Gotham High School is a remarkable institution located in Miagani Island. With a rich history of academic excellence, this high school is renowned for its strong athletics program and cutting-edge science and technology course and many more. Despite the challenges faced by the city, Gotham High School stands as a symbol of resilience and progress.

The time was three thirty five p.m, School day was over as Jennifer, Sabrina and Aaron were walking through the hallways as they were cracking some jokes and began laughing as they continued speaking to each other.

Sabrina: [Laughs] I can't believe we got away with that prank.

Jennifer: [Laughs] The way Mr Parker started yelling when he wanted to know who placed the bucket on top of the door. That was hilarious.

Aaron: [Smiles] Well he's not gonna find out. So that's a win for us.

Sabrina: Definitely. Also Jennifer, I forgot to ask. Did you get your phone back?

Jennifer: Yeah, I got it back.

Aaron: So is he still angry at us for breaking into his house?

Jennifer: No, he's not.

Sabrina: So who is he?

Jennifer: I have no idea but Aaron knows who he is.

Aaron: Yeah, his name-

Suddenly a water balloon was thrown on Jennifer as Sabrina and Aaron were shocked while Morgan closed her eyes in anger. Laughter was heard as they all turned around and saw who it was.

Tiffany Stratton is her name. She is seventeen years old and is a rude, egotistical and manipulative student. Stratton is jealous at Jennifer because all the attention goes to her and Morgan even aces on her studies and sports to which Tiffany wanted to humiliate her and make sure all the attention goes to Stratton and her friends.

Mariah May is her name. She is seventeen years old and is Tiffany's best friend. She also help her friends in humiliating Jennifer and her friends.

Chelsea Green is her name. She is seventeen years old and is Tiffany's best friend. She also helps her friends in humiliating Jennifer and her friends.

Tiffany, Mariah and Chelsea were laughing at Jennifer as Morgan glared at them until Stratton said something to her.

Tiffany: Awww, what happened, loser? Gonna cry?

Mariah: If you want all of this to end then I suggest you back out from the upcoming wrestling tournament.

Chelsea: If you don't. Well more fun for us then.

Jennifer closed her fist in anger as she glared at Tiffany who was smiling at her as Sabrina and Aaron were telling Stratton to leave them alone.

Tiffany: Let me tell you something loser. There is a way better tournament you can qualify for and that's being the biggest loser in Gotham City. [Laughs]

Jennifer gritted her teeth in anger and wanted to attack her but Sabrina grabbed her hand and Aaron told them to walk away. Soon Morgan, Carpenter and Taylor were walking away as Tiffany and her friends were laughing at them until Stratton said something to Jennifer.

Tiffany: [Laughs] Yeah, Jennifer. Walk away, just like how Lexi's husband left and-

Jennifer's blood was boiling with anger when she heard that as she grabbed Tiffany by the hair and slapped her two times before Morgan tackled her and began attacking Tiffany as everyone was shocked and tried to stop the fight that was happening.

Soon the principal arrived and saw Jennifer and Tiffany shouting at each other until the principal told both of them to go to the office and that he will speak to them.

Five minutes later

Principal: This is very serious, Morgan.

Jennifer: So I'm the only one in trouble!? Not Tiffany!?

Principal: She's also in trouble. But I can't believe this. I warned you multiple times to not get into fights. This is your fifth fight in two weeks.

Jennifer was silent and stared at the principal as he continued speaking to her.

Principal: Jennifer. Your an amazing student and you have a bright future but if you continue this, I will have no choice but to expel you.

Jennifer was silent and looked at the table as he said something to her.

Principal: This is your final warning. You stay away from Tiffany and I'll warn Stratton to stay away from you. I want both of you to focus on your studies and the upcoming tournament. One more fight Jennifer, you will be expelled. The same goes to Tiffany.

Jennifer nodded as the principal told her that she can go now as Morgan left the office. Sabrina and Aaron ran towards her and tried to speak to her but Morgan ignored them and immediately left the school as she began walking through the streets.

Meanwhile at Eclipse Restaurant, Alex was looking at the financial records and fixed his hair while he continued looking at the records. Today was a quiet day and there weren't many customers coming to the restaurant.

Alex continued looking at the records until he saw the waiters and waitresses watching the news report on the television as he was watching the news report.

Harvey: I can't express enough gratitude to my plastic surgeon, Doctor Herbert Willing and my psychiatrist, Doctor Bartholomew Wolper. I don't expect the people of Gotham City to forgive my crimes overnight. But I only ask that they give me a second chance.

Harvey pulled out a coin out of his pocket and showed it to the media as the reporter began speaking.

Reporter: Those were Harvey Dent's last words before he disappeared. The one time district attorney later known as Two Face immediately evaded supervision after he was released from Arkham State Hospital.

