Percy and Jason Compare Cock Sizes

This is a hypothetical I thought about while rereading the Lost Hero: what if Jason was the Greek and Percy the Roman demigod? Probably a very basic topic and has likely been done to death, but since I only read Pertemis I haven't really seen it before. Honestly, I forgot that the HoO series is actually good. For the sake of giving Percy something to do, I made up a bit of lore for the Roman world of the Riordanverse including new factions, enemies, etc. It's not just 'Camp Half-Blood but they have to stand in lines', it's more like an actual civilization, with rival civilizations, actual politics and both a culture and history to it. Rick really said "there's an entire subculture in California of isolated Neo-Romans" and then said "but yeah they beefed with the Greeks 150 years ago and havent done anything before or since."

Percy and Jason Compare Cock Sizes

Chapter 1: First Contact

As the ship touched ground there was an air of silence in the Field of Mars, disturbed only by the creak of its wooden exterior and the restlessness of the animals present. Hundreds of armed and armored Legionnaires stood staring at the Argo II as if begging for some cavemen to come running out with malicious intent.

At the front of the Legion stood two tanned teenagers in golden armor, purple cloaks and a laurel wreath and diadem. The one on the left, the girl, had her spear in hand and her other on the hilt of her sword. The guy on the right with the golden laurel diadem had his spatha out of its holster and pointed down into the dirt, his hands resting on its hilt like a Medieval king.

"Did you want to do the talking? You always were the better orator." He offered, looking sideways at his counterpart, whose head sat high and looking down at the ship like a rich brat observing middle-class people. She had to admit, a flying ship was a first, and quite cool.

She smirked at him, her black hair braided over her shoulder drifting as she turned her head. "People always did like you more, but sure. I'll prevent you from embarrassing us." She agreed, conscious that one of them had to take the initiative before their dear Augur beat them to it overstepped his boundaries, again.

"Go get 'em, Caesar." He told her, pronouncing it as Kaiser.

Reyna stepped forward to make the welcoming declaration to the silent ship before suddenly a wooden plank raised to the height of an elephant and dropped double that almost exactly where she was standing. Thankfully she backstepped, but the aggressive crash from the direction of their Caesar had the valley ring out deafeningly as almost five hundred shields slammed into position facing forward, ready for the assault they all craved from the barbarians.

"Sorry! One sec!" They heard a yell from on top of the ship. "Damn things." He still shouted, perhaps unnecessarily, as the voice seemingly fiddled with something behind the railing where they couldn't see. Well, the elephant riders probably could.

Two more similar planks fired up like cannons, stopping once they seemingly reached their maximum length, before the weight imbalance tipped them forward to crash onto the dirt like the central one hand. Thankfully Reyna didn't have to dodge these ones, but she still warily looked side to side like she was an AT-AT about to be hogtied. The Caesar backed up until she was a few feet past the planks, and soon enough figures began to emerge from the ships and cautiously descend the planks like tightropes.

Dozens of kids in orange t-shirts disembarked the ship. The first three to make landfall were a brunette girl with a spear, camouflage cargo pants and a deep red bandana, a blond girl with denim shorts and stormy gray eyes, and a muscular blond guy with a scar above his lip, electric blue eyes and a bronze-colored coin in his hand. Behind him was a Native-looking girl in denim shorts wearing a black and white feather in her hair holding onto his shoulders while trying her best not to fall off the side.

Having common ground in English, Reyna spoke to the Greeks mostly in that language. "Graeci, welcome to Nova Roma. I trust you had a steady... voyage?" She greeted, not sure what to call a cross-country flight on a 2400 year old boat model.

The three apparent leaders touched ground and the blond girl looked at the other two before stepping forward. "Hello. I'm Annabeth Chase, Councillor of the Athena Cabin and these are my friends: Clarisse La Rue, Councillor of the Ares Cabin and Jason Grace, Councillor of and the only member of the Zeus Cabin." She introduced what the Romans presumed were the leaders of the Greeks.

