"Stay" that one word makes Ariel uncomfortable

When she does not say anything but just keeps shuffling on her feet, Dante walks in front of her.

"Devilin, would not like it if we leave her here, Ad. He may accuse me of throwing her out as soon as he left her side" He explains saving Ariel of saying anything

"I'm sure he won't mind if she stays for a few days. I mean you don't have any problem right Ariel?" Scar asks staring at her daughter with hope

"Mom..." she gulps not knowing what to say to her

"It's just few days" Scar adds almost pleadingly

"I guess" Ariel finally gives in with a small smile

"That's so great, don't worry we won't crowd on you and you will not regret your stay" Scar beams bouncing in her feet before Adrian pulls her back to his chest

"So, nothing we say will make you to stay I guess" Ad states as he watches his friend

"I wish we could, but after the conference we had I need to look into many things. We will catch up later once your son's mating I hope this time succeeds" Dante replies as he pats on Ad's shoulder and walks away with his mate while his daughter stays in the pack with Ariel.

"Okay, ladies I have to go back to my work. I hope you all enjoy the day" Ad announces as he leaves them to mingle.

"Let's go, we have so much to do before the ceremony starts" Scar beams as the girls follow her around

"Where do you think you are going?" Advin groans as he pulls his mate close to him as he buries his face in her neck

"I can't stay in the bed whole day; there are lots of things to do before the ceremony. Come on let me go" she pushes his hands away only for him to tighten them

"Just a few more minutes" he grumbles not letting her go

"Your few minutes has already turned in to an hour, I will just go and check on what's going please and I'm sure up to now the whole house hold must have woken and buzzed up" she smiles ruffling his hair lovingly

"Okay, go just be back as soon as you can I was planning to laze in bed with you" he finally let her go

"No promises" she whispers lending a soft kiss on his forehead

"Love you" he smiles pushing his face up so she can kiss on his lips

"Love you too" she giggles pecking him lightly on the lips before leaving him

"Oops" Jasmine giggles as she crashes in to someone

"Sorry" Engel apologizes to Jasmine as they bump into each other

"I'm sorry too. Anyway, hi, I'm Jasmine" she smiles at the girl in front of her who nods in acknowledgement

"I know you are Advin's mate saw you at dinner last time. I'm Engel" she nods before going to walk away but stops

"Uh, I'm kind of lost in the house so can you help me?" she requests making Jasmine smile

"Sure, where were you heading to?" she asks as she walks with Engel

"To breakfast, actually" she informs as they head towards the dining hall

They both end up having breakfast together as Scar, Ariel and Jane join them. They all keep to small talk about the preparation for the day as well as start to make a list of what is important.

As Advin's first mating was a disaster most of the guests left that is why they will not have any outsiders for the mating but just the people in the pack and them.

Even if the party tonight was as if any party held in the pack, Scar wanted to make sure everything goes well as this day does not occur again, where the two of her precious people will start a new life together.

"Before I totally forget, here" Scar passes a list to Jasmine surprising her

The girls will keep you company" Scar informs as she gets out of her seat before pecking Jasmine's cheek as she leaves

"Wow, that's so cool of her. I really needed a day out anyway" Jane grins as she reads the list Scar gave which includes a black credit card as well as things for them to do from going to the spa to shopping

"I guess I will let you guys enjoy the day" Engel states standing up but Jane stops her

"Come on Engel you hardly join us when we do anything, this will be great don't you think? With no male company, this will be awesome" Jane points out looking at each of them before they hesitantly, agree to it

Jasmine along with Ariel, Jane and Engel happily walks around the town enjoying there girls outing.

Shopping to their heart content, they finally stop to eat at one of the restaurants where they discuss what they each got for themselves enjoying their food. After a wonderful lunch, they all stop by at the spa.

"So, how are you feeling now that you will get to enjoy the perks of sex" Jane questions as they sit together for their manicure

"Jane" Ariel scolds the girl who just rolls her eyes

"Just because you are a prude does not me I must be too" she states before once again focusing on Jasmine who says nothing but blushes

The girls enjoy as they closes their eyes while some girl massages their body. They silently enjoy their peace before Engel looks to find that Ariel was not back ye.