Alex heard the doors of the restaurant being opened as he saw who it was.

Alex recognised her, It was Jennifer. Ambrose noticed Morgan was upset and quiet as she sat down by the chair and looked around the restaurant.

The waitress smiled at Jennifer and asked what she wanted to order but Morgan ignored her and continued staring at the wall as the waitress asked her again but once again she didn't responded to her.

Alex was staring at them as he got up from his seat and walked towards Jennifer as Morgan looked at him and recognised him, however she remained silent and looked away.

Ambrose noticed a scratch in her hand and knew Morgan was in a fight as he said something to her.

Alex: I guess you really are a troublemaker. First you and your friend break into my house and now you got into a fight.

Jennifer: Hey! F*** you! Leave me alone!

The whole room went silent and Alex saw a few tears falling from Jennifer's eyes as she immediately wiped it off and wanted to leave until Ambrose said something to her.

Alex: Order what you want and don't worry, you don't need to pay for it.

Jennifer was shocked when Alex said that as she stared at him. She wanted to tell him that she didn't wanted to order anything but the waitress told her that it was okay and she can order anything she wants.

Jennifer nodded and looked at the menu as she ordered some food and the waitress wrote the order on the notepad and walked away until Alex said something to the waitress.

Alex: Let her eat some ice cream too.

The waitress nodded and began walking away as Jennifer was staring at Ambrose and felt bad for snapping at him. She wanted to get up and speak to him but the doors of the restaurant were opened as Morgan saw who it was.

The principal contacted Lexi about the fight and she immediately went to the High school to speak to Jennifer but she was gone and Kaufman looked for her for sometime until she found her at the restaurant.

Lexi was staring at Jennifer as Morgan had more tears falling from her eyes as Kaufman hugged her and Jennifer was crying while Lexi continued hugging her.

Alex was staring at them and remembered a time when his sister Mia hugging him when he was crying. He continued staring at them as Lexi and Jennifer took a seat and began speaking.

Jennifer told Lexi about everything that has happened as Kaufman was shocked and upset.

Lexi: Why did you run away? You could have talked to me about it.

Jennifer: [Cries]. . . . . . I was scared. . . . . . That. . . . You'll get upset at me and that I broke your promise. . . . . That's why I ran away.

Lexi looked at her and hugged her as Jennifer continued crying on her shoulder. Ambrose was staring at them as he gave them two glasses of water. Lexi gave Morgan a glass and she began drinking the water and she said something to her.

Lexi: I'm not angry at you, Jennifer. I love you sis and I'm always there for you till the end.

Jennifer looked at her and had a small smile on her face as she hugged her sister again and Lexi hugged her back. Soon the waitress placed the meal on the table as Kaufman said something.

Lexi: Sorry but-

The waitress smiled and told them that the meal is free and they didn't need to pay for it. Lexi noticed Alex sitting by the table and looked at the financial records as she had a small smile on her face.

Soon Jennifer began eating the meal as Lexi was also eating the meal while drinking some coffee until she noticed Alex still working on the records until she got up from her seat and walked towards him as she said something.

Lexi: You can do that later. Right now, you need to rest up.

Alex stared at her as Lexi smiled at him until he put the records away and Kaufman was gonna drink some coffee until she saw the cup was empty.

Lexi: Awww, I want more coffee.

Alex looked at her and got up as he got some coffee from kitchen and gave it to her as she smiled at him and said something.

Lexi: [Smiles] Thank you.

Lexi: [Smiles] What's your name?

Alex:. . . . . Jim.

Lexi looked at him and knew he was lying as she said something to him.

Lexi: Well Jim, your a terrible liar.

Alex looked at her as Jennifer was smiling at them until Lexi said something to him.

Lexi: I'm kidding but you didn't need to do all this for us.

Alex:. . . . . Your sister looked like she had a rough day, that's why I gave her a free meal.

Lexi: [Smiles] That's sweet of you, Jim.

Alex looked at her as Lexi smiled at him and Ambrose asked her if she and Morgan want anything else but they told him, they didn't needed anything else. Soon Jennifer and Kaufman were done with their meals as Morgan got up from her seat and walked towards Alex as she said something to him.

Jennifer:. . . . I'm sorry Jim. I didn't mean to snap at you like that.

Alex: It's okay. . . . Take care and stay safe, you two.

Lexi: You too Jim.

Alex looked at her and nodded as Jennifer and Lexi left the restaurant. However Kaufman was staring at him through the window and began thinking about him. She continued staring at him until Jennifer said something to her.

Jennifer: What's the matter sis?

Lexi: Oh. . . . . Nothing. Come on, let's go back home.

