It had been two days since the events of Card shop Galaxia and Kiniro and his friends encounter with the mysterious fighter, Hedeyoshi. Since then they hadn't seen him once and things seemed to be normal.

Today Kiniro and Kurai were at the card shop once again as they had just bought new packs that the manager had put on hold for the two of them leaving the shop by this point looking over all the cards that they had to add to their decks.

"With these new cards, we're sure to make our decks much stronger right, Shade?" Kiniro asked with a grin being enthusiastic about trying out the new cards that he pulled

Kurai nodded in agreement still looking over his own cards before glancing towards him. "Remember you owe me for covering some of the cost you were missing" Hearing that comment Kiniro had felt like he was just pierced by an arrow only being able to respond with a dry chuckle.

He had managed to somehow convince his parents to give him an advance on an allowance but even then he still couldn't cover his half of the payment so Kurai had to help him out.

"Brother, Kurai!" As the two called out to turned towards the source of the familiar voice they would see Hina as she walked up to them. "Hey, Hina, what's up?" Kiniro responded with a smile while Kurai gave a nod "I was just on my way back to school"

Hearing that was what she was doing Kiniro would tilt his head to the side very confused. "But didn't you finish school for the day already?" Kurai rolled his eyes as he looked over to Kiniro. "Pretty sure she's going back for her club, Kin" he observed

Hina nodded as Kurai answered Kiniro's question and pulled out some documents she had which were fight records and strategies.

Being a member of the Fukuhara card fight club she had copies of the records for past events that the club had participated in. "I had to run home and grab these. We got a new member today, so I was asked to handle bringing him up to speed"

Knowing that his sister was in charge of helping a fellow card fighter, Kiniro couldn't help but have a glimmer in his eyes as he placed his hands on Hina's shoulders. "That's really great Hina!" he said excitedly "It also means we'll have a tough fighter on our hands in the future against Fukuhara" Kurai interjected

Hina giggled at that response that Kurai said which lead to a back and forth between him and Kiniro about whether it was a good thing or bad thing.

Suddenly she had an idea as she got between the two to stop them for a moment. "Why don't you two come with me? I'm sure you would get along well with him" she suggested looking between the two of them

Hearing her suggestion the two had looked to her then back towards each other and smiled as they nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan to me" Kurai spoke first finding it worthwhile checking out a potential opponent "Of course! Always good for a chance at a new friend!" Kiniro cheered in agreement

Hina nodded with a sense of pride in getting them to agree as she turned back towards where she was walking before running into them. "Alright let us get going then," she said heading towards her school as her brother and his best friend weren't far behind.

What they didn't realize was a male with a black mohawk in a biker's outfit had looked on from a distance his green eyes having a slit in them like you would expect from a dragon eye, a grin on his face. 'So the fools are taking a trip to a school huh? This could be my chance' They thought as he would follow the trio.

After awhile the trio would finally arrive at the outside of the Fukuhara High building as they would look from the outside for a moment before entering and would soon after arriving at their destination, Fukuhara Cardfight Club.

Kiniro would look around the club building amazed. "It's so big!" Hina giggled at the fact that the first thing he commented on was the size of the club building. "It definitely has more space than our clubroom" Shade stated as he glanced around a bit more before noticing someone among the club members.

The student that Kurai had spotted was a male who seemed to be just older than him and Kiniro with short and neat black hair and just when he was about to say something Hina walked in his direction before looking back to them. "Brother, Kurai I'd like to introduce you to Katashi Zanbara. This is our newest member" she said gesturing to him

Katashi hearing Hina introduce him he looked to her then over to Kiniro and Kurai before bowing his head slightly. "Hey, good to meet you" he responded "Katashi here is a Genesis user who decided to join us after transferring to Fukuhara High" Hina explained

Knowing this left Kiniro in amazement, to him a transfer being accepted into the famous Fukuhara Cardfight Club was a big deal.

Kurai, on the other hand, was impressed but still, he wondered about his abilities. "Hey, Katashi how about a card fight!?" Kiniro suddenly asked as he was already looking forward to a match. Katashi would think for a moment before nodding. "Alright, let's have a good match," he said walking to a table "Come on Shade let's do it!" Kiniro said following

Kurai noticed something out of the corner of his eye as he looked to his phone afterward. "Looks like I gotta head back home. Let me know how the match goes" he said before heading out

Kiniro would wave as Kurai left smiling before then looking back to Katashi as their hands were drawn and the fight would begin. As the fight started the figure hiding would leave the room beginning to follow Kurai who had previously left the room.

~10 Minutes Later, Park~

Kurai had arrived at the park as he would look around as if he was trying to look for something leaving himself out in the open, whatever he was looking for he clearly didn't have much clue of where it was or who it was.

The moment of silence wouldn't last for long however as a fireball had come out from the trees nearby and although it looked like Kurai was about to get hit he makes it out of the way just in time looking to the spot that the fireball came from. "I knew you were following me, come out and face me" he challenged

It wouldn't take long as the person who launched the fireball came out revealing the male biker from earlier as he grinned. "I'm impressed, you're definitely smarter than that blondie from before" he taunted talking about Kiniro "Enough with the games, who or what are you?" Kurai questioned as he wasn't in the mood for idle chatter

The biker would shrug as he would take out a deck his eye changing to be like a dragon once again. "If you wanna find out you'll have to beat me first" It was the bikers' turn to offer a challenge as a mark suddenly appeared on his hand that held up a deck case. However, it couldn't be seen by Kurai it looked as though it resembled the Shadow Paladin clans icon. "You're on"

~Meanwhile, Fukuhara High~

Kiniro had placed the sixth card into his damage zone. "Man I lost" he sighed out in disappointment

But even still he smiled at Katashi as he did lose but he had a lot of fun "That was an awesome match! I've never seen a deck like yours before" Katashi nodded in agreement

He held out a hand for a handshake which Kiniro accepted keeping his bright smile. "It was a good match, it's too bad I couldn't go against your friend once" he expressed which made Kiniro smile looking to his deck "Shade is a really strong fighter. He taught me everything about the game" he mumbled to himself

~Back at the Park~

"Tsukikage will attack the vanguard! End it!" Kurai declared. The biker had looked to his hand but he had barely anything he could use to defend as he took his sixth damage and lost screaming out in pain as his hidden mark burned.

Kurai didn't pay any mind to this though as he approached the male lifting him up by his collar. "Now tell me what I want to know now" he demanded.

The male would growl in a way that didn't seem human as moments later the human body would fall onto the ground unconscious.

What was left standing above Kurai was the unit the biker had called his avatar, Shadow Blaze Dragon. "I'll kill you!" he growled about to devour Kurai while he was left stunned.

But suddenly Hedeyoshi showed up punching the dragon with his prosthetic arm knocking it to the ground and held it out to the now downed dragon. "Resonance Break" he muttered as bolts of lightning had zapped the dragon causing him to roar out in pain and vanished.

As this unreal moment had passed Kurai managed to process what had just happened as he looked over to Hedeyoshi with a confused, yet serious expression. "Just what the hell is going on?" he questioned. Hedeyoshi seeing the expression Kurai had he knew that there wasn't going to be an easy way to sway him off what he clearly saw and considering he won his fight he could see that at the very least he would be able to handle this. "Alright I'll tell you everything" he responded