"Hey, isn't Ariel back yet?" she points out making both the other girls open their eyes and look

"She is not yet it seems, it's been a while" Jane voices before getting up from her seat and pulling her rob on as she rushes over to the bathroom worried for Ariel

If anything happens to her Devilin will skin her alive, opening the bathroom door she checks inside calling Ariel's name. When she gets no answer, she looks inside all stalls to find them empty.

"Fuck" she curses before rushing out of the bathroom

"Hey what happened?" Engel asks seeing a worried Jane

"She isn't in the bathroom" she informs them before they all walk out to see someone trying to push Ariel into a black car

"Fucktard" she shouts before running towards the car only for it to drive off

"Call dad or anyone and inform them what is happening" she orders the girls before she runs at her full speed to catch the car in her robe

"Oh god" Jasmine gasps as she dials some number only for the phone to be pushed away from her hands

"Hello girls" the man smiles making them scream

Both the girls shout for help but when they turn around they find the whole street deserted.

"No one's here to help" the man snickers before pulling both the girls into the car

"Where are the other two?" the man inside the car asks as he helps his friend tie both the girls up, as they cannot stop screaming

"Taken care of, good thing we knew that if we took red hair first the vampire will run to her aid leaving these two vulnerable. These two cannot shift" the man laughs before getting inside the car himself.

Jane follows the car that had kidnapped Ariel worried about her safety as she knows if anything happened to Ariel she would never forgive herself as the girl was special to all of her family.

Moreover, she was not as strong as she was, and whomever dared to touch her would pay for their mistake. As soon as she notices the car on some deserted area, Jane moves forward to attack only to find the car empty with an unconscious Ariel.

"Ariel, Ariel" she pats the girl's cheek lightly and sighs in relief as she hears Ariel groan

"What happened?" Ariel asks as she sits straight on the seat

"Someone tried to kidnap you but I don't know why they left you in the car alone?" Jane fills Ariel in before helping her out of the car

"Where are others?" Ariel asks as she looks around

"Oh shit...I think I know why they left you alone. We need to hurry, here call Adrian" Jane orders as she passes her phone to Ariel while going to start the car

Both Jasmine and Engel stays quiet all through the car ride not knowing who these men were or what they wanted. They keep looking at each other time and again before focusing on their surrounding hoping that Ariel and Jane was safe as well as someone to come to their aid.

As if some one heard their prayer, the car stops abruptly.

"What the fuck?" the driver shouts as he looks in front of him

"What is it?" the man who pushed both the girl's in asks

"Someone jumped in front of the car, but I see no one now" the driver explains as he gets out of the car to check it out

The girls look at each other before they try to focus on what was happening; suddenly they hear the driver's scream alerting the other man in the car as he too gets out of the car.

Both the girls see nothing out of the car and hold their breath in anticipation when suddenly the door to their seat is jerked open startling them.

"Hello ladies" someone grins helping the girls out of their seat and untying them

"Eric" Engel shouts as she hugs the guy automatically happy to see her brother after so long

"Hey Engel, seems like you have been quiet adventurous on my absence" Eric tease his big sister as he hugs her tight before winking at Jasmine who stares at them

"So, who is this beautiful lady with you?" he asks as he let his sister go

"Eric, she is Advin's mate so throw any bad thoughts away" Engel warns her brother knowing him too well

"Hey, I only have good thoughts and anyway it is a pleasure to meet the one who holds dear Advin's heart...

I am Eric Antonio, Engel's handsome brother" he introduces himself as he take Jasmine's hand and kiss the back of it

"He is also biggest flirt you will ever meet" Engel adds with a smile making Eric roll his eyes before he points at the two men lying on the ground unconscious

"Any idea what this was about?" he asks them

"We don't know who they are. Some one kidnapped Ariel so Jane ran to save her and before we could call someone from the pack we got pushed in the car as well" Engel fills him in on it all and Eric nods

"But how did you find us?" Jasmine asks him curiously

"Oh I was on my way to the pack to join you all for the upcoming event when I got a sniff of Engel's scent...

