. Knowing him and his family for a long time, and also buying ammo and guns from him for use at the Shooting Range.

. Knowing his daughter, Emma Kendo, and his Wife and doing the usual things family friends would do.

. When Raccoon City went to hell, you immediately went to Kendo's Gun Shop and found him with Emma.

. Helping him to defend his Shop and whatever was left inside of it, also encountering Leon and Ada in the process.

. Staying with him when he had no choice but to end Emma's suffering, and then getting that Radio message from his brother.

. The two of you worked together to make your way through the sewers and escape the City with him, vowing to work together in memory of Kendo's lost family.
