and the characters for a solid minute. while making saera a mercenary felt a little too... overused... forthelackofbetterword... for the sci-fi / star wars genre because lowkey she's not even at the top of the list, but it also still felt! so! right!? she knows nothing but violence, so where else would you put that to good use HAHAHAH. the sanctorum arc is also loosely based from six of crows (teehee) and i'm currently taking bets on who think got matthias' arc 🙃 aNsndndndmmd.

this also goes by saying the cantonica subplot and the untouchables are mine. tiberius ba'ar is owned by almanqalorian who also owns my heart, mind, and soul at this point. parading my girlfriend like it's the only personality trait i have at this point #ownershipkink