Before I made myself known some guys were already pushing you in the car and I just followed you" Eric shrugs making Engel frown

"Gio sent you here didn't he?" she asks him knowingly

"I haven't seen that guy in ages" Eric comments and before Engel could say anything Eric groans as something hits him hard

"Son of a bitch" Jane shouts as she goes to strike again but Jasmine and Engel holds her back

"Jane no, he is my brother. He saved us" Engel shouts trying to stop the girl

"What?" Jane asks in confusion before staring at the person kneeling on the ground

"Are you okay?" Ariel asks as she watches Eric lying on the ground clutching his stomach

"Now that I see you, I am" Eric grins as he stares at Ariel

Ariel blushes as she kneels in front of him and stretches her hand for him to take, Eric just smirks at her mischievously before holding her hand and pulling her a top him.

Ariel gasps wide eyed and she falls on top of the person while he just holds her tight to him. She stares at his eyes not knowing what to do before Engel jumps into action and pulls Ariel up.

"Eric" she scolds her brother who is laid on the ground with his head resting on his arms as he watches Ariel dreamily

"We were having a moment there Engel" he informs her before he gets up and dusts off his clothes

"Hello, I am Eric Antonio and you are?" he asks Ariel as he pushes Engel away

"That's Advin's sister Ariel" Engel warns him as she pushes him a bit away from her

"Every girl is someone's sister, good thing she isn't mine" he grins as he puts his arms around Engel and winks

"Don't try anything stupid with her Eric else not just Advin but Devilin will also be coming for your hide" Engel warns him again and Eric raise a brow at Ariel's way

"Hmm" he hums before clapping his hands together

"Okay ladies, I would love to chit chat but it seems we need to hurry back to the pack house before more of these show up" he calls before he goes to check on the men

He checks in the pockets of the men to find some papers and a phone, which he puts back into his pockets.

"What are you doing?" Ariel asks as he strips the man and he just winks at her

"Fiery, do me a favor and turn around" he orders as he pulls a pocket knife before slicing the men's neck

"Are you done?" Ariel asks, as she smells a strong scent of blood

"Yes but you still can't look. Okay everyone inside the car" he orders as he is done with the full check of the car

"Eric did you just kill those men?" Engel asks as she clutches the back of his seat

"Why you want me to take them with us?" he asks sarcastically

"I am serious Eric" she groans as she hits the back of his head

"And she has become abusive as well" he grumbles as he starts the car and drives

Eric closely watches the car that crosses them; he stares at the men inside it before he looks at the rear view mirror.

"Jane" he calls out before looking at Ariel who is sitting next to him

"Fiery hold the wheels for me, please" he smiles before both Jane and Eric opens the door of the car and jumps out

"Eric" Ariel screams as she hastens to hold on the wheel as the car shifts

"Did you call for back up?" Eric asks as he stands next to Jane who watches the another car coming their way at full speed

"Yes"

Jane answers before she runs straight in the direction of the incoming car and jumps mid-air landing on the bonnet of the car smashing its windshield and throwing the man driving it out of the car

The men inside the car jump out of the car as it swivels around uncontrolled before it goes crashing into a tree.

"Just like in the movies" Eric whistles as Jane comes to stand next to him

"Whatever" she rolls her eyes

"Talk or Fuck?" Eric asks in a hurry as some men change into their wolf form while others move forward with their vampire speed

"Fucking any day" Jane roars as she slices the first vampire who reaches them

Eric smirks as he easily holds the next vampires necks and slams it into the wolf coming their way.

Jane screams as she pounces on the next wolf kicking him in the stomach as he goes and lands on the tree.

