Wished He Did

Todoroki seems to have many regrets.

Bakugo is surprised because he doesn't have a lot of memories just lingering at the surface. It's practically a jump scare when he learns about something in Todoroki's past.

He does, however, hold regret.

A lot of regret.

When Bakugo interacts with other people as Todoroki. There's a lingering feeling that he holds which tells him that Todoroki wishes he could have been more social.

More socially aware.

It makes him feel less normal.

Which is utter bullshit because yeah Todoroki is fucking weird, but never would Bakugo call him not normal.

That means that it's definitely Todoroki's mind that tells him that he should be more 'normal'.

How fucking stupid.

This idiot wouldn't be the same Todoroki that everyone seems to enjoy being around if he was 'normal'.

Who even says that shit nowadays?

What constitutes as being normal and not normal?

Todoroki seems to associate being not normal as bad and a curse he has to hold.

It's also like he blames himself, but that's ridiculous. It was Endeavor who forced him into isolation.

Todoroki didn't lock himself away and push his siblings away from himself along with his mother, leaving him absolutely alone. Todoroki didn't take himself out of regular school in primary school before he could really learn about social status and the rules.

It's lonely.

And not in the way that Bakugo feels it when he's himself.

It's lonely in the way that leaves a hole in his chest and adds onto the empty feeling that Todoroki already feels.

Bakugo knows why he feels the loneliness.

Todoroki doesn't seem to understand it completely and for some reason that makes Bakugo ten times sadder about the situation.

He feels overprotective now that he really knows the idiot.

On Thursday night, he goes to the Todoroki residence, hoping training goes fine as he walks up to the door. Just one more day of this before the weekend and Todoroki will stay over.

Endeavor won't be able to force him into training if they have a guest.

So Bakugo plans on doing whatever he can in order to make sure Endeavor doesn't get too angry. He hits really fucking hard when he's mad.

It's just today that he has to do this.

For some reason that sparks up another thing in Todoroki's mind.

Another regret.

I wish I told someone about this sooner.

Bakugo's freezes at that thought.

Todoroki wishes he told someone sooner? About his dad beating him?

Yeah, Bakugo can see why he would want that, but talking about your abuse is hard. Really hard. Todoroki shouldn't blame himself.

Shouldn't hate himself because he never talked about the abuse of his father. It's probably just as traumatizing to talk about the shit that happened to you. Especially with how ridiculous people are and don't even get him started on the victim blaming.

Holy shit Bakugo can go on a ten minute tangent on the dumbasses who victim blame and why they're fucking stupid.

An alarm forces him out of his thoughts and he sighs, knowing he has to change for training with Endeavor.

So he gets up from the desk, putting away the homework he was just doing before starting to get ready. It hadn't taken long which is why he's shocked when he hears thundering footsteps heading his way.

He checks his phone quickly, checking if he was actually taking long, but it's still fifteen minutes before he's supposed to spar with Endeavor. Just as he puts his phone down, Endeavor opens the door with force and the noise makes a spike of fear rush through Bakugo.

"What is taking you so damn long? You're supposed to be ready."

Bakugo knows that it's not true, but he doesn't want to argue. Doesn't want to put Todoroki's body in harms way.

"I apologize. I'm getting ready quickly."

This seems to get Endeavor even angrier, flames rising and eyes glaring at Bakugo.

"You're sparring with that, get the fuck over here now," the man yells, putting some fear in him.

Bakugo nods, following instructions intently and walks out of the room quickly.

Endeavor doesn't move, so he has to walk past him in order to get through the door. When he does that, though, Endeavor shoves him so hard, he trips, barely catching himself in time before falling.

He's glad he was able to prevent himself from falling because he doesn't know what Endeavor would have done if he'd ended up on the floor.

"You're not allowed dinner."

Fuck. How is that beneficial to Todoroki? If Endeavor was so hell bent on making Todoroki the number one hero, how is taking away his meal going to help that happen?

This man is just a jealous asshole who thinks he has all the power.

Man he can't wait to put this bastard behind bars.

"Yes, sir," Bakugo answers.

Then they get to sparring.

It's absolutely ridiculous, really. Endeavor is angrier than usual, Bakugo feeling absolutely blessed when Endeavor misses every time because he can hear the limb pass his ear and he knows it would have definitely done some damage.

More than just the regular damage where he passes out.

If Endeavor hits him now, it'll send him to Recovery Girl in the morning.

But then that freaks Bakugo the fuck out because the longer this goes on, the angrier Endeavor will get, so then the harder the final blow will land.

