"I gave you a choice Sandra." I said as I shook my head.
In front of me was a weak, sweaty, absurdly thin, and sick-looking Sandra, coughing up blood into a bucket. Luckily she was in one of the guest rooms, so she wasn't getting her disgusting germs all over my bed.
She glared at me with her now dead and beady eyes. Her skin was pale and her hair was more dead than me.
"I believed you at first, but then I realized you couldn't do much to me." she answered in a really raspy voice.
"But now you realize that I could do a shit-ton to you?" I shot back.
The living corpse rolled her eyes before coughing again.
"At least Nico is paying more attention to me than ever."
This bitch..
"You really are that desperate and crazy." I mumble to myself. "It's because you're literally fucking dying, you crazy dumbass! What do you not get? These are your last days of existing!" I retaliated.
"I'm giving one last chance Sandra. It's too late to let you live, but I can take some of the pain away, if you just confess." I said, trying to help her out somewhat.
"Why would I? If you even come back, which you won't, Nico's going to hate you. In his mind, you abandoned him and your daughter. My work here is done."
I shook my head again. "That's where you're wrong Sandra. I always come back."
She raised one of her eyebrows, "What do you mean?"
"Remember in high school, where we went to that waterfall for spring break? I slipped and fell. To my death. My neck snapped and some of my bones were broken. I was able to come back after a few hours."
Sandra's eyes widened as I told her the story of my 6-hour disappearance.
"Or the time you had heard I got hit by a truck and my mom had told you that I couldn't talk to you. I had died back then." I added.
"You're lying..."
"Nope. Or Remember Shaun? Debate club Shaun? He attempted to sexually assault me, but I was able to defend myself for a short time, until he stabbed me a few times. After that, I tormented him as he slowly faded away."
Sandra's eyes widened, "So..he didn't die of cancer?"
I shook my head again. "He died of me. The same way you'll die, if you don't confess." I said in a threatening voice.
"I..I...Nico! Nico!" She raspily called out.
I smiled as Nico hurriedly came running through the door, with Imani in one of his arms.
"What is it?" he asked in a concerned voice.
Sandra tried to steady her breathing. "I have something I need to confess."
He looked confused but still worried. "And...?"
"Nikki didn't run away...I killed her..."