"No peeking" Eric shouts as the girls watch them fight out of their window

"Incoming" Jane shouts as she throws a wolf Eric's way and he dodges it

"The fuck Jane" Eric shouts back at her

"Stop showing off" she barks before breaking the vampire's jaw

Eric rolls his arms as he smirks at the wolf in front of him while the wolf starts to circle him

"What's up bud, you don't smell like a rogue, so want to show me which pack are you from?" Eric asks easily and the wolf growls at him

"I feel ya bro, I totally do" Eric smiles

The wolf howls as he runs towards Eric to bite him on the shoulder but Eric easily clasps his jaw with his bare hands.

"Fuck, don't you brush your teeth bud, it stinks" Eric groans as he tries to push the wolf away instead he gets hit by the wolf's paw on his chest

"Oh, ho, ho, good shot bud, but I believe in equality" Eric states in, sing song voice

Jane wipes the sweat off her temple as she keep fighting off the vampire coming her way; she looks around swiftly to find Eric busy talking with a wolf.

"What?" she grumbles forgetting about the vampire in front of him who seeing her distracted throws his talons successfully into the side of her neck

"Jane" Ariel shouts as she gets out of the car seeing her hurt and the sound of her voice startles Eric as he too watches the vampire attacking Jane

"Statue bud" Eric orders as he rushes to Ariel's side and holds her back

Jane curses as she feels the blood sip from the side of her neck and growls at the man in front of her.

"You son of a bitch" she roars before her eyes glows and the vampire turns into dust as she burns him down

"What?" Ariel gasps seeing it

"Never go near a Carlos when they bleed" Eric informs as he lets her go

"Oh Jane, you are hurt" Ariel worries as she tries to help Jane who stops her

"I will be fine Ariel but you shouldn't have gotten out of the car" she scolds Ariel who nods

"Advin" Jasmine voice makes them turn towards the pack of wolves running to their side

Jasmine gets out of the car as she rush to Advin's side and just as she is near him he shifts back and hugs her tight.

"No more girls' days out" he whispers in relief as he hugs her to him

Advin checks Jasmine to see if she is hurt and when he does not find anything, he sighs in relief again before he turns to others.

"Yo" Eric waves at Advin who narrows his eyes at him

"Eric... what" Advin stares at him dumbstruck

"Congratulations on the mating bro, but guess you are late for the party" he grins was he jogs at Advin's side

"What's going in here anyway?" Advin asks as he looks around to find some wolf's lying around and some vampire's with out heads

"Some one tried to kidnap the girls and Jane and I were playing superheroes, oh we need to take Jane to the pack house immediately she burned a vampire down" Eric points out

"I will be fine" Jane grumbles as she walks towards them

"No, you won't be if we don't look at it fast" Eric warns her as he dabs under her eyes and checks it carefully

"I thought you were going for the spa but you all look like shit" Lex snickers as he passes some clothes to the girls who giggle as they realize they are still in their robes

"You should have seen Jane when she flew and crashed the car oh and she could burn..." Jasmine comments but stops as Advin grips on her waist tightly and shakes his head

She looks around to find other wolves who are staring at them all and realizes that it was not something to talk about in front of others.

"Lex, get rid of them and meet us back on the pack ground" Advin commands as he nods at the dead wolves and vampires

"It would have been better if we had one of them alive" Advin voices as he looks at Eric who grins

"Oh I have one alive" he smiles before looking on the spot where the wolf was swaying as if drunk

"Get to work" Advin shouts and the men move on

"What did you do?" Advin whisper asks as he closes the car door after the girls get back in

"Hypnotize him. He will be back to normal as soon as he is on the pack grounds also these, I found with those men who tried to take your mate and Engel...

I do not know what this shit is but this seems bad, that wolf he is from your pack. You also need to talk to Dante, Jane cannot keep using her powers like that every time she is hurt" he warns Advin as he hands him the paper and the phone

"Wait, aren't you coming with us?" Advin asks as he takes hold of the things Eric hands him

"No, I have something I need to check on first. Keep the girls safe for me and don't say anything about me being here to my mother" he requests as he walks to meet his sister

Eric brushes Engel's hair back watching her sleeping peacefully, he drops a light kiss on her forehead before he turns to Advin

"Don't worry I will make sure she reaches her bed safely" Advin replies to the unasked question

"Yes, make sure she takes her medicine as well" Eric adds before he turns to look inside the car and smiles at Ariel

"Hey Fiery, try not get in any trouble and stay safe. There will not be someone every time you are in trouble and need help...