He honestly doesn't know how to do this or how to get out of it because he really doesn't want Todoroki's body to suffer further.

He side steps, just barely missing the kick that was headed straight for his face. The raw strength of the kick has Bakugo hearing the whoosh of air that passes when Endeavors leg flies way too close to his head.

It just makes the end of the sparring match way less appealing.

Like way way less appealing.

Bakugo doesn't think that he could get out of this unscathed. There's just no way with how horribly furious the man is.

This is so obviously ending bad. It's scary knowing that he might be hit so hard he throws up, passes out, or probably even dies. That's not even including all the fire based injuries that could occur especially on the right side of Todoroki's body.

Holy shit what happens if he dies?

Does he die or does Todoroki die?

He's never even thought about that.

Fuck.

The only thing he can think of to get out of this with the least amount of scars and fatal injuries is to get hit just barely more constantly that way Endeavor calms down little by little.

So he allows Endeavor to graze him more consistently until he's less likely to kill him in the end.

"You're worthless, Shoto. Will never amount to anything with how weak you are. I can't believe how easy you are to beat. You're disappointing."

Endeavor makes disgusting comments like that here and there, but it's getting more consistent now that he's getting more hits in.

"What do you have to say about that, Shoto?" Endeavor asks, trying to get a rise out of him.

Jokes on him, though. He isolated Todoroki so much and made him repress his feelings so often that now practically nothing can make Todoroki express how he really feels. Even if he is mad.

And boy is Bakugo getting really fucking pissed off right now.

The words being thrown at Todoroki like if he's nothing really angers the fuck out of him and he wants to explode Endeavor with his own quirk into a million fucking pieces until no one is able to tell that it was him in the first place.

This guy deserves to rot in hell and suffer the absolute greatest tragedy.

But he's supposed to be Todoroki right now.

Calm and collected.

Cool and rational.

"I will train more," is all he says to appease the man in some way.

Not giving him the reaction he wanted but still making it seem like he knew he could do better.

It was the most Todoroki response ever.

Bakugo would know how annoying it is because he does things to get a rise out of Todoroki all the time. No wonder he knows how to turn the tables and get Bakugo worked up. He's had to deal with that type of behavior for his entire life.

Now Bakugo feels like the worst asshole to ever live knowing that Todoroki had to live with this.

Ugh he can't even imagine being put down like that by his own father after being scarred by his mom.

Sure Todoroki does try to have a lot of love and sympathy for him mom, but deep down, Todoroki is still terrified of her for what she did to him and that also makes Bakugo want to ball up into a blanket and cry everything out.

As Todoroki, he can do no such thing, but trust it when he says that he will definitely be crying about it when he's back in his own body because what the fuck it's so sad.

The sparring makes Bakugo even more anxious by the second as Endeavor shows no signs of calming the hell down.

It makes his heart race faster and faster as time goes on, especially when he starts getting even more exhausted trying to dodge.

During this time, Bakugo's attempts to let Endeavor get hits in, stop becoming something he allows and instead becomes something that just happens because he can't dodge as well.

Stupid exhaustion.

Todoroki's endurance is worse than his, but it's still pretty good.

Bakugo is giving his body the benefit of the doubt only because of the anxiety that could be hindering his abilities.

"You're getting sloppy. That's no excuse for when a villain kills more civilians just because you can't fight back any longer."

He's right.

That thought trips Bakugo up so hard and he completely misses the fist heading straight for him, causing the hit to land right on his face.

What the fuck?

That was not his own thought.

That was Todoroki's.

He doesn't really think about it as Endeavor just takes advantage of the slip up and starts absolutely beating him, body three times bigger than his.

Bakugo lifts his hands and does his best to prevent more damaging blows to Todoroki's face.

As Todoroki, Bakugo has noticed the distain this guy has for his own face because of the scar that he almost completely blames on his dad.

Because of this, Bakugo knows that Todoroki would hate for more attention to be drawn to his face.

So whatever he does, he wants to make sure that Endeavor doesn't get as many hits in on his face so that Todoroki won't feel absolutely revolted by it.

It's the least he can do now because he fucked up so bad.

He feels like utter shit now for allowing this to happen.

"That's what you get for getting distracted," Endeavor says, making sure to hit harder with every word.

Once the man got tired of dragging Shoto's name through the mud, Endeavor started bashing on his mom as he continued to beat him. That sent a wave of sadness and anger through Bakugo and it just motivated him to try harder.

In this moment, regret washed over Bakugo, too.

