For All Sea-Kind
You're probably wondering why Percy can write well in this story, and the truth is that I just forget about shit like his goofiness and dyslexia, so the canon now is that being at New Rome gave him an effective education and maybe they fixed his dyslexia a bit. Besides, he's not dumb like some people write him.
Chapter 2: For All Sea-Kind
Percy spent the next hour or so at the Temple of Neptune, obviously on Temple Hill. As he was the only son of Neptune in the past century, even by the Greeks' admittance, it was a private space for him. Not like the baths could fill that role or even the toilets really. They had evolved enough to build divider stalls, but spirits and Legionnaires still roamed the halls of both the communal bathrooms and toilets, so Percy wouldn't get peace there.
No one, not even ghosts, had visited Neptune's temple for decades before Percy arrived, and he liked to think he had done it up well. The statue of his father was polished, even the unfun parts. The torches he kept regularly lit, and there were always offerings on the table for ol' Pater Maximus. The Temple also gave him a hobby, namely in the plaques that decorated the walls.
Percy was too embarrassed to get one of Vulcan's kids to inscribe them, so hammering the lettering into the sheets of metal became a fond pastime of his. They were only meant for the eyes of him and his future siblings, Percy didn't even let his friends into the temple. It was his safe space, and it was gonna be a safe space for all children of Neptune once Dad eventually broke his promise again.
Indeed, the plaques read something similar to that. A gradual series of messages to all Demigods of Neptune written in Latin.

On August 9th 1945, humanity reached it's apex. Two hundred and twenty six thousand people were wiped out in an instant, a feat not even the Gods could produce. Their lust for blood led to the death of fifty-million people in six years, in a war so great not even the Gods could have influenced it to be so. Six million were industrially murdered with the intention of wiping an entire people off the face of the Earth, a crime that terrified Olympus itself. For the first time in world history, the Gods didn't hate, love or forget abour humanity, they were scared of it. This chaos was led by children of the Big Three, citizens of New Rome itself who had grown to adulthood, and who had risen to lead countries against each other in a hatred of their fellow man and the Gods above. Jupiter, King of the Skies, Neptune, Lord of the Seas, and Pluto, Prince of the Underworld, made the fateful decision, and on that day they swore that no child of theirs would walk this Earth again, knowing only death and destruction would follow. On August 18th 2005, I was born.

I know you've always felt unimportant and alone. The good news? That's a radical symptom of having a God for an absentee mother or father. In that way, you're really not alone. I mean, chances are you don't have any living siblings, but you know what that means? You're the only living Demigod of Neptune, and that makes you important. Checkmate.

When I arrived this temple was an outhouse with a dirt-covered statue of our father wearing barely anything. Now as I write this I'd say its pretty cool. Who knows what it looks like as you read but what I see is a nice little area where we undesirable sons and daughters of that darned ocean can get away from all those jerks. Well, that's what I used to use it for. Still do, though people aren't really jerks anymore. I think getting this cool breastplate and all that treasure and the crown of Augustus is changing peoples minds about me. Well, that and the Fifth Cohort kicked butt last week at war games. Not saying that was all me or anything though, it was Gwen who actually captured it. Anyway, I hope you guys use this space, but don't feel like you have to. I get why sitting in a room with a giant statue of Dad wearing nothing but a towel might be uncomfortable.

I am Augustus. The first one since 476AD. I guess all I can say is big win for us Neptune kids, huh?
-your supreme overlord, Percy
And so the messages went. He had made 9 in total and was still working on what number 10 was gonna say. Probably something about the Greeks, maybe positive, maybe negative.
