This book is entirely based on an oddly specific dream I had. If you've read my other Wattpad book at all, you'll probably notice they're kind of similar, and at the same time different. I'm not making them the same on purpose, or out of a lack of creativity. I began writing The Rift before I had this dream, but the dream was so oddly specific, detailed, and epic that I had to write about it. I am also aware that René's dialog is pretty awful, and written in a way that doesn't really make her sound like she has a thick French accent. I apologise in advance and will probably go back and fix that later...