It was a shock, but Bakugo could feel why.

Todoroki regretted not completely disobeying his father.

He wished he had fought this.

Wished he hadn't gone along with these stupid training sessions as he got older.

He wished he had started visiting his mother from the get-go.

He wished he stayed in contact with his siblings despite the barriers.

He wished they reached out to him.

He just wished for so many things and they all seemed unattainable now all because he didn't try before.

That hurt more than the blows Endeavor was dealing.

That's the last thing Bakugo was thinking about when he was finally knocked unconscious.

~~~~~
He woke up, blood dried on his head and around his nose.
There's pain around his entire body and he wonders if there are any noticeable marks on his face. Todoroki would hate that.
He had no idea what time it was and when he stood up, he swayed, but managed to keep his balance.
It wasn't until he decided to take a step forward that he immediately stumbled and fell to the ground, legs giving out on him as the dizziness overtook his vision.
The idea that something was seriously wrong got into his head and Bakugo started worrying.
If Todoroki was really hurt, sure it would be good for the case, but this is not his body. This could have serious repercussions in the future. What if this caused health issues for the other teen?
It would be on Bakugo's conscience.
He could not have that.
Sighing, Bakugo decided to give the walking another go. He knows that Todoroki would have already left over twenty messages, worrying about what's happened.
So he stands up slowly, not feeling as dizzy since he took his time. He did, however, feel the bruises all over, ache.
Then he takes deep breaths before finally taking a slow step forward.
He feels the room spin, but he's able to manage it now that he's moving more slowly and can react appropriately.
Bakugo sticks his hands out for balance and also for precaution, but he eventually makes it to Todoroki's room, immediately going for his phone to make sure Todoroki knows he's okay.
Wow, forty messages and eleven missed calls.
It's three in the morning and the last notification from Todoroki was from two minutes ago.
Shit.
So he clicks on the call button, finding it easier to do that instead of typing.
"Bakugo? You asshole, are you okay? You've freaked me out," Todoroki starts, immediately answering.
Bakugo doesn't blame him, knowing that he would be worried if it was the other way around.
He's halfway to the restroom when he answers the other.
"Yeah- well, no. Your old man was absolutely pissed today. I don't know why, but he definitely took it out on me and I'm pretty sure I have a concussion among other injuries."
It's like deja vu.
The other takes a sharp breath.
"Send me photos."
"What?"
"We need proof, remember?"
Bakugo gets that, but Todoroki inside of Bakugo's body would not be able to handle that.
He'd get all self conscious and embarrassed and would probably spiral.
"I'll take photos, but I'm not sending them to you. We'll go to Recovery Girl tomorrow. Sound good?"
"Okey," he says almost too quietly.
Quickly changing the topic, Bakugo asks why the other was still awake.
"Well, I was overthinking and was scared for you and so I just stayed awake. I didn't wanna miss when you called."
Todoroki sounds nervous. Bakugo would know what he sounds like.
He did something.
"What happened?" Bakugo asks.
There's silence.
So something did happen.
"I did something bad."
Guilty. He sounds so guilty and it makes Bakugo feel guilty because it's his body and his mind that pushed Todoroki.
"It's okay. Are you in danger? I'm not mad. You want me to go over?"
No one has ever talked like this to Bakugo, but he's always needed it. Always needed someone to be there and be comforting like this.
"Yeah. Come over, please."
That nice 'please' comes from Todoroki himself.
Bakugo would not say please like that.
"Okay. Wait in the living room for me."
And Bakugo hangs up, getting all the stuff he'll need for school tomorrow as quickly as possible without causing more disruption to the injuries already on Todoroki's body.
He initially wanted to just run over no matter what, but he needs to take care of Todoroki's body right now. It's seriously hurt.
Not only that, but they have school tomorrow, so school supplies was necessary.
Although that was the case, Bakugo is out of the house within ten minutes.
The thing that took him the most time was bandaging up the more serious injuries.
It really didn't take long to get to his house, so as he neared it, he dialed Todoroki's number.
"Bakugo?"
"I'm almost there. Is the door unlocked?"
There's shuffling on the other side of the phone.
"No I'm going now."
"Okay I'm less than a block away."
He can already see his house, noticing that multiple lights are on.
His parents aren't home, so it must've been Todoroki who left them on.
It's fine, but a little worrying.
Maybe Todoroki was paranoid?
They're still on the phone and through the phone, Bakugo can hear Todoroki unlocking and opening the door while he can see the door opening in person.
