In the hallways of Miyaji Academy, Kiniro and Kurai had been walking towards their class as they had to be introduced to their teachers and begin their studies.

It wouldn't take long for the day to nearly be over as the two would be heading out of the school. "Man classes seem longer than they are huh?" Kiniro asked glancing over to Kurai with his hands behind his head "Yeah. I'd rather just get it done with and head to the cardshop" Kurai would agree "Your sister is lucky to be done with her classes already Shade"

Kurai would shrug as he heard this, his sister Mikasa Matiro had graduated from school at the start of the year and thus would move on to find work and was currently out of the country for this.

The conversation was interrupted as the bell would ring and the two looked at each other and grinned knowing exactly what that meant. "Time to settle it right?" Kurai questioned as Kiniro nodded in agreement. With that the two of them had increased their pace as they would be heading out of the school with one goal in mind. Cardfighting

~Outside Miyaji Academy~
On the grounds of the high school the two had attended someone had been close by observing as if watching and waiting for someone, they seemed to be there for hours and it was hard to tell what they looked like because they had worn a mask and had a hoodie with the hood up.

The figure wouldn't show movement until Kiniro and Kurai had walked out of the building. "Race you to the shop Shade!" Kiniro called out as he dashed for the store "Oh no you don't Kin" Kurai responded as he raced to follow.

As they watched the two run off, the figure would take out a deck and look to the bottom card seeing it glowed 'That's them alright. I need to confront them' As the figure would have this thought they would put the deck away and come out of their hiding spot and headed out to follow the two.

~10 Minutes Later~

Kiniro and Kurai would finally arrive to the card shop that they are regulars at, Cardshop Galaxia. The shops sign had a design of a shooting star with the name written across the tail.

"Looks like I win Kin" Kurai said as he walked up to the doors as they opened automatically "You may have won the race but I'll win the cardfight!" Kiniro said excitedly as he follows inside looking around to the blue and black surroundings of the card shop with white fight tables and desks to use for matches

As the two wondered in a male who seemed to be not much older than them had looked up to them from behind the counter. He had short blond hair that had a spiky, more natural look to them wearing a black and red vest with a silver undershirt and blood red jeans and a pin with the initials of the store on his vest collar.

"Welcome back you two" The owner greeted "Hey Nagito, did the new sets come in yet?" Kiniro asked with a gleam in his eye

Nagito had nodded as he took out a box and put it on the counter opening it to reveal two piles of boosters "Fanatic Phantasm and Uprising of Mysteries are right here" he stated "That's great! I can't wait to-"

Kurai cleared his throat looking to Kiniro. ''You spent your money on packs last week remember?" he interrupted as Kiniro sweat drops as he knew he was right "Well be sure to save some for us" Kiniro said picking himself right back up "Well you are regulars, so I don't mind holding a box in reserve" Nagito responded

"Let's not waste time and get right to it" Kurai suggested and grabbed Kiniro's arm about to drag him to a table when suddenly Hina come into the store and looked to the two storming up to them "Kin you two were about to fight without me weren't you?" she asked crossing her arms "Well..."

As Hina was about to say something Kurai clapped his hands to bring their attention back to him. "No point worrying about it. We can settle things with some matches" With those words Hina and Kiniro would both nod in response looking to him "Yeah lets do it!" Kiniro cheered "As long as I can go first" Hina followed up

The trio as they spoke and finally headed to a table Nagito couldn't help but chuckle then looking towards the roof. "I'm sure he would be interested in seeing what's to come today"

Moments later as Kurai and Hina were about to fight the doors opened once more as Nagito looked to the entrance seeing the hooded figure from earlier. "May I help you with anything?" Nagito questioned having an odd vibe from the customer

The figure didn't respond to him as he looked around the place until his gaze landed on Kiniro and Kurai "Sighted.." They muttered

Nagito stepped in front of them, "Look you need to-" Ignored again the figure went past him and walked up to Kiniro and Kurai "Are you the users of Spellbound Hex and Horologia?"

The two would look to each other in silence for a moment "Kin and Shade aren't obligated to answer your question" Hina stated trying to keep the two out of trouble not trusting the mysterious person "Answer" The figure demands

Kurai sighed at how forward he was being as he held up his deck and Kiniro would do the same, Alternate Time Wanderer, Clockwork sitting on Kiniro's deck and Baron of Curse, Tsukikage sitting on Kurai's.

The figure as they saw the two units knew these two were the ones and held out both their hands. "Give me your decks, right now"

As the two were suddenly asked this they would clearly be shocked. "H-how rude!" Hina stuttered "I won't have this kind of conduct in my store, you need to leave" Nagito would walk up to the figure and grab their arm but as it was a sudden rotary sound like you'd expect from a machine rang out in the store and moments later a burst of electricity came out from their arm, Nagito falling back and his arm shaking having been electrocuted

Kiniro had gripped his hand around his deck getting worried as he saw the store manager still recovering from being shocked on the floor and would suddenly speak up. "I can't let you do that" he said

Kurai nodded in agreement keeping a cool-head stature "I have no need to go along with your demands" The figure would scoff although hard to tell from under their disguise "It's for your own good. Now hand them over"

"They said no! You need to leave them alone" Hina was about to step up to the one before them but Kiniro stopped her as the figure suddenly held up a deck

"You leave me no choice. I will force you to comply" The figure suddenly said as the sight of a deck took everyone else involved by surprise

Kiniro would suddenly smile "Alright it's a fight then! If I win, you have to apologise to Nagito" he suddenly said "Kin you can't-" Hina said but the figure interrupted her ''Then if I win, you hand them over" he simply

With a nod Kiniro and the figure would switch out with Kurai and Hina as the two along with Nagito would stand beside the table as two set up. "This is a bad idea..." Hina mumbled to Kurai quietly, clearly worried

Kurai shook his head and crossed his arms with a grin "I believe Kin can handle it" he states

The two now ready had looked to each other. "My name is Kiniro Inazuma. I can't exactly call you 'Shadowy Figure' so what should I call you?" Kiniro suddenly asked tilting his head

The figure sighed as they knew it would be a bad move but as a fighter had to respect his request taking off his hood to reveal his brown, chestnut hair which was short and seemed to be brushed to his left side and with his cloak moved an arm that was distinctly metal was revealed. "My name is Hedeyoshi Tamagura" he responded

Kiniro smiled as he nodded "Let's make it a good fight Hedeyoshi" he said

"Stand up (Powerful), Vanguard!" Both fighters said in unison
