. You met him when you went to University, you became good friends and got to see for yourself that he was a Prodigy Biologist.

. He soon told you about what happened to his Grandfather back in the village he grew up in, and how he set out on his own to make a name for himself in his Grandpa's memory.

. Luckily enough, the both or you were recruited into Umbrella together, with you being an assistant for Luis while he worked.

. You both worked together in Umbrella Europe's Sixth Laboratory, and left with him after seeing the research into the NE-a Parasite, and seeing that Umbrella were not as good as they said they were.

. You went with Luis back to Valdelobos, where you were both recruited into the Los Illuminados by Osmund Saddler to help research and improve the Plaga Parasite.

. Along the way, you were both injected with a Plaga Egg and fell under Saddler's control, until Luis used his machine to remove and destroy both of your Plaga's, freeing you both of Saddler's influence.

. Helping Luis in whatever way you can to secure the Dominant Strain Plaga so that you could both escape, and also meeting Leon.