Once he has eyes on Todoroki, still definitely not used to seeing his own body, he hangs up the call and walks just a tad faster towards the other, feeling the need to help.
He has to hold back from running at him, worrying about how Todoroki is holding up.
"You were fast," Todoroki comments, walking up to him.
Bakugo nods towards the house, motioning for Todoroki to go back in with him.
"Yeah, well, it's really not that far and I was freaking out. What happened?"
Todoroki doesn't answer until they're inside and the front door is closed and locked behind them.
"I hurt myself- or- well, I hurt your body. On purpose," he says, sounding guiltier and more on the brink of a breakdown by the second, "I'm so sorry Bakugo. I was just scared and there were so many bad thoughts. I just-" he stops on a gasp through the tears that had started pouring, "it was the only thing that stopped the noise."
His sad and guilty eyes peered up at him hesitantly, but all Bakugo could think about was getting him to be okay.
"Are you okay? I'm not mad. I'm just wondering where your head is at right now."
He waits for an answer, but instead he gets tackled into a hug.
It's sudden and shocking, he doesn't expect it at all because he's never done this himself.
Then again, he's never had the chance to.
"I'm sorry. I know this is weird, but right now it's like I need it and of course you know how to speak to me right now because this is you and you know how you want to be spoken to. God it's so confusing and weird, but I can feel how much you've wanted to be comforted. I can feel how much you've longed for care like this, so you helping me like this is so important."
And so Bakugo hugs back.
He tightens his hold around Todoroki and tries to forget that he's hugging his own body and instead just focuses on how he's comforting Todoroki.
Just Todoroki and nothing else.
"It's fine, Halfie."
The other teen shakes his head.
"I cut your body. A lot."
Bakugo doesn't care about that. He cares about whether or not it hurts. Or how he's handling it.
"Are you in any pain?"
That seems to set Todoroki off.
"Bakugo," he starts yelling, "that's not the issue. I don't care if I'm in pain I purposely hurt your body. I-"
His lip wobbles and all the anger disappears.
Suddenly he's tearing up and a sob escapes him.
"I'm like him," he says, voice breaking and shaky.
He's talking about Endeavor.
Immediately, Bakugo shuts that down.
"No. You are not like that asshole. You did your fucking best to keep my body unharmed and healthy. That's hard because and I can't even do that when I've been living like this for as long as I can remember. You're good. You're all that's good and he isn't. Don't compare yourself to him."
The entire situation is sad.
"I know it's fucking hard to stop yourself from self harm. I know. Don't feel too bad. I've done much worse, which you probably already know about."
Todoroki nods quietly.
He's obviously still feeling guilty, but the words have him calming down somewhat.
"We should probably get some rest before school tomorrow- actually- should we even go? What's one day?" Bakugo asks, realizing that they're both in need of a break.
"We could stay over here because my parents are out. There's no need to stay at your place where your dad's face will make me want to punch him," he suggests.
Todoroki seems to like the idea, but he seems hesitant about it.
"My dad though," Todoroki reminds.
Bakugo can easily spin this around on Endeavor.
"I can handle him, easy. Just come with me," Bakugo says, pulling him over to the restroom.
He can distract Todoroki by telling him to patch him up. He's got dried blood all over and cuts and scratches that he didn't completely bandage them up, waiting to make sure Todoroki was okay.
He just bandaged up enough to be safe.
"Help me clean the wounds. It's a little hard for me to get my back when I'm all sore," Bakugo says, hoping Todoroki doesn't feel bad about the pain.
Bakugo puts the toilet seat down and sits on it, taking off his shirt.
Todoroki already knows where the first aid kit is, so Bakugo decides not to point under the sink where the kit is. That'd probably be annoying to Todoroki.
Immediately, Todoroki gets it and starts helping him clean the few cuts that are on his body. Although there are very few, they are pretty deep.
The bruises are much worse, though.
He's careful around those.
"I'm sorry about this," Todoroki says after some silence.
Bakugo shakes his head. It's not his fault. At all.
"It's okay. You have nothing to do with your dad's abusive behavior."
"No, but he is my dad and I'm sorry you have to deal with this pain," he says, voice quiet.
For some reason, Bakugo feels like he should speak quietly, too.
"You've had to deal with it for way longer. I'm sorry, too," he says, looking at Todoroki as he takes out the bandages to patch him up well.
At his words, Todoroki looks up and smiles at him.
"Thanks."
~~~~~

There's a lot of things Todoroki wished he did.

Being honest was a big one.