You are not a little helpless girl anymore" he advises and she nods

"So, ladies I will see you some other times" Eric grins as he says his good bye to them

"Eric wait" Ariel shouts as she gets out of the car and goes to stand near him

"Thank you" she smiles not knowing what else to say

"I will see you around" Eric smiles back

"When" Ariel asks in haste before she winces at her stupidity

"Here, this is my card. I will come around when you are ready" he states as he hands her his car before walking away from them

"You okay?" Advin asks as he touches his sister's arm lightly

"Yes. Who is he and why didn't I ever met him?" she asks her brother still watching Eric's back

"That's because he wasn't around much for us to meet him and you were at Devilin's place most of the time...

He is a doctor, specialist on our kind. Never around much and he is right now trying to find a cure for Engel" Advin informs his sister who nods before they get in the car and drive back to their pack in silence.

Getting back on their pack grounds Advin hurries the girl's inside the house while he carries Engel in as she has not even stirred all the way.

"What happened?" Dante asks in worry as he holds his daughter in his arms

"You girls are all okay?" Adrian asks as he pulls both Jasmine and Ariel in his arms and rubs their back soothingly

"Someone tried to kidnapped Ariel and then when Jane went to save her same thing happened to us" Jasmine explains as she shivers remembering the incident

"Good thing Eric was around and came for our rescue" Jane admits as she tries to calm her father who furiously keeps cursing

"Eric, as in my son Eric" Erika asks as she pokes her daughter cheeks who is still asleep in Advin's arms

"I see she is still breathing" she murmurs before looking at Advin's face

"You weren't supposed to know that" he smiles sheepishly to her hoping his friend was not in much trouble with his mother

"It's okay, I will pretend to understand why my only son could not even bother to come visit his one and only mother who gave birth to him when no one did" she nods before pulling out an injection from her pocket and putting hi above her daughter's chest and turning around to leave.

"Sorry, I did not know" Jane mouths as Erika leave and Advin just smiles at her in assurance before asking someone to pick the injection off from Engel's body

Advin makes sure Engel is comfortable before he leaves her inside the room she was staying in making his way towards where his father and uncle were waiting in on him.

"Did the wolf shift?" Advin asks as he finds both his father and uncle Dante staring at the cell they had kept the wolf they brought with them.

"Yes" Adrian grits out as he has his arms fold to his chest not knowing what he was upset about

"What is it?" he asks as he gets a closer look in the cell to growl at the man inside the cell

"Dave" Advin grits out as he tries to control his wolf to shift

"All this time it was you, I see" Adrian sighs sadly seeing one of his most trusted betas to betray him

Dave quietly stays on the ground not wanting to face anyone of them.

"Was Thomas behind all of this?" Dante asks as he sees no one was ready to go there and Dave nods before he finally gets enough courage to face his Alpha who was more of a friend.

"Where did I go wrong Dave?" Adrian asks feeling betrayed from his most trusted man

"No where, Alpha. I know this looks bad but I was always working for Thomas, he asked me to join your pack and help him to get any information he needs while I work for you...

I was the one who helped those mandrakes to dig the holes around the pack grounds without anyone knowing about it...

As well, I was the one who let Thomas in that night which end up killing some of our men," he confesses making Adrian close his eyes in pain as he still clearly remembers the day many of his pack members died in the hands of those vampires

"I do not know what to say or do Dave; this is the last thing I ever imagined to happen, my own men betraying me in the most horrible way...

Now, thanks to you none of my pack members will trust each other and the peace once we had and worked hard to make it happen will ruin because of you" Adrian voices before leaving the man in the cell and walking out where Scar waits for him

"Today, you broke a man's trust Dave, who always saw his pack as his family and always tried to do what was best for you all...