Reyna raised an eyebrow. "A Son of Jupiter? That's... the first in a while. I shouldn't be too surprised, we have our own children of the Big Three. I am Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano, though my official name is Livia Julia Punicus Aurelia. I am Caesar of the Romans, praetor of the Legions and co-consul of the Senatus." She formally introduced, widening the Greeks' eyes with her names. Reyna Veel of Ramírez are what? Olivia Julia Puny Casa what?

Jason stepped forward. "You have more Big Three kids?" He asked for clarification, being it had only been him, Thalia, Bianca and Nico this whole time.

Reyna nodded, gesturing behind her. It was only now the Greeks took in the other waiting guy. His grip on his blade was semi-threatening, and his golden wreath intimidating. His hair like Reyna's was very black, but it was messy and meshed well into the crown. What was on display of his arms and legs displayed lean but tough muscle, and the way he held himself suggested an opponent could be freed from the burden of a head within half a second.

"Hazel, the Praetoria, is a daughter of Pluto. Our resident son of Neptune happens to be my colleague. Graeci, this is-" Reyna pointed out the two guards on either side of Percy, both dressed in purple armor. One was short, black and relatively young, maybe 13 or 14. The other was a chubby Asian kid, though quite tall, who seemed around 14 or 15. However, the Caesar was cut off by her colleague.

The son of Neptune strode over somewhat confidently, flanked by his bodyguards. "Lucius Flavius Traianus Amazonicus Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Titanicus. Augustus Romanorum, Imperator castrorum Iovis, Princeps Senatus, et Dux populi." He stated with a smirk on his face, eyeing each of the Greeks as he approached. "Percy Jackson, for short. Originally it was just the first three names but they keep coming." He gave a welcoming lop-sided grin trying not to awkwardly brush the back of his neck like he wanted to.

An Elfish Latino boy had appeared somewhere during that period, and whispered loudly to the girl behind Jason. "Which of those names was Percy Jackson short for?" He then stepped forward and placed a hand on his chest. "Ahem. I am Leo 'El Diablo' Valdez, supreme leader of the Hephaestus Cabin, Lord of Fire and Steel, uncredited Hero of Olympus, Member of the War Council of the High Ping-Pong Table, the guy everyone listens to and, most importantly, Prince Charming by day, definitive bad boy by night." He grinned, winking at the intimidating purple-cloaked girl he was into. She was just his type, out of his league.

Percy tried not to look as offended as he was, though on the inside there was a great deal of confusion. "Nice to meet you..." He wasn't sure how to answer. Reyna definitely seemed pissed both at the mockery and wink.

Annabeth eyed up the son of Neptune disappointedly. "Huh. Poseidon always seemed like the only good one of his brothers. Thought he'd have kept his vow." She judged analytically as she looked him over. He and Reyna could have been mistaken for siblings, but they had different looks in their eyes. Reyna had stoicism, like she had a duty to uphold and wouldn't stop if her life was on the line. Percy had a similar look, but though the symptoms were the same it seemed like his look was based on a more relaxed, charming and carefree persona. He seemed more like a typical California surfer dude, as opposed to Jason's quarterback alter-ego.

So much for relaxed, because the eyes of Augustus suddenly inflamed as his smile dropped. His head turned to Annabeth. "I don't know much about you guys, Graecus, but in Rome our Minerva campers are known for being smart. Did living in huts tarnish your gene pool or something?" He snapped violently, uncharacteristically towards the blonde, making all the Greeks step back in shock. Even Frank and Hazel looked at each other worriedly.

Reyna punched him in the shoulder with the arm not holding her spear. "Percy. Calm down, she didn't mean anything by it, numbnuts." She turned to Annabeth and tried to salvage the situation. "And neither did he. My apologies, but our Imperator has had a very stressful few weeks. I think we'd be better off beginning the tour and getting you all settled in." She resolved the issue, and Percy stayed silent as he spoke on her behalf.

Reyna assigned a few Centurions to lead the Greeks to where they'd be staying and to give them a rundown of the Camp and New Rome. She also told them to treat them with respect, as the Gods commanded. She didn't want another incident like Percy.