He wished he told his teachers that the bruises weren't from a fall. They were from Endeavor. His dad would beat him daily.

The scar wasn't just because his mom had a psychotic break. His dad pushed his mom to that point.

No he didn't know what it was like to have siblings because even though he had them, they were never around. His dad drove them away.

He did care that he didn't have any friends. It wasn't his fault his dad isolated him.

Bakugo felt like shit knowing this stuff about him.

He could feel the absolute yearning that Todoroki held. It broke his heart and made him promise himself that no matter what, when they were back, he was going to care for Todoroki in a way that no one had before.

Bakugo knows that he and Todoroki have never had that kind of relationship.

They couldn't even say they were friends.

This changed everything, though.

Bakugo knows that he can't go back to their old ways.

Todoroki hiding his dad's abuse and Bakugo hiding his mental health.

Both doing that alone.

That would change.

He is not going to let Todoroki go through anything alone.

There's no way in hell, as an aspiring hero, that he could.

So as he watches over him, sleeping soundly on the bed as Bakugo watches from the floor, he promises that even if people find it weird that he changed up the way he treated and got along with Todoroki, he's going to be kind.

He's going to change his ways, even towards other people.

It was going to be a feat, but he knew that if he wanted Todoroki to live just a little bit better than he had been living before, he was going to have to make these small changes.

And it wasn't like he was changing himself for the worst. Doing this would make him a better hero.

If nothing else, it would at least make Todoroki like him more.

"Pancakes?"

Bakugo nearly jumps in surprise at the voice, not noticing that Todoroki had woken up.

Does he want pancakes for breakfast?

"Could you make pancakes," Todoroki asks, looking at Bakugo through sleepy eyes before yawning, tears forming at the edges of his eyes.

Bakugo nods, standing up and stretching, feeling aches all over.

Shit.

This is why he'd wanted to go to school in the first place.

Todoroki's body has cuts, aches, and bruises all over.

"Chocolate chips?" Bakugo asks as he walks away from the other teen, towards the door in order to start making the pancakes this idiot wanted.

"Yeah," Todoroki answers, still half asleep as his eyes threaten to close on him at any moment. Still, Bakugo stares in amazement as he watches his own body move.

Wow he's really skinny. Not in a Todoroki kind of skinny where it's healthy and hidden muscle. No, it's a sickly type of skinny that looks concerning.

"I've been trying to put some weight on your body. I hope you don't mind," Todoroki says, noticing that Bakugo was staring from the doorway.

Bakugo snaps out of it, realizing that even though it's not Todoroki's body, it might still make him feel self conscious because he's the one that's in it for the time being. He clears his throat, smiling lightly because Todoroki is trying and it means a lot to him that he cares and is trying to do something despite Bakugo's mind being all messed up.

"Thank you."

That's all he can say really.

He doesn't know how else to express his gratitude at the moment. He's going to have to make it up to Todoroki when they're back to normal.

"Come on, get up. Being alone sucks when you have my mind," Bakugo says, and motions for Todoroki to follow him.

He doesn't have to turn around to know that Todoroki was following him. He could hear the ruffling of the sheets and then the footsteps that were following.

"I got ready for the day before you woke up. Your turn. Just join me in the kitchen when you're done," Bakugo instructs, turning around to Todoroki right when he reaches the top of the stairs.

The restroom is right there, so Todoroki just nods and enters the restroom.

From there, Bakugo heads downstairs and starts getting breakfast ready.

Two pancakes for Todoroki should be enough. Maybe a little too filling, but it'll be up to Todoroki to eat as much as he wants.

Todoroki's body, however, seems to require as much food as possible because he burns it so fast. He could eat more than five pancakes and still not be full.

Around ten minutes later, Todoroki joins Bakugo who's just finishing up the batter.

"How much do you think you can keep down?" Bakugo asks, turning away from Todoroki to take the batter to the stove, ready to start cooking.

The other teen is quiet for just a few seconds as Bakugo puts butter on the pan.

"Two. I can maybe get down three, but I don't know. I'll try," he says.

Bakugo shakes his head.

"You don't have to do anything. If you think you'll get full with two, then I'll only make two. I know how it feels to eat too much when your mind can't handle it. It feels gross. I just want you to be comfortable," he says, turning to him.

This whole situation is hard.

He and Todoroki don't exactly get along, so their relationship is kind of weird. It seems too much like trying to please one another instead of being comfortable.

Todoroki bites his lip and fiddles with his fingers.

"Two."

Bakugo nods, happy that he was now thinking about feeling comfortable.