You betrayed him, the worst way there is, for this, you will get your punishment. Because of you many were hurt and now they will be the one who will seal your fate," Dante announces quietly

"What do you mean?" Dave asks in confusion

"Emma" Dante summons leaving her to deal with Dave

"He is ours from here on" Emma whispers before she pulls Dave inside he cloak and disappears

"Where did they go?" Advin asks as he looks inside the cell

"You don't have to worry about that, go and attend your mate. After that, I need all of you back to your post...

They came after our daughters' today; I do not want any of them to live in fear of someone" he orders Advin who nods stiffly before leaving the room

Dante stays inside the room for a long time even after everyone leaves; he still stands facing the cell in all his seriousness.

"Master, you summoned us," a voice whispers from the shadows making him nod

"Any activities on going?" he asks the voice

"Not yet, everything is normal" the voice answers back

"We need to catch Thomas fast before he creates more havoc; he has walked on in this earth for far too long and we need to stop him" Dante states in rage

"I know master, just give us the orders and we will finish him off for you" the voice replies sensing his master's rage

"No one touches him; my son has called the dibs. You just keep an eye out for me, killing him is not the only answer...

For all this craziness to stop, not just him but also his men needs to vanish as well. Now that the new genes of mandrakes are alive, I need someone equal to fight them," he points out before dismissing the voice

"Yes master" the voice states before disappearing

Dante walks out of the room in the night deep in his thoughts anxious for the future as well for the outcome of the things.

He does not have time to wait for the pieces to fall together, he has to collect them first and keep an eye out for it.

The time of playing is done, this time it is about the safety of his children and that is something he will not let anyone to play.

"What are you planning on?" a voice he knows too well stops him

"Ah the king himself shows up" he grins playfully seeing Connor

"I felt something Dante so I ask again what is going on," Connor asks seriously

"You or your son" Dante teases again making Connor growl

"Relax; it was one of my pet visiting me. Someone tried to kidnap the girls today; it was Thomas from what we know...

I sense something much more dark going in and it would be better if your boy starts to block its senses and make a good use of it before the power eats him inside out" he warns Connor who growls at him in warning

"You cannot always protect him all the time Connor, he is not a boy anymore and he needs to fight his battle on his own...

If you cannot handle him then let one of us do it, if he gets a hold of his powers it will be great for our world" Dante explains stepping near Connor who growls once again in warning

"Stay away from my family Dante; you may be acting like a top dog at the moment doesn't mean we will all see you as that...

What my son can or cannot do is none of your bloody concern but if something, you doing are disturbing him then you will answer to me...

He has his father alive to look after him so you and your council stay the fuck out of my son's life, do not drag my boy in all your craziness, if he is then I will not hesitate to change the structure of your so-called council...

Mark my words and keep your pets where they should be," Connor warns him before getting out of the land

"Damn it's hard to be a bad-ass," Dante grumbles rolling his shoulders and walking towards the pack house to check on his family.

He will worry about the future when he is all alone.

Advin after checking on his parents walks to his mate and finds her already in bed snuggled inside the blanket.

Kissing her forehead, he goes to take a shower and after that lies besides her. He never thought their night would end this way.

"You are back" Jasmine yawns snuggling to his side making him smile

"Yes, sleep" he whispers pulling her closer to him

"Everything alright?" she asks looking at his face and he nods

"Everything is perfect, now that I hold you" he smiles kissing her nose lovingly

"Very romantic" she sighs happily before leaving a chaste kiss on his chest

"I think we should mate without making a big fuss about it," she adds yawning again

"I am in no hurry we can mate when you are ready, now sleep" he asks her before closing his eyes as well trying to forget what occurred tonight

Okay readers, first and foremost "THANK YOU ALL MILLION TIMES" now that only Epilogue remained of this story but won't post it till I am done with the follow up story of Affection series Book-4 which will be titled "Sweet Affection"
