. You met him while serving in the US Army, he took a liking to you quite quickly, even becoming drinking buddies.

. Being drafted into the BSAA along with him, and training how to fight Bio Terror.

. Getting to meet Chris Redfield and work with him and Piers on several assignments, including the Marhawa Case.

. Having to listen to him fanboy over Chris, sometimes getting jealous of how much he admires the man.

. Being part of the Mission in Edonia, and seeing the whole of Alpha Team get infected, while having to save Chris and Piers lives.

. Helping him to stage an intervention for Chris after they found him in a bar, and subsequently going on the Mission in Lanshiang.

. Fighting with him and Chris to help stop the Bio Terror Attack with the C-Virus.

. Being heartbroken when Chris was the only one to return from the Oil Rig alive.

. Being there for his Funeral, and then vowing to stay in the BSAA to continue the fight against Bio Terrorism.
