School ended as the five met up at the school exit

"See you guys tomorrow" Emma said

"Emma, you texted mum, right?" Mia asked, Emma nodded

"Bye guys, I have to go or I'll be late" Emma said as she ran off waving

"Bye!" the four friends yelled, Mia sighed

"Alright, let's go to the mall!" Mia exclaimed and walked off, everyone giggled and followed

                                                                             ~ At The Mall ~

The four looked around

"Food," Clint said

"Clint, no, we just came" Lucy groaned, Peter rolled his eyes

"Clint, do you think of anything else but food," Peter asked

"Uh"

"Guys, let's just shop!" Mia said the others nodded

"Where should we go first?" Peter asked Clint

"Why are you asking me, ask the girls," Clint said, Peter again rolled his eyes, "Girls, where are we headed first?" Peter asked

"Forever 21 then Hot Topic," Mia said "Then too Old Navy and lastly Puma," Lucy said, Clint chocked on air

"B-but food" Clint wined, Peter groaned "We will head to the food court after. Happy?" Peter asked, Clint, smiled and nodded.

~ After their done shopping ~

The four sat together as they ate

"You girls bought like everything in the store" Clint groaned as Peter nodded, agreeing with Clint.

The girls glared at the boys "And you guys bought all the food in the food court" Lucy smirked and Mia let out a chuckle, the boys frowned but giggled.

Mia went to grab a fry when her phone rang

"Huh?" Mia thought as she answered the call

"Mia, come home now!" Mia's mother said

"What! Why?" Mia asked

"Just come"

"Ok, can I bring my friends?" Mia asked

"Sure" and like that she hanged up

Mia sighed and looked up at her confused friends

"I have to head home, but you guys can come," Mia said

Everyone was sad at first but smiled since they were allowed to come over, they packed up the food, grabbed their things and left to Mia's house.

They soon arrive at Mia's, Mia rang the doorbell, after some time the door opened to reveal Mia's mum.

The friends walked in and put their things away and sat down in the living room where they were greeted by Josh

"Josh!?" Lucky asked surprised, Mia's mum nodded and sat down

"Jo-osh t-tell them t-the news," Mia's mum said as she was on the verge of tears. The four looked at Josh confused as Josh sighed

"E-Emma, sh-hes de-ead" Josh stuttered out as Mia's mum burst into tears

Mia and her friends stared at Josh shocked

"Your lying!" Mia said as tears threatened to fall, Josh slowly shook his head

"But how" Peter mumbled, Josh sighed "I don't know, I left her to get some ice cream then when I heard the police I ran back to find her dead" Josh said

"MY BABY!" Mia's mom cried

Mia and her friend silently cried as their tears rolled down their cheeks.

"I-I do-ont" Mia stuttered out but Lucy spoke "Ms. Parker can we stay over with Mia so we can help her get through this?" Lucy asked, Ms. Parker, nodded "Just contact your parents," she said before walking off crying.

Josh got up as he was crying too "I'm going to leave, I'm sorry for your loss" Josh said before leaving, Mia closed and locked the door as the other asked their parents to stay over, telling them why they want to, making them agree.

"Let's go upstairs, we can all sleep on the ground," Mia said, they all nodded, grabbed their things put the food away and headed upstairs.

They put their things away and got ready for the night which was coming up, they set up the blankets and pillows on the floor and sat down in silence

"Now what do we do, without Emma," Clint said but stopped himself at her name, everyone sighed, they were about to start crying and yelling at how cruel the world was but someone appeared on Mia's bed. Everyone looked up and gasped, a girl with brown hair, black wings, red clothes and red eyes who eyes use to be blue

"E-Emma!"