Jennifer nodded but knew Lexi was thinking about something and both of them continued walking away as Kaufman continued thinking about Ambrose.

Few hours later

It was eight fifty p.m as Alex closed down the restaurant and began walking back to the Manor as it was snowing and Ambrose was looking at the snow before he continued moving forward.

Alex walked through a alleyway and continued moving forward until he noticed a newspaper on the ground and he saw what was written.

Family murdered and house burnt down, Mutants Suspected.

Alex saw the picture of the burning house as his eyes were widen in shock and continued staring at it as he saw a vision of a burning house and heard loud screams coming from the house.

Alex closed his eyes in anger until he heard footsteps as Ambrose opened his eyes and turned around as he saw two mutants walking towards him while holding switchblades as they had a sadistic smile on their faces and said something.

Mutant: Ace! He sees us!

Mutant: Don't fool around. Go around, behind him!

Mutant: [Smiles] Slice and dice. Show him, we're ruthless!

Alex gritted his teeth in anger and closed his fists as one mutant noticed it and felt scared as he said something.

Mutant: Oh geez. . . . . . He's into it.

Mutant: So what!? Slice and dice!

Alex stared at them as the mutant was scared and said something.

Mutant: No! Can't do it when they're into it. Come on, let's go to the arcade.

The mutant nodded and soon the duo walked away as Alex was staring at them before he sighed to himself and continued walking towards the Manor.

One hour later, Alex made it to the Manor and continued moving forward until he noticed the lights in the living room were opened as he was staring at it.

Suddenly he saw a shadow in the living room as Ambrose was shocked and immediately grabbed a hatchet as he began slowly making his way towards the back door.

Alex entered the Manor from the backdoor as he slowly walked towards the living room while holding the hatchet in his hands as he saw someone looking through the drawers until Alex said something.

Alex: What are you doing? . . . . . . .

The women immediately turned around and saw Alex standing in front of her as she said something.

????: Are you Alex Ambrose?

Tay Conti is her name. She is thirty five years old and is Anna's best friend and sister. Eleven years ago, she moved out of Gotham to stay in Metropolis and three months later, she heard Anna passed away and her boyfriend Alex Ambrose disappeared.

Alex stared at her as Tay continued speaking to him.

Tay: It's me, Tay Conti. Anna's best friend.

Alex: [Eyes Widen]. . . . . . . . .

He was gonna say something until Anna stepped in front of him and he stepped back and stared at her until she said something.

Anna: You can't! Everyone close to you dies! That's why we're here!

Tay was staring at Alex until he said something to him.

Alex:. . . . I don't know who your talking about.

Tay: What? . . . . . . But Eleven years ago, Anna sent me a picture of you and her at the amusement park. . . .

Alex: Just have one of those faces, I guess.

Tay was annoyed when Alex said that as she stared at him before she said something to him.

Tay: So it's okay if I just leave!? Is that what you want!?

Anna: Mia. . . . . Steven. . . . . Laura. . . . . Harvey. . . . . Colby. . . . William. . . . . . Me. . . .

Alex was staring at Anna before he looked at Tay until Ambrose said something.

Alex: I'm sorry. I'm not who your looking for. . . . . .

Tay looked at him and Alex felt sad as Conti nodded and began walking away until he said something to her.

Alex:. . . . . . I suggest you leave Gotham. . . . The city is out of control.

Tay looked at him and continued walking away as she left the manor. Ambrose looked at the window and saw Tay getting inside the car and drove away as Ambrose felt sad.

Alex continued looking outside as a tear fell from his eye as he closed his eyes until Anna hugged him.

Anna: It's okay Alex. . . . . Its okay. . . . You did the right thing. . . . . .

Alex wanted to hold Anna's hand but she was gone as Ambrose wiped the tears off his eyes and noticed Lizzie staring at him and felt sad as he patted her head and both of them sat on the couch and continued staring at the window as snow continued to fall.

November 11 2031 [The Next Day]

Alex was asleep in the couch until he heard a knock on the door as he woke up and looked at the time as it was eight fifteen a.m. Another knock was heard as Ambrose immediately got up and began making his way towards the door.

Alex made it to the main door as he opened the door and saw who it was.

Lexi: [Smiles] Good morning!

Alex was staring at Lexi who was smiling at him as he noticed she had some coffee and a box of cupcakes in hands as she gave it to him.

Lexi: Thanks for the meal, yesterday. I thought I'll give you some coffee and a box of cupcakes for you.

She heard her phone ringing as Kaufman said something to him.

Lexi: Sorry work is calling. Hope your day goes well, Jim. Take care.

She smiled at him and walked away as Alex was staring at her before he looked at the coffee and box of cupcakes as he closed the door and sat down on the couch while looking at the box and coffee.
