Deep in a ruin on the planet Cray there was a gate that had chains encased in a mysterious blue energy that showed no signs of rust or breaking. The chains seemed to be protected by the energy as if made to seal something behind the large daunting gate.

Footsteps could be heard as a cloaked figure would stand before the large gate, the figures attire did not look to be of the world of Cray and their height that of a human. 'So this is the gate. With it I can finally escape', As they reached towards the gate their hand seemed to be unable to make it to the gate unable to make contact with their gloved hand. "So the chains prevent interference from this side. But there is another way" The figure would laugh a bone chilling laugh

~Earth~

In a house in a suburban home a boy with golden yellow hair with highlights which were a darker yellow had looked at a mirror as he was in a black school uniform with red lining with a red tie and white button up shirt had fixed up his tie as he smiled at himself in the mirror. "Alright today is the day" he said as he pumped himself up stretching a bit

As the boy finished his stretching he rushed downstairs as he was about to leave but then- "Kin!" A female voice called out as he suddenly stopped and turned around.

The owner of the voice was a girl around the boys age wearing a white uniform with red lines around it making it appear to be like a sailor uniform. She had walked over to the boy and gave him a box wrapped in cloth. "You almost forgot your lunch" she said as she then tied up her long, amber yellow hair into a ponytail "Sorry Hina"

The boy, Kiniro had rubbed the back of his neck as he took the box from the girl, Hinata. "I'll see you after school!" he said as he runs out of the house towards his school 'Stay safe Kin' Hinata would think then heading out for school herself.

As Kiniro would be hurrying off to school as he was getting close to his destination he would spot a boy his age who appeared to be tanned wearing the same uniform as him which would cause the blonde to beam in expression as he rushed over to the fellow student grinning as he walked backwards facing towards him.

"Hey Shade, you ready for high school?" he asked as he got a nod as a response "Yeah, though you don't need to be in such a rush" he said running a hand through the back of his jet black hair. The male Kiniro spoke to in a friendly manner is his best friend Kurai, who was starting at Miyaji Academy just like him

Kiniro would laugh a bit as he got his response to his excitement the way he did as he smiled more. "The sooner we get there, the sooner we can have our cardfight" he said expressing why he was so excited. Kurai grinned a bit as he mentioned this. "Well just don't think you'll win so easily, I've improved my deck since last time" he explained "Then let's hurry and find out!"

~Tempus Fugit~

A tall male with blonde hair similar to Kiniro's wearing a long blue robe with unknown symbols along the fabric holding a staff with crystal ball at the top of it looks at a much larger version of the crystal his weapon held as it showed an image of Kiniro and Kurai as they headed to school. "Are you sure we should involve them in the matter old friend?" A figure spoke from behind him, "If it could be avoided, I would do so. But the circumstances leave us no choice" The male in front of the orb spoke

The second figure would approach showing he was a male with somewhat long, spiked purple hair having a ninja mask covering his mouth wearing what could only be described as a magician cloak with a shinobi attire wearing a black bandana. "I trust your judgement. But we must be sure they aren't lost in the process" he spoke "Of course. I believe they can handle it as our chosen fighters"