"Sometimes rushing to get better can end up bad. I've done it and it's not fun. It makes me feel worse. Take it slow."

Bakugo doesnt get a response, but he knows Todoroki heard.

As long as Todoroki knows that Bakugo appreciates what he's doing, that's all that matters.

"So should we email Aizawa or something?"

Changing the subject. A good way to deflect the emotion and serious conversation.

That is a good idea, though. Emailing the teacher would prevent the man from worrying or something. No matter how much he pretends not to care, Mr. Aizawa actually cares a lot. More than necessary, really, but it's nice to have a teacher who cares so much.

"Yeah, you do that. Make sure to tell him we're good and will be back Monday. It's Friday so that should be fine," Bakugo says, flipping the pancakes and smirking when he sees that they're the perfect color.

He makes about ten in total, two maybe three for Todoroki and seven or eight for Bakugo.

He doubts Todoroki will actually eat the three pancakes, but they'll be in the pile of pancakes in case he decides to eat more.

He leaves the dishes to soak in water as he goes to sit down to eat with Todoroki.

It's fairly quiet.

Small talk about their lives and even though they're in each other's bodies with each other's minds, the stories that they tell are very interesting and they listen intently.

It's like this for a while, even after they've finished eating. They just stay at the table with their empty plates and talk. That is until Bakugo's phone rings, showing Mr. Aizawa's caller ID.

Weird. He didn't even send a message before.

Bakugo's answers, shooting Todoroki a confused look as he puts the man on speaker.

"Bakugo?"

"Yeah?"

The man on the other side of the phone sounds half asleep.

"Are you and Todoroki alright?"

Bakugo almost rolls his eyes. He just got beat half to death and Todoroki is on the verge of killing himself with Bakugo's mental health. No they're not alright.

"Yeah, it's just a little hard when you're living someone else's life without knowing you were going to," he jabs, hoping the man feels even just a little bit guilty.

It seems to work.

"Yeah, I apologize. I didn't really think about it and just wanted you guys to learn a lesson. I didn't think it'd be like this," he sighs.

"Whatever. It's too late now."

"So is Todoroki with you?"

This time it's said teen who speaks up, revealing his presence. "I'm here," he says.

Mr. Aizawa clears his throat.

"Alright. Your absences will not be counted. You guys are safe?"

Todoroki is the one who rolls his eyes this time, so Bakugo decides to let him answer this one.

"Like I mentioned in my email, yes, we're safe."

"Okay. I'd like to receive those photos if you don't mind, Todoroki and Bakugo. They'd help with evidence. It would actually be better if you'd come to the school, but that can wait until Monday."

Bakugo looks over at Todoroki for permission to send Mr. Aizawa the photos of his body all bruised and scratched up.

When he gets a firm nod, Bakugo nods back in support.

"We will send the photos when the call ends and see you on Monday," Todoroki answers.

"Okay, text or call if there are any issues or if you need anything. I'll see you both on Monday."

And with that, the man hangs up and leaves the two teens a little bit annoyed with the man because this is his fault. They're stuck in each other's bodies because of him.

"We should make him buy us a four course meal at the most expensive restaurant ever when we're back," Bakugo says, picking up his phone in order to send the man the photos of proof that Endeavor is abusive.

Honestly, he doesn't know how well these photos will do in court.

They're training to be pro heroes, cuts and bruises are part of the job. They could easily say that these injuries are from training.

Nevertheless, Bakugo sends them to him.

Todoroki huffs in amusement at what Bakugo said.

"What's funny?"

Todoroki shakes his head and sighs.

"A four course meal at the most expensive restaurant when we're back? Bakugo you don't eat and I'm rich. That's nothing."

Bakugo scoffs, finding that funny. That's not the point, though.

"I just want him to make it up to us. If spending hundreds on a meal will do that, then that's what he's gonna do. It's more about making him pay. I guess literally," he smirks, thinking that his last statement was funny, but finding himself horrified because he found that funny.

What is Todoroki's mind doing to him?

"Your sense of humor sucks and I hate you for it," Bakugo says, huffing in annoyance as he goes to sit on the couch.

Yesterday they had no time to really do anything except freak out and be emotional because it was so late and they needed sleep.

They could relax and just watch movies now that they didn't really have anything to do. It would be good for them and they had all weekend so it was basically a necessity.

"Come on, let's just slack off all weekend. We deserve a break. All this emotional shit takes a toll, too, and you're probably exhausted from feeling so much. Pick a movie."
